Hearing the Baroness, Jocasta responds gratefully, "You are doing the right thing, thank you."

Turning back to the crowd she yells out, "Leave this place in an orderly fashion! The fighting isn't over yet, get to a safe place!"

She then follows behind the others towards the castle, avoiding the debris

Omandri heard what the Ulgo said and remembered his sisters words. He paused for only a second before pulling a collapsible shield from his pack and charging toward the flames leaping through them and landing in a three point stance before running toward the palace.

Jerri followed Layne somehow avoiding the flames, "Hey... come back here rapscallion! I am not done telling you what's what!"

The trip plus Jerri arrive at the throne room picking their way past fallen fighters. To see Joran get easily dispatched by the King Ulgo as he was wont to kill himself. Joran was alive but bleeding. Yulastranza raised her weapon and said to her father, “This isn’t the Ulgo way!”


“You were supposed to report back to me at my command, foolish child. I will be King and then you will rule, this is for your future!” he said shoving her back before ray shielding engaged to keep her out of the fight.

He looked over his shoulder and turned stepping brutally on Joran with a heavy metallic boot. “You stand before King Bouris Ulgo, kneel.” He put the helmet in place.

[Cue the Boss music]

"No!" Omandri cried out as Bouris crushed the prince "You megalomanic! You're tearing the planet apart!" He held his shield up ready to try and save the Prince.

Layne and her padawan arrived in style; although Tyche was forced to swat away some still burning embers. Jerri was also there for some reason; she hadn't heard his chastisement during all the running and fire and what not. Both of the Jedi had their lightsabers out, not yet ignited but ready to save the day.

"Oh!" Layne smirked, "Hello there! Hope we didn't interrupt anything."

Tyche looked at Layne with the same dubious look she'd given when Layne said she didn't like giving speeches, back on Delaya.

"What?" Layne looked back at her. "Catch phrases are important."

The Honor Guard took up a defensive position near his King and fired on the padawan with the foul mouth buying time for their allies to engage the enemies.

OOC: Honor Guard #1 stays engaged with the King and grants Body Guard 2 for 2 strain. They leveled their blaster rifle and fired at the Padawan, because why not. Missed grant next ally a boost die and recover 1 strain, 1 strain taken.

They are at Medium to each other.

Layne:

Layne rushed forward, igniting the darksaber; its high-pitched whine and black blade so different from that of other Jedi; possibly suggesting to them that they had made a severe mistake by engaging in these actions today. Without any regard for her own safety, she engaged the so called 'king' and his bodyguard in battle... her shii-cho style unpredictable, a whirlwind of potential death and dismemberment.

Tyche:

Tyche followed shortly behind her master; igniting her own lightsaber which was a more traditional blue color. Seeing how her master was engaged in some *serious* combat though, she decided it was a little too heavy for her. She'd probably just get in her master's way, after all. So she circled the fighters... and let loose an attack of a different sort!

"...who the hell are you anyway, old dude?"

It was super effective.

The Honor Guard took the blow for the King, but was still standing... his injuries grievous but he would live. The other Honor Guard fired with deadly accuracy on Tyche, enough of that dirty mouth.

Watching Knight Hoshin charge at Bouris Ulgo and attack, Jocasta screams out, "You can do it, cut that fucking traitor's head OFF!"

She then unholstered her Lancer and ducked behind cover, waiting for an opening to take her shot.

Omandri saw Layne engage the Duke and saw the guard take her attack he looked at the one who shot the Palawan and rushed in.

Omandri struck confidently aiming for weak spots in the armor which usually happened to be weak points on the human body. Neck, joints, ect his hand lashed out viciously striking the guard.

The Honor Guard was reeling from the attack as the King decided who needed what first. Omandri had proven himself just as dangerous so the king kicked his weapon up to hands and struck.

King Bouris did not have time for this, his blade in hand he stepped towards Omandri leading with a vicious kick and then the pommel to the skull, he spun bashing him with his shield before he stabbed the blade into Omandri and said, “Pathetic, I promised your sister I would spare you. Don’t make me break that promise.”

OOC: Frenzied Attack 2 used by the King, Aim for 2 strain after picking up his weapon. Total of 3 Successes and 5 Advantage, 1 to Critical Injury, 2 more to increase by +20, 2 to recover strain from Frenzied Attack for 13 wounds pierce 3.
