Morning At The Museum (D5, EM)

"Stolen, returned, and apparently now purchased due to a significant contribution to someone's retirement fund. I'm extrapolating, but probably not that much."

He looked tired now and poured himself another kaff before sinking into his seat. The eyes got a good rubbing. "You might be surprised by the amount of history that never gets to see the light of day due to ending up in some rich idiot's cabinet."

He looked at Kat and Tethys. "I've only spoken to the Countess once. Time for a longer conversation I think."

"I've only heard of her. Never had the chance to meet her, but she is rarely on Alderaan from what I understand." Kat sipped from her own mug, feeling sympathy for the poor professor. She did think that things like this belonged in museums, not in a personal collection.

"Anything we can do to help?"

"That's right, she is based on Delaya." He gave her a grateful look but shook his head. "Thank you, but this is something I need to deal with myself. I'll take Padawan Yil though if possible. She was the one who brought the relic to my attention in the first place."

Finishing his kaff he debated pouring another cup. "Shall we see about more Black Circle fact finding tomorrow? I suspect I have a long day ahead of me, what with the cruise and all."

"That sounds acceptable to me."

She did give him one brief look of concern. "Please be careful though. Both you and Padawan Yil."

"Tomorrow it is, then." Tethys nods. "I'll ask whether the Jedi Archives have anything left about Nazda Vim. Although, for something that long ago..." She shrugs one shoulder. "The trouble with information in the Jedi Archives is that any time someone decides to go to war against the Order, records storage becomes, well, collateral damage. Any data on Nazda would have had to survive more than one disaster like the recent one on Coruscant, but it is worth looking, at least."
