A well-packaged mystery (D3 ME closed)

It had been a long and kinda weird day, and it wasn't going to get any better it seems. Azura has never claimed to be smart, but it never seemed to strike her that the black market might operate out of the spaceport - although in hindsight it was so obvious she felt pretty stupid.

Following the directions brought her to this....diner. She'd seen it from time to time, but never really considered going near the place. Stir fry wasn't exactly exciting after all.

I'm gonna have to kriffin' order something ain't I? Ugh.

She slips in, gauging how busy it was as she looked for someone who likely worked there.

The droid chef greeted her and said, "Can I offer you the daily special or the manager's special?"

The managers special sounds super dodgy...

She leaned on the side.

"Howdy. I'm hearin' great things about the Manager's special, friend, think I can get a look?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Who told you about the manager's special friend?" the droid responded.

[Azura Mora]

"A mutual friend of ours who I've worked with called Ghoun. Speaks very well in fact of it" Azura said with a smile

"Try the curry it is fantastic," the droid offered before gesturing with one of it's limbs toward the side kitchen door.

"Oh I shall, thank you" Azura said with a nod as she slipped by and went through the side kitchen door.

[Dapper Dog]

Beyond the door she found her self staring at the lower chest of an armed wookiee. He stared down at her and then stepped aside for her to see the rest of the black market.

Wow. Suddenly Jax's chest seems less hairy.

Giving the large Wookie a nod, she made her way further in and looked around. Stopping every now and again to see what was there.

"Sssso Ghoun finally sends sssomeone? Where is Ulmo Visssss and where issss my money?" female sentient said as she approached flanked by large trandoshan goons.

[Azura Mora]

"Is the general assumption every time someone speaks to me goin' to be 'oh it's her, she has something for me'?" Azura muttered with a roll of her eyes as she turned to look at the woman.

"Who the kriff is Ulmo Viss? Ghoun's not right happy about someone failing to deliver somethin', an' I'm gonna take a wild guess and say you're not happy because of someone failin' to deliver something. Likely the same person I'm not happy with, an' Ghoun ain't happy with. You Janeq Bu?"

"Yesssss, and by that talk it meanssss you don't have my credssss or Vissss," she responded.

[Azura Mora]

"I do not. I got a funny feelin' that this Viss is somehow involved with Ghoun's delivery that hasn't turned up" Azura frowned "why are you expectin' Viss or Credits from Ghoun?"

She peered up at the heavies.

"Got somewhere we can talk?"

She leads her to a cramped office filled with contraband and took a seat. She said, "Vissss issss, or wassss, my person to get me interesssssting relicsss from people who didn't need them anymore."

"I am guessssing Ghoun paid Visss to lift something from the Mussssseum to get it to him and Visssss owes me credsssss for doing work on my terf."

[Azura Mora]

"So Ghoun paid Viss to get somethin', and that was supposed to go to me. He pays you for your turf. Instead he's vanished with this item, plus Ghouns creds, plus yours, an' we're all trying to find out where the kriss he is."

Azura frowned more.

"It's never easy is it. What was he liftin'?"

[Dapper Dog]

"An old hisssstorical vassssse, from the old dayssss on Alderaan," she said with a shrug.

"Don't care, just want my credssss."

[Azura Mora]

"That makes two of us. Can't get it without him though, and Ghoun seemed to believe you'd have an idea where to find this kriffin' thief."

There was a pause, before she added "also thinks this Verash Organa is involved."

“We have done bussssines with her before… sssshe and Ghoun… don’t get along. Another of Ghoun’ssss goonssss calling himsssself Elijah wasssss here. Did my homework he’ssss a professssssor at the Musssseum asssked a lot of the sssssame quesssssstionssss,” she responded.


She brought up an image, “Guessssing he might know ssssomething.”

"Yeah, bet he's lookin' for the vase too so he can return it home. Wonderful."

Azura sighed.

"Guess I'll have to go find the nice professor and play a nice game with 'im. Thank you for yer help. I'll do my best to get this coward thief back t'you so you can beat the credits out of him."

[Dapper Dog]

"Pleasssse do, I'll throw in a finder'ssss fee," she said with a smile.
