The Panteer family was in attendance to cheer on their mother and Joran, though despite his bravado he was not expected to best his mother. The crowds were thick and people were excited to see the race live and on the large screens, and even a holo representation to follow the race.

Durasay himself was not one for riding. Frankly, he had zero desire to risk falling from one of the graceful creatures. But he was one who did like to watch competition. And so he did, alternating between the viewscreens that zoomed in on the action, and the stretch of race before the stands.

Niall was not taking part in the race, however he was watching it.

Or so it seemed. He looked around, frowning anxiously. As usual, he was dressed in his full formal garb, but his hand patted a holster that he wasn't wearing.

By chance she came across a similar spot in the crowd to Niall and nodded a silent greeting while watching people in the crowd rather than the event itself.

"Major." Niall returned the nod.

He stepped a little closer. "Keep an eye out." He murmured. "There's been trouble most days. I expect we'll see more today."

She nodded, “And very few ways to deal with it because of this security…”

Breela turned up to the race, but her mind was in another place altogether. She sits and watches with minimum curiosity.

OOC: PM if approached

Jameela cheered for her family and friends, shouting loudly for her mother especially but giving rousing cheers for her friends in Lana and Galen. Her brother especially got a cheerful wave for his wonderful performance.

Gil joined the small crowd of onlookers, clapping and cheering polietly as people he knew finished. There were some rather impressive racers among those here, and it was fun to get a chance to watch.

Aly sat next to her husband, her hand effortlessly leaning towards her saber. Otherwise, she held a smile to the audience, seemingly unconcerned with...stuff.

Gaul cheered on his family and even gave a good Panteer cheer for when Jedi Knight Ulgo and her exhausted thranta finally arrived.

"Still." Niall said, nodding again. "We'll be ready."

Smiling he nodded to Aly. "You remember my wife, Alysele? And Aly, you've meet Major Delmi Koor?"

Delmi shook her head.

“Don’t think properly… unless I’m forgetting.”

Bran Ulgo had seen to there being a solid cheering section for his cousins' efforts, and he was wearing good Ulgo colors himself in solidarity (but nothing fancy or heavy), but he had wandered away from the raucous Ulgo section to see if he might sit with, or at least near, the royals who weren't racing. He would raise a hand in greeting to Jameela or Gaul, whichever looked his way first, and hand signal the question of joining them.

Gaul approached and said, "Brannis Ulgo, I would have expected the famous war hero to be riding to victory. Your constituents would have loved that image."

Gil Clapped polietly as Kellen finally crossed the finished line. He hadn't done exceptionally well, but he hadn't broken his neck either and sometimes that was all you could really ask for.

"Your Highness," Bran says, bowing his head in greeting. He straightened and had a warm smile on his face. "I think my staff said almost exactly the same thing. I had to convince them that not every part of festival is a holo OP that needs to be staked out. Though of course they're here, taking 'candids' whenever I'm close enough to anyone for long enough." He chuckles and shakes his head. "All part of life in the public eye."

"The public is always demanding, so I understand," he said warmly.
