[D4 EA] Archaeology Montage

Between the returned package and the items that had been gathered from the abandoned Ulgo base, Kellen had a considerable amount of work to be getting on with. Fortunately it was all incredibly interesting!
He put in a call to Padawan Yil Kumos as she had been the one who alerted him to the Killik-Human relic in the first place. Might as well start there. It had been the source of three days of adventures, explosions, shady deals, and all sorts of underhanded stuff.
So he broke out his tools and started work.

"I heard it was found, I am so happy the mystery is over," she said warmly.

Kellen gave her a sly smile. "Hello Padawan Yil! Oh well I would say the mystery has only just begun." He gestured to the vase. "Selected for some reason. Stolen. Chased. Captured. Returned."
A look of pure curiosity crossed his face. "Why this piece of all pieces? Let's see what we can learn from it shall we?"

The vase is old probably goes back to the time of first human settlement of Alderaan and has stylistic designs of the early human settles and killiks, it resembles their strange hive structures in design and shape. It was probably used to store food stuffs based on the chemical analysis and seems unremarkable but as he goes through the records he finds this may have been part of a set of three and two are in the hands of Verash Organa, and this one is the odd one out.
The blade is a relic of the Black Circle and with Pimbo’s expertise he points them towards sources and texts that describe it as a warrior’s badge, those that earned a certain rank in the order were gifted these blades and perhaps at one time they were alchemically treated or finished to be highly resistant to wear and damage, perhaps even highly potent weapons like Lightsabers.
That practice is lost but the text is a journal of an initiate in the order describing his training regimen, and then his initiation which required a night vigil at a statue of an Alde Queen and then once completed they were gifted with a warrior’s badge to signify, they were now a member of the Black Circle. Then it details a siege by House Organa and Ulgo as they had exposed an alliance to overthrow the current queen and were destroyed to the last along with their Jedi allies. The last entry reads:
They are inside now, Jedi Nazda Vim is the last of them, we make our stand. The Black Circle will fall our fortress will be shattered, but the Blackguards will ride again. We will be avenged.

"Well now, isn't that interesting?" Kellen sat back in his chair and rubbed his eyes. "Lots for your Jedi friends to think about. And I should probably pay a little visit to Delaya."
He looked around for the museum database. "I don't suppose you know if those other vases from the set were held here at one time do you Yil? Perhaps there is something important about the three together."

“I can check, I wasn’t even aware they were part of a set,” she responded.
“What’s on Delaya?”

"Thank you Yil, much appreciated. Yes, I only just realised myself." He gestured to the information. "That should help."
Standing he paced a little. "Delaya is where we can find a couple of, shall we say, rather enthusiastic collectors of ancient Alderaanian relics. First though I would like to have a better idea of what bringing the set together might mean, if anything."
He picked up his comlink and sent a message to Jedi Knights Tethys Carrack and Kat Ulgo.

"You mean this isn't over?" she said rubbing the bridge of her nose.

The Professor smirked at her. "Come now Padawan, that seems unlikely. Are you not intrigued? Why steal it, is it really just a case of rival collectors? And if so then why did a mysterious benefactor get involved to return it?"
He rubbed his eyes and looked for the pot of kaff. "I think thee is more to this than we are seeing. For a start it would help to know if the companion pieces were held by the museum and sold, or stolen, or never made it to a museum."

"Well one was held in trust by a museum on Corellia and then made it's way to Verash Organa about three years ago, the other it seems like she has had no real records," she responded.
"Ghoun Rist tried to purchase the one on Corellia but Lady Organa beat him to it, I guess."

"How did it end up on Corellia?" He pondered the situation. "Ghoun complained that Verash always seemed to be one step ahead of him. Perhaps this is all more to do with Verash Organa than the vase itself. However, we can't rule out the possibility that there is something important about all three items being brought together."
He flashed a smile at Yil. "How would you feel about a field trip Padawan?"

"I feel like I should get packing I guess," she said in reply.

"That's the spirit!" Kellen chuckled. "I should prepare a few things myself. Let's make sure this item is kept under constant guard in the meantime."

"Please no explosions," she muttered as she started making preparations.
