[D6, EA] Send me everything you have

Kellen was now certain that he was missing something. Ghoun Rist had to have discovered information about those vases, and so did a mysterious benefactor. If they knew then there had to be records out there somewhere.

Kellen pulled a few strings and some favors from old friends in various libraries, museums, and dusty university departments. One of the vases had been found on Corellia so he called up a colleague there first.

Maybe he was finally getting somewhere.

Apocryphal rumors that the vases could be used to communicate with killik hive minds or even repel or destroy the hive mind, now there are other scholar who say there is no evidence of this being possible and that this story is attributed to a fringe scholarly group who believe this idea because it fits into a narrative that some great calamity happened to shatter the peace between human and killik.

Other scholars though simply ay that general friction between growing populations of humans and killiks just lead to natural conflict and that humans had the technology advantage and were able to curtail killik expansion.

They believe that the vases were probably from a time of semi-peaceful coexistence but they suspect that the hives did have joiners who volunteered to be bridges between the hive and humanity, but this may have also spelled the downfall as it is suggested that the hive can also expand their knowledge and understanding by bringing in joiners and it could have added new emotional experiences and ideas that the hives did not possess.

The vase on Corellia was in their library and came to the interest of Ghoun through his connections to these fringe scholars, but Verash bout it first. Ghoun seems to ascribe to the idea that the vases could do something, but mainstream scholars seem to think they are just vases. They won’t do anything and are just remnants from a bygone era.
