The second assassin threw off rubble and clashed with the Prince their blade dancing before the more skilled assassin elbowed her and then twisted her sword arm forcing her to drop the weapon.

Those Ulgo troopers were a serious problem. Also, shooting at them meant he didn't have to attack any Rists. Kellen grabbed and readied a blaster rifle from one of the fallen Panteer Honor guard. Taking careful aim he fired at the full squad and took at least two down!

"Do you have any idea what you've done? These relics are irreplaceable!"

Meanwhile Queen Solara used a stimpack on her son, taking it from his kit. Unther sucked in air and was back to being conscious. Shge said, "We will endure, and Alderaan will not bend to tyrants!"

The grenade exploded taking out the minions and destroying even more priceless relics. The scholars are weeping at the wanton destruction. Baroness Rist frowned, this operation was sideways and things were going poorly. So she used the tried and true Rist technique of smoke grenade and vanishing until a better time.

Besides this technically was not a sanctioned kill so no real Honor loss besides the whole treason thing. The other assassin followed suit and after a second there is stillness. The security droid vocalized, “Professor Rist, there seems to be minor damage to the following displays…” the droid continues listing dozens and dozens relics.

OOC: Destiny for Assassin escape and the combat ends. But the damage to the Museum is extensive.

[Delmi Koor]

Just outside the museum a transport landed flanked by Thul fighters. When it touched on the ground Delmi jumped out with blasters at the ready and bursted through a tear in the wall.

She moved quickly towards the location of the safe room looking for any remaining enemies.

[Dapper Dog]

Unther grabbed his rifle and rolled out into the hall to make sure it was clear and said, “I don’t trust the shuttle, got intel from Joran that it could be trapped. We go on foot from here.”

He was bloody but still ready.

"Be careful, Prince Unther." Galen cautioned, stepping out of the room. "Let us lead the way. "

He looked at Solara and Jameela as they emerged, lingering worriedly on the princess. "Are you both alright?"

[Aurilie Alde]

Aurilie frown at the elbow butt that caused her to drop her sword. She did fine but had ways to go with her swordwork it seems. However, that bit of madness was done for now. She picked up her sword once more and perhaps a dropped blaster for future use. Aurilie made her way to Unther, helping him walk if he needed the support. Frankly, she was very surprised that he was still standing. "Right, then. We can't dally now."

"Be careful, Princess Unther." Galen cautioned, stepping out of the room. "Let us lead the way. "

He looked at Solara and Jameela as they emerged, lingering worriedly on the princess. "Are you both alright?"

"We will endure," the Queen said. Jameela just nodded in agreement, shaken by the whole ordeal.

Galen holstered his pistol and found a working rifle amid the rubble.

He tried to reach whomever he could over his commlink, checking in with Garth, Baesal, Blai, Omandri, Gil and anyone else who came to mind.

[Delmi Koor]

Delmi continued through the half-destroyed museum looking for signs of the Queen and her retinue.

Blasters were ready, but caution was used to make sure she’d identify enemy from ally.

Galen offered a hand to Jameela for comfort as they made there way out of the museum.

[Kellen Rist]

Kellen simply did his best not to look at the devastation and went to make sure that everyone had made it. "There are medpacks and stims in the security office. I suggest we gather those on the way out."

He gave the royals a reassuring nod. "We will rebuild, better than before. It's the Alderaanian way. The important thing is that all of you are still standing." Keeping his rifle ready in case of trouble he moved up alongside the Prince.

OOC: Yes, comms are not working.

[Blai Frayus]

As a shuttle arrives in full haste at the museum, or what remains of it, out came Blai and a howling wolf in unlikely company - Miyi Thul and others from the Thul entourage.

Seeing the destruction, it takes Blai a moment to make sense of what's happened, and he almost cries out for the queen and Jameela before holding himself back and remembering to do the smart thing and take a look around to see what, and who, he can see before making their arrrival known to all.

OOC: joining from the Thul estate with DD's permission.
Also activating sense if allowed. Two stims used on the way, to 0 wounds taken.
