[Day 3 - LA] Huttball Exhibition Games Observation

[Azura Mora]

Azura had no interest playing Huttball. She did however fancy watching, so in the stands she was watching it happen, and totally resisting laughing when one of the nobles lost their food all over them tripping over someone else.

[Dapper Dog]

"That's alright sir, these things happen." he chuckled. "Can I get you another dog?"

"Why thank you, and again apologies," he said looking quite flustered.

[Galen Sol]

"I've endured far worse." he smiled. Navi poked his head out of one of Galen's soaked pockets. "We should go get cleaned up, regardless, and there's no need for you to go back to the concessions, if I'll be going that way. I'll be back soon."

"Excuse me ladies, I hope we can talk more." He stood and addressed the queen and he princess before making his way out of the seats, careful not to get any of the mess on any of the other spectators

Meanwhile Daz was out getting the most whizz footage of the games with mini camera drones he had constructed for the task.

He was not going to let his fame get to him, even if he did have designer shades and wearing a Jedi Princess shirt. He was still humble.

Hydro-Gucci, hydro-Gucci.

If Galen is returning a mini cam droid starts following him.

There wasn't much he could do to clean his shirt. He bought a festival souvenir tank top to wear instead and soon returned with a drink and a dog. Navi rode on his shoulder, looping his tail through Galen's new shirt.

After offering the food to the noble, he returned to his seat. When he saw the camera, he gave it a wave. Without sleeves, the scars covering his forearms were very visible.

A young man with shades approached and said, "Hey... you must be the big hunter guy, Galen Sol got a few minutes to chat for my fellow padawans?"

[Galen Sol]

"Sure." he shrugged. "Navi loves your holos."

The small creature seemed to smile.

[Dapper Dog]

Daz smiled and turned on the selfie light for Galen and then said, “So for the crew in the holonet world, can you state your name and why you are? Oh sweet and what is your little buddy?

[Galen Sol]

"This is Navi." He held his hand up to the camera, while the creature hung from his thumb.



"He's a puckmaren from Binpuka Minor. Tragically, a comet collided with the planet shortly after I found him. We're pretty much all each of us has. I don't have any family either."

"My name is Galen Sol. I'm a hunter. I hunt for creatures that have become disruptive to the local habitat and remove them."

[Dapper Dog]

"That's whizz, so can you tell us about one of your more awesome hunts, Galen?" he asked.

[Galen Sol]

He sat back and thought for a moment.

"I used to capture exotic animals for private collectors. It's good money and a good challenge, but can be pretty dangerous. And, unfortunately,, those collectors don't always treat the animals right. One client wanted an umbra bear-spider. They're a houk sized spider, with a lean muscular body and a sharp, powerful bite, all covered in fur as black as deepest space."

He set Navi back on his shoulder and made a series of gestures, spreading his arms wide, then dangling eight of his fingers.

"So, I found an appropriate dark forest and searched for its web. Hunting and trapping isn't exciting, most of the time. You find where a creature's been and you wait for it to return. I found a web, and there were a few birds and other things caught in it. That was good, it meant it would come back soon."

"But, I didn't see it come back. That fur is really dark and almost impossible to see at night. And, it masks its body heat. I could sense it approaching me, though. I fired a stun bolt, but it was still coming. It shrugged off shot after shot, skittering closer and closer. It was literally right on top of me when it finally fell. Pulling myself out from under it wasn't easy."

"After I secured it and got it ready for transport, I looked over its web. That's where I found this little guy."

He lifted Navi up for the camera again.

[Dapper Dog]

"Whizz."

He cleared his throat and said, "So yeah... wow, you uhh... courting the Princess?"

[Galen Sol]

He laughed nervously. "I'm, um, not the right kind of noble for that. But, I do admire her."

[Dapper Dog]

"Well good luck, Galen," he responded.

"That's all I got, that was a great story."

[Galen Sol]

"No problem." he shrugged. "Make Navi a star. He'll love it."

[Delmi Koor]

After finishing her match Delmi took a quick trip to the refresher and cleaned herself up before finding her way into the stands.

Matches continued on as she caught her breath and ordered a drink.

With the interview over, Galen watched the games for a bit. He couldn't help but look over at Jameela, however.

"Princess? If you'd indulge my curiosity, what kind of games do you prefer?"

[Jameela Panteer]

Jameela replied, "Definitely not this. Maybe a strategy game or something with an artistic touch?"

"Like Shah-tezh? I played that a few times with the man who raised me." he said. "I've always liked games of skill, like the ones on the fair grounds, even the ones you can't win. It's like I get to be a kid."
