She’s all Pew (Pre-game, Morning)

She gave him a confident nod and a thumbs up, "Got it. Stay on target."

She looked over at a beeping console, "Looks like we're almost there."

She stood and started to stretch. "Startin' to get exciting! 'Nother mission success coming up!"

[Dapper Dog]

That actually made him chuckle as he looked up from the datapad and said, “I feel like anything after Bankor would seem like a downgrade in excitement. I doubt we will have to worry about crazy mandos trying to crash a ship into the Palace.”

[Delmi Koor]

“Or like hurling asteroids at cities and stuff…” She nodded.

“That was some crazy shit. Hope I don’t have to lose my other arm because I picked the wrong fork or something.”

[Dapper Dog]

"Yeah let's keep all our limbs this time," he responded.

"Less paperwork."

[Delmi Koor]

“Yes, mmm. Yes. Wouldn’t want to bother the SIS bureaucrat in charge of severed limb compensation. That’s a hard enough job as it is.” She said with a faux solemn nod.

[Dapper Dog]

"She gets real surly, it takes a monumental amount of kaff to bribe her," he responded.

"By the way anyone planet side or coming planet side that you know, you do have friends outside of myself, right?"

[Delmi Koor]

She tilted her head, “Some of the Bankor vets are gonna be around I think. I wasn’t exactly Miss Popular back then… but there were a couple people I talked to a bit.”

She paused, “Major Captain Alderaan is probably gonna be there I’d guess. He told me I should visit someday… Probably won’t be too stoked about me being tied to his family’s arch-rivals though.”

She curled her hands into ‘scary fingers’ when she said ‘arch-rivals’.

[Dapper Dog]

"Yeah Niall is going to be a little... concerned at that development," he said dubiously.

[Delmi Koor]

She shrugged, “We’re on the same team. Even if not everyone gets it.”

She paused, “Speaking of not getting it and ‘same team’. Do you know what the Jedi are up to? Supposed to be a bunch of them around, right?”

She asked, “Any Bankor vets among the Jedi on Alderaan?”

[Dapper Dog]

"Three off the top of my head, Tethys, Baesal, and Layne; maybe more. I am guessing they want to keep the planet from sliding to Secession," he responded.

[Delmi Koor]

“Cool. Think I spoke to a couple of them… fought with Layne against those tree wizards.”

She nodded, “It’ll be nice to have them around.”

[Dapper Dog]

"I always feel better having a few Jedi on our side," he admitted.

[Delmi Koor]

She nodded affirmatively, "Always a big help. You sure you didn't get any magic powers from your mama? Could come in handy sometime."

[Dapper Dog]

"I have my implants, but no connection to the Force," he said with a sigh.

"I am just fine with that."

[Delmi Koor]

She nodded and walked over to her friend and patted him on the shoulder with her cybernetic arm.

"Nothin' wrong with that." She smiled.

"You do good work too without having to be the head of the Jedi Council."

[Dapper Dog]

"Thanks," he said dryly looking up at her. He returned to working on the datapad and said, "Just take care when dealing with Thul."

[Delmi Koor]

“I’ll do my best.” She said with a her trademark smirk.

She walked to the cockpit just as the ship came out of hyperspace. The blue and green orb floating in space striking the eyes.

“That’s a pretty one…” She said to no one in particular.

Queen Delmi Koor of Alderaan…

Wouldn’t that be fuckin’ hilarious?

She chuckled to herself as she tapped her hand on the back of the pilot’s seat.

She’d keep her eyes fixed on the window as the ship pushed forward into the alien atmosphere…
