Omandri had some questions and access to one of the best information sources on the topic. His sister. So Omandri walked into the estate and inquired at the first servant or Droid he saw as to his sister's whereabouts.

She was in her office, the droid warned him she was not in the best of moods.

Omandri sighed a little, of course she wasnt, but the matter seemed a little urgent so he braced himself and made his way to her office.
He knocked on the door firmly without banging on it "It's Omandri." He said to identify himself before she answered.

"Come in," she said, "I was just thinking... well what is it?"
She was seated by the window sharpening an assortment of blades. Making sure their monomolecular edges were keen.

Omandri looked slightly warily at the blades, she must have been deep in thought for that. "Well I had some questions but is there something troubling you sister?" He asked with a concerned note in his voice

"Give me your questions, first," she said admiring the edge of her blade.

He felt a little uneasy trying to read her. She could be like a hurricane sometimes "Well I have a friend, we worked together on some business while I was away. They had some questions about contracts, more specifically if there was anyway out of them. Aside from paying which isn't an option." He said trying to keep his voice cool and casual to downplay the importance of the question.
"I know the obvious but you know the world of contracts and mortality better than anyone else on Alderaan."

“You fail to uphold a contract your Honor is called into question. If you lack Honor you don’t get contracts. That’s how it goes. It’s not a matter of getting out of it, the Contract is a contract once a House is bound by it, breaking that deal is tantamount to being called an oathbreaker,” she responded.
“When other Houses call on our services, they need to know we will execute the contract to the letter for as long as it takes.”

Omandri looked thoughtful for a moment "does a contract require a target stay dead? Or merely that they die? Well more specifically an open contract on another house. If all members of that house were to die would the contract be satisfied? And would they have to stay dead? By the strictest reading of how contracts work."

"I suppose, yes, or that no member claims the name of the House in question," she offered.
"Is this for that Riss, woman?"

Omandri nodded, no reason to try and pretend otherwise. He was a shit liar and she knew it "It is." he said simply "She asked for my assistance with some information. It seemed a simple request."

"House Uros will follow through," she said honestly. "House Lanar really pissed off someone."

Omandri nodded "So no tricks, no technicalities or loopholes?" he paused "No favors to be issued?"

“This is how things are sometimes, Omandri. If we interfere in their business especially one of Honor then they are going to want something big for the hit to their reputation. I am not prepared to do that for some outsider.”
She thought about it and added, “Maybe if they say they are no longer House Lanar that could work, or pledged themselves to another House? If the Contract reads specifically that they are hunting members of House Lanar then that could work.”

Omandri thought for a moment rubbing his chin and nodded "I understand. Thank you Giandra." He said with a genuine warmth in his voice.
He didn't move yet and instead regarded her "now what is it that has you sharpening Knives on this rainy evening?" He asked raising an eyebrow at her.

“Violence. But also it helps me think, you know for eight years I had buried our sister literally and figuratively and then well… then I found out the so-called truth. Then another truth… and another. Now we are in a corner and I can uphold our Honor or admit I was wrong and accept shame,” she said honestly.
“I think our sister is alive, or at least she didn’t die when we think she did.”

Omandri's eyebrows rose with that "thats uh....." He leaned back on the desk and looked at the floor for a minute taking deep breaths while processed.
After a minute he gathered himself "that's a lot. Where, how,..." He couldn't really form the question he wanted to "what do you mean?"

“I am still processing it as well, I had our people… exhume our dear sister, and Galen, Galen is still Galen but our remains of our sister is not a match for us. It is someone else. We are tracking down who but the fact remains, it’s not our sister. I could be impressed if I wasn’t on the wrong end of the secret,” she responded.

"Thats....that's huge." A smile broke put on his face "Viadnra could be alive! Thats...Thats..." the smile fell almost as quick as it came "if Thats true why hasn't she reached out? Where has she been for eight years?" He shook his head "sorry, sorry I know you don't know."
Omandri found a seat and ran his hands through his hair taking a minute to try and pull it all together "ok so you're doing the work figuring out who is in her grave. How much do you know about how she died, do we have any record of her mission or what was happening at the time?"

“She was working with Galen; he was probably showing her how things are done. Galen gets murdered by that Jedi; she goes into whatever she is. But there was a third person, I had forgotten about her, it didn’t seem important at the time because she died too. But she isn’t buried where Thul thought they buried her. Someone else is in that grave,” she responded.
“It’s not good news, and now I have to decide what to do about this Jedi nonsense,” she admitted.
