Major NPCs involved in the Alderaan story line.

[Solara Panteer]

The Queen of Alderaan, surviving her late husband, Queen Solara Panteer exists in a precarious situation of trying to keep her world from civil war, silencing a growing faction that wants independence due to the Treaty of Coruscant, and her now controversial ties to House Thul have made her a divisive figure on Aldreraan, yet she is still respected and powerful but for how long?

Currently her focus is on her children and determining who will succeed her and mending the damage done with House Ulgo if that is even possible.

Hooks

• She is the to impress if you want to earn Favor of marrying her children.
• Politically savvy and well connected she could be a good friend to have, but she will want something in return.
• Similar to her son she enjoys being outdoors and racing thrantas and breeding them.

[Joran Panteer]

Prince of Alderaan and the elder of the twins by a few minutes, Joran is a trained military officer in the Republic and even seen some combat but would hardly consider himself a veteran. He is well liked and outgoing and a practiced outdoorsman. Like his older brother he enjoys the company of many people in his court and is rumored to have several encounters.

Joran is in good shape and handsome and protective of his sister but not overly so, but if someone disrespected her in his presence, he would make his will known. He is not opposed to a duel and his passions can run hot when he is dealing with protecting his family and tends to rely on personal and military strength over diplomacy.

Hooks

• Handsome and outgoing, Joran, enjoys the outdoors and having a good time. Quiet pursuits in general are not that important or interesting to him.
• He has a military background and education, and tends to think in terms of winning and losing; he is well liked by Panteer soldiers.
• He really loves racing thrantas, and is looking forward to the Festival Race with great excitement.

[Jameela Panteer]

Princess of Alderaan, the second of the twins but no lesser in the eyes of the public, Jameela has been offworld for nearly a decade studying on Coruscant and across the Core pursuing a career in academics and xenoarchaeology scholarship. Coming back to Alderaan has been a bit of culture shock as she has not been super involved with nobility or the intrigue and politics of her home world.

She is a quick study but she finds the games of court tedious and exhausting and mimicking the worst part of politics in the academic world which she fervently avoided. She finds this whole process to be archaic and dumb but also she knows he is bound by them and will do her best publicly to comly with her mother’s demands.

Hooks

• Beautiful but shy, she tends to avoid large groups and prefers quiet moments or just being left alone.
• She has several degrees, mostly upper degrees in various related fields in studying ancient cultures across the galaxy which is of great interest to her.
• It’s rumored she has befriended the Imperial Envoy, scandalous if true.

[Yulastranza Ulgo]

Heir to House Ulgo, Yulastranza Ulgo is a strong woman born into hard family of a war hero. She was raised as a soldier as well and unlike Joran, she has seen a great deal of combat, so much so that she has had an arm replaced after it was mangled in conflict during the war. This also mean she hates the Empire and by virtue hates Thul and thinks that the Panteer are weak for dealing with Thul. The first thing she would do as Queen is see Thul crushed.

She was spurned by Gaul, but will not fail a second time and she will marry Joran and woe to any that get in her way. Beautiful, strong, and fierce she knows when to use her strength and when to use her words, still she isn’t as hard as her father and is actually quite likable for a noble warrior woman.

• Beautiful and fierce, while she uses her looks she relies more on her skill and strength than on feminine wiles.
• A soldier, she is well liked by Ulgo troops and finds much in common with military veterans and is very anti-Empire.
• She is adaptable, not an outdoorswoman by nature but if it impresses her husband to be, she will be what she needs to be to get the mission done.

[Ziandra Thul]

Ziandra Thul is the head of House Thul and one of the main architects of their return to power, first coming to power after having her kin and rival removed on Nar Shaddaa many years prior; she took control married a powerful if mysterious husband from Imperial space and used her sizable wealth and influence to aid House Panteer after the disastrous events that lead to the falling out of Ulgo and Panteer.

Now she is a close ally of Queen Panteer and is working to maneuver her family into a strong position to oppose Ulgo by default and Organa for their role in getting her House exiled in the first place. Ziandra is a mother of crimson-skinned twins, and her house is defended by powerful soldiers who are rumored to have mastered the Force under husband’s guidance.

Another point of controversy is the small delegation of Imperial envoys stationed at their estate. Most consider this House to be pawns of the Empire but the truth may be more complicated than it seems on the surface.

Hooks

• Want to aid Panteer, Ziandra is invested in their success for the short term it seems.
• While not vocal on the subject, her House would benefit from the Independence movement for Alderaan and weaken Organa.
• Thul is not as underhanded as Rist, but they will dirty their hands and always looking for capable, discrete, agents.

[Lana Beniko]

Lana Beniko is an enigma for the Republic, she seems a low ranked Sith Lord who has been involved in some important events but never in a role of significance. She is considered dangerous for being a Sith but seems to eschew the vicious pageantry of her Order.

She might even seem approachable, for being a Sith Lord.

Hooks

• Lana Beniko is the head of the Imperial delegation and seems to be focusing her efforts on helping House Thul.
• Lana is a Sith, take that for what you will. There is no information if she was directly involved with the invasion of Coruscant.
• She is a woman of few words, quiet and calm, and tends to observe than interject herself into a situation.

[Jerri Organa]

Jerri is not a great warrior, he isn’t much of a soldier at all though he did serve for two years as expected of most noble men of his family, it was that or service in the Senate and he kind of hates being around lots of people so he picked the best of a terrible situation.

When he finished he returned home and found that he kind of hates working, really doing much of anything outside of writing or playing games on the holonet was all he really cared about which meant he achieved very little for a couple of years before he started putting some of writings mostly fan fiction for popular series that got him noticed… so he retooled some works and released a novel and it made a huge splash and he found his niche, trashy romance novels starring Jedi in very adult situations.

As an Organa from the main family in good standing, his name got put forward and no one really consulted him and he got all the way to the Festival before people realized a few things; he is terribly shy, hates the outdoors, and has very little ambition.

• Like to talk about things, don’t talk to him, and save you both the trouble.
• If you think fun is hanging out in the same room drinking tea and staring at separate books or screens… maybe… unless he is already in his sweats.
• Oh you read my book, nice. I guess.
• Jedi… oh I need more source material for my work.
