The museum was trashed. Every so often there was a crashing sound from somewhere followed by a chorus of groans from hard-working staff. But the really odd thing was the bursts of occasional laughter.

"The Weeping Lilacsh by Jo-shef...Joshefer...Jo-cepherous Organa. What a shtupid name. Shredded. Fragged in fact."

Kellen had a datapad in one hand and what appeared to be an expensive bottle of brandy in the other. He was walking around one of the wings speaking to himself, securobot, or anyone who would listen. It seemed to be an inventory.

"Rose of the Morning by Ishy Risht. Dishrupted. Ahaha! Ironically trashed by her great great great, and very very attractive, deschendent, Baronesh Risht."

There was a pause and the sound of liquid moving in a bottle as he took a swig. "Where was I?"

[Gil Corren]

"Other then concerning me with the some of your statements, I'm not sure." Gil replied as he walked towards the other man. There was a small bag in his hand, but otherwise little out of the ordinary about the guard. "Seems you got started a big ago." He said as he nodded towards the bottle in Kellen's hand.

It was no surprise the man had forgotten Gil was trying to set him up on something of a date this evening. All this destruction and alcohol would do that to a man.

"Gil!!!" Kellen grinned and started to go for a hug but realised his hands were full and looked at them. "Brandy? Don't worry there'sh plenty more. Shpeshal edishion too!"

He sighed. "You know what my friend? I think I'm might be, a teeny bit, tiny bit, tipshy."

"Been keeping the good stuff for yourself then haven't you." Gil replied, his lips twitching at the edges in what could be a smile.

Still he clapped the other man on the shoulder and nodded. "You know, I think you just might be right."

Pimbo had found a sandwich and just chewed and said, “At least they didn’t-” *Smash*, and shrugged. He continued chewing. It wasn;t like this was going to get fixed over night.


Meanwhile Padawan Kumos tried to gather what she could for recovery and repair. She really wished this was all a big nightmare but in nearly ten days her whole world was flipped upside-down. But maybe there was a silver lining somewhere?

Baesal finally had managed to reach the museum...or what was left of it. She walked around carefully as not to crush anything of value under her foot until she noticed padawan Yumos and felt a degree of relief

''Good evening...I am glad you are still in one piece....'' as she spoke she realised the padawan was standing beside shattedred glass and ancient items ''...hum...pun not intended'

"Just helping the Professor catalogue what survived the battle," she said in return. "I hope the rest of the Jedi fared well?"

Kellen sighed. "Well Gil, it helps that you're here. I sh...shh...should probably, sober up a bit. But LOOK AT THE PLACE!!!" He gestured expansively at the ruins, managing not to spill any brandy.

"Poor Padawan Yil. At least some of her work escaped..." He saw Baesal Zyn approach and started to walk in their direction.

"Have you met Yil, Gil? Hah, that rhymes. Hello there! Brandy?"

"I am not sure if that is comforting, Professor," she admitted.

Gil offered a nod of greeting to the young woman as they made their way over. "Miss Yil." Then placing his bag down reached into his pocket for a stimstick with one hand while reaching for the Brandy bottle with the other.

"Not exactly a cure for drunkenness, but might he'll a bit." He said as he offered the stim stick to Kellen, before taking a swig from the Brandy bottle for himself. Well, if Kellen had given it up.

"I am not sure if that is comforting, Professor," she admitted.

Kellen looked non-plussed, his eyes moving from the bottle to the Padawan. Then he shrugged and handed Gil the bottle. "Perhapsh not. Oh, thanks Gil."

He took the stim stick in exchange and attempted to use it. It worked on the second try. "Oof. That's a rush."

Gil took another swig of the brandy before offering it around once again. "So what are all of you up to here? Cleaning up?"

[Baesal Zyn]

"Just helping the Professor catalogue what survived the battle," she said in return. "I hope the rest of the Jedi fared well?"

She began picking up the dismantled frame of an old painting that had seen some fire

''From what I know, yes. I have been trying to understand how it happened.''

She focused on the force, looking at the painting's patterns. In a few moments she began being intimate with the structure of the piece but not it's meaning or representation. Slowly she tried to reweaved the piece, giving it back it's original design.

''Mmmh not sure it qualifies as fixed but it should be easier for subsequent restoration.''

Gil took another swig of the brandy before offering it around once again. "So what are all of you up to here? Cleaning up?"

"Cataloguing Gil, cataloguing. Preparing a list and checking it twice, trying to find out who's artwork survived! The insurance clause is coming to town." He chuckled a touch maniacally. "Well, it's counting down anyway."

His hand raised before he realised there was no bottle in it, so just rubbed his chin. "Padawan Yil has been a valued member of our sh, sh, staff, and we are all hands on deck to see what can be saved. These stims. Man." Now he felt overly focused AND drunk.

(OOC: I'm going to assume that was a typo in Baesal's post and she is not literally being intimate with museum property...because I'm fairly sure Alderaan frowns on that.)

[Cynella Andrim]

At least by now Cynella was properly dressed in her signature jacket. And instead of swords, she now how her special blaster that totally could have been useful earlier! She'd come as soon as she'd heard the terrible news about the museum's state. "Ah, no, no, no!" she exclaimed, clenching her fists. "Why stage a coup in here? An invasion, sure, but a coup should stay away from such precious things."

She buried her face in her palms. "I didn't even get to see all the exhibits myself before this happened..."

With a sigh, she resumed her usual, more affable demeanor. "Well, I guess we can only clean up." She waved over to the group already here and made her approach. "Ah, it's good to be in fine company again... though I wish it was in better circumstances." Her eyes narrowed. "Is that alcohol?"

Not seeing her approach Kellen replied: "Alcohol? It's a fine Alderaanian brandy! Which, well you are very, very welcome to share." Turning he was stopped for a moment as his brain recognized Cynella, and how delightful she was, while the assorted stimulants and depressants warred over his responses to stimuli. A bright smile appeared to win out.

"Oh. Hello again Cynella, how delightful to see you! Even in amongst the ruin that has come to our museum." There was only a small edge of despair to his tone. "I would give you a tour..." He gestured to a couple of unscathed relics in amongst the chaos. "...well I suppose it wouldn't take too long." He laughed a little flatly.

"Every bit helped," the Padawan said thankful for all the aid.

Baesal nodded and continued to partially restore some piece as best she could

''Padawan Kumos...do you know who purchased the killik vases? I would like to have a chance to study them before the hive's migration...which is another subject I wanted to ask you: would you be interested in helping me study the killik hives on the field?''

"Countess Verash Organa," she responded and added, "If you need my help, then I am obligated to give it. Wait what migration?"

[Kellen Rist]

Kellen gave the Togruta a puzzled look. "I didn't realise you had qualifications in Archaeology Jedi Zyn? I had already examined one of the vases. As I said, it had remnant food stuffs within." He shrugged.

"The Countess has agreed to let me examine the full set together. Which might finally happen tomorrow. There has been rather a lot going on." He tried not to focus on the destruction.
