Day 1 EM: Early historian catches the bookworm

Baesal was intering the museum dressed in her robes as an official Jedi but could not refrain her expression of awe at the place. She was a nerd after all.

The knight walked down the hall looking for what, or who, she sought

[Dapper Dog]

She finds the padawan sitting at a desk in her office off the main wing looking frustrated at a datapad.

She was talking to herself, "Who is Delmi? And what... that is gross... why would write that... no thank you, that's not going nowhere near any of my... my word."

[Baesal Zyn]

''Good morning padawan Kumos'' Baesal greeted as she approached ''I am Knight Baesal Zyn...am I catching you at a bad moment?''

[Dapper Dog]

She stood sharply and said nervously, "Greetings Baesal, I am honored you would come and see me."

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal smiled warmly

''You where talking about a Delmi? Can I be of any help with what bothers you?''

[Dapper Dog]

"I don't know a Delmi but I get weird messages on the holonet from these fans who think I am this Delmi and some get real... uhh explicit," she said trying to regain her calm.

[Baesal Zyn]

An eyebrow was raised

''The only Delmi I know is Delmi Koor from Havoc squad.'' the knight tilted her head to look at the padawan's feature...perhaps they were related?

[Dapper Dog]

She blinked and shrugged and said, "Well if it's the same one then well... I don't know. How can I help you, Jedi Baesal?"

[Baesal Zyn]

(ooc: does she look like Delmi?)

''I have taken upon myself to study the Killiks and see if there is any way to make peace with them...do you know much about of them?''

[Dapper Dog]

She does have a striking resemblance to Delmi and she replied, "I have tried studying them but... well killiks are very territorial and fairly aggressive against humans. They are the original intelligent species here on Alderaan."

"Obviously that changed at some point, and not peacefully."

[Baesal Zyn]

''I see...'' she paused ''Could you guide me to where historical records about the Killiks can be found? What the originals settlers found on the planet?''

[Dapper Dog]

"Sure we don't get much interest on that here, they really kind of don't like talking about it," she offered as she led the way.

[Baesal Zyn]

''I know it is instinctual in most mammal species to recoil from insectoid lifeforms. Having them human size and living in what you think was your backyard probably does not help.''

Knight followed padawan to the correct section

[Dapper Dog]

"Well technically the early human settlers lived in the killik's backyard," she replied.

"If you are really interested, I got something interesting I could show you."

[Baesal Zyn]

The knight smiled

''Correct and yes I am interested''

[Dapper Dog]

They go down into the basement and she starts looking through a private collection held in trust from an Alde Collection and seem frustrated.

[Baesal Zyn]

''Is there a problem?''

Baes looked around, highly interested

[Dapper Dog]

"I can't seem to find the thing I was going to show you, it should be right here," she said, puzzled.

[Baesal Zyn]

The jedi nodded

''Mmhmm'' she looked around ''Have your tried to search through the Force? If you are already familiar with the object there is a connection that could be traced''

[Dapper Dog]

"Yes of course," she reached out and then opened her eyes, "It is not in the museum I got the feeling of small hands, nervousness... fear."
