[D7 LE] Heavenly Bodies

Garth let the Firespray drift in the upper thermosperhic layer of Alderaan's atmosphere, where gravity ceased to be. Looking out the front canopy at the Cloudshape Falls he reached back towards his guest's hand.

"Innit beautiful?" He asked simply.

[Dapper Dog]

She observed and smirked saying, “Looks pretty cool, is this how you impress your dates, Garth?”

[Garth Wayne Ulgo]

"Ah ain't had a date ah've wanted t' impress fer quite a while." Garth admitted with a smile of his own.

"Y' did well today, tyin' with Queen Solara were no mean feat."

[Dapper Dog]

“It was a highlight for me, she’s a great rider. I wish I could have seen her in her prime, she was probably amazing. Not that she isn’t in her prime, well you know. But really you did really well too and who knew a Sith could get a thranta to perform like that,” she responded.

[Garth Wayne Ulgo]

"Damn that woman," Garth replied jokingly as he moved over to sit in the passenger seat.

"Ah were so close t' that first place. Never woulda picked her t' be that adept. But how dumb am ah? Up here, all alone wi' you, an' talking about another woman." He laughed self deprecatingly.

“I don’t mind, the other riders performed well. I didn’t expect it either but sometimes that how you win, by being unexpected. But you did really well, so no need to be angry. Most folks don’t even finish, they push their thranta too hard,” she admitted.

Reaching for Miyi's hand, Garth gently pulls her toward him.

"Ah was prepared t' do what ah had to fer a good showing, ah think ye'll find there's not much ah won't do when ah have my eyes set on something ah want."

He looks into her eyes and smiles. "So what d' you want, Miyi?"

She smiled and said, "I want... to see how this ship handles, mind if I fly?"

"Ah'm already trusting y' with mah heart, what more t' trust y' with mah life?" Garth replies as he gestures to the pilot seat with an open hand.

"Th' Sparrow's yours, for a spin at least."

[Dapper Dog]

She grinned and put the ship through the paces, she was a talented pilot for sure. She definitely knew how to handle the craft.

"Just take it easy on 'er retro thrusters, mah mechanic's back on Bankor." Garth commented with a smile as he watched her work.

Standing up, he walked behind her and draped his arms iver the back of her chair, resting hands on her shoulders, and placing a kiss on the top of her head. "So, whaddya think? Ah'm hopin' t get some upgrades done soon and was thinkin' bout th' hyperdr8ve, but ah'm open t' suggestions from a knowledgable ind'vidual."

"Not bad, she holds together and seems to handle... okay. I will try not to break her," she responded as he kept maneuvering around in orbit.

Garth was content to watch the woman work, and enjoyed basking in the pleasure she exuded from the activity.

"Far from th' scale of th' Capital ships ya wanna command ah know, and far fr'm cutting edge tech. But Captain Alderaan's offered me 'is support in getting a trial wi' Ghost Squadron. They have some fun toys t' play with ah hear."

"Ghost Squadron? That is an awesome posting, you think you got the chops for that?" she offered.

"As long as mah girlfriend lets me drive ev'ry now an' again t' practice ah'll be fine." He jokes lightly.

"What c'n ah say, ah don't settle fer anything but the best." Garth adds as he squeezes her shoulder lightly.

[Dapper Dog]

"Yeah for sure, your girlfriend can do whatever she wants. I can't wait to meet her," she teased.

[Garth Wayne Ulgo]

"Me neither, ah'm sure y'all will get on great. She's whip smart, talented as hell and cute 's a button. Ah'm sure ah have a picture round here somewhere."

Garth flips through some compartments, revealing a large quantity of picked flowers, before finding a mirror and holdung it up to Miyi.

"See, there she is."

"You're a dork, a massive dork," she said warmly. "It's really your best trait."

[Garth Wayne Ulgo]

Garth just grins goofily. "That an' mah good taste." He adds as he reclaims the seat next to Miyi.

"Stars're bright tonight." He says softly as the pair are basked by the glow of the moon.

[Dapper Dog]

"Stars are always bright," she said with a shake of her head and then said, "You are such a massive dork." But that prompts her to kiss his cheek and then lips.
