Alderaan - Love and Intrigue

Well, here she was. As Arsele looked at the museum from a nearby roof, she thought about the job ahead. Sure, she'd stolen from rich people before back on Nar Shaddaa, but this was a little bit different. For one, she'd not been invited in and simply pocketed something small. For another, this was a huge building and not some relatively small penthouse. For yet another, she was home; If she got caught here, it would be very different than being caught there. Sure, potentially less deadly, but still.

Matte black environment skinsuit on, Arsele pulled her mask and hunting goggles down over her face and looked for the best way in.

OOC: How is she making her approach? She sees two guards walking the exterior perimeter and a two drones fying around on erratic patrols.

OOC: Trying to figure out if there is a window or service entrance she can get in between patrols that has no cameras.

Two guards and a few drones wasn't much for such a big facility, so it was relatively easy for Arsele to find a window to a museum office that looked like it could be slid open out of their patrol timing. She checked to see if it was locked or alarmed in any way as she slid up to it in the shadows.

She was inside the building in a maintenance room with cleaning stuff and carts and a few deactivated droids. One door lead out.

Checking the door again to see if it's locked or alarmed, she puts her ear to it to hear if there's anyone walking or talking outside of the door.

Arsele couldn't hear anything, so that was good. Also good was that the maintenance room had a floorplan of the whole building, not just the public areas, with labels for the different maintenance closets, ducts and vents, and the different routes to plug into the cleaning droids. It didn't say where the painting she was looking for was, but it gave her a bit more info on the underground parts of the museum.

Folding the sheet up and putting it in her utility belt, Arsele quietly opened the door and slipped out, shutting the door softly behind her.

OOC: Failed roll, using Advantage to find maintenance duct/electrical map.

She finds the maintenance map an ducts large enough for her to enter. Also spiders, in them ducts.

Walking down the hallway she goes to one of the air conditioning vents on the map; It says it's one of the main arteries to the basement and the utilities room, so there's just the matter of getting into (and out of) the vent. She finds where the grating is and checks how it's attached to the wall.

She can pry it loose pretty easily.

Arsele slipped into the cramped ducting and put the grate back down behind her to leave it undisturbed. It was slow going being quiet in the metal ducting, and she was careful not to disturb any sensors or access panels on her way down... but it was dark and cramped, and she didn't want to risk turning on a light. So all she had were her hunter goggles to help her try to see in the narrow venting.

Day 5, Museum, MN, Stealth/Agility, Average to not bang her way through the ducting: 1eP+3eA+2eD 1 success, 1 threat

She found her way to the right room but could see through the grate a person reading a datapad talking with a second person outside of her field of vision.

Arsele bit her lower lip and looked at the map through the light coming through the grate; She had a pistol with her, but the last thing she needed was noise and people on alert. Maybe there was a hallway outside of the room she could cause some commotion in to lure them out of the room before coming back through the vent...

One leaves their post to check but the other stays behind leaving one in the room for now.

Back in the air ducts, Arsele quietly takes off the grill to the duct she's in and aims her small shock pistol at the one remaining guard...
