TEAM DISASTER WINS WITH AN ASTOUNDINGLY WIDE MARGIN!

Commentators are abuzz over the spectacular play, and the audience cheers loudly, especially the non-Thul members.

"Wow." Kat laughed, wiping sweat from her brow. "That was... a lot of fun, actually. Really, that was great. Well played, everyone!"

[Riss]

When the game was over, Riss quickly finds herself falling to knees and then rolling over onto the floor. Arms crossing over in an attempt to discretely cradle her chest, "Too much running. Everything hurts," and she very much plans on laying there in the grass for a little while unless anyone comes to retrieve her.

[Dapper Dog]

Gaul gestured for a droid to bring him wine and said, "Have to stay hydrated."

[Riss]

One arm goes up from the pile of Riss laying in the grass, "Can that be two?"

[Dapper Dog]

"It can be as many as you like," he responded.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"Come on you big baby," Kat teased with a laugh as she extended her hands to Riss to help her up.

Wow. Riss and Gaul both looked... quite flushed and sweaty after all this activity. "... I'll have something to drink too. To celebrate. We did win, after all."

[Cynella Andrim]

"You know, this is exactly why I take those morning runs." Cynella poked her belly, wondering if she was still looking totally slim. "Shouldn't we be drinking water instead though to rehydrate?"

[Dapper Dog]

Gaul just drank more wine.

[Riss]

"I dunno," she extends her hands toward Kat, taking hold with a pre-emptive groan. One that only got louder and more dissatisfied as she was actually lifted, "I can ask for a lot," she says, her voice a bit pained as she finds herself back on her feet. Flashing a slightly strained grin to Kat, a nod of thanks. Riss' arms cross under her chest and she rests them there, deciding to just huddle like that a little for a bit.

[Desilijic Keyhote]

"Yes, now I am remembering why Huttball is such a wonderful past time. And you all did extremely well despite your small size and legs!"
Keyhote is not shy about ordering and drinking the wine going around, it was the beverage of a noble knight after all.

"May our bonds as a team only serve to build ever more love around us....Hmmm...Loveball, now there's an idea."

Whew, now that was a game. Aurilie would slowly shuffle over to where their hastily made team was gathered with her hands on her hips. She passively catching her breath and feeling her share of aches everywhere. It did make her realize that she could stand to do more running and up her cardio, especially if she was going to be in a situation where she had to chance down her game on her feet...or potentially run away from them. She did get a bit of dirt and mud on her, which she would take as proud battle scars for her match. Considering how well she did, she could consider doing more huttball in the future maybe.

She pushed some hair from her eyes and raised her brows at the abundance of wine flowing at the end of the game. Well, she would have preferred tea but she wasn't going to say no to a victory toast. "Well done, everyone. To Team Disaster!"

Tilting her head, she looked over to Ser Keyhote. "Loveball?" She probably shouldn't have asked.

[Cynella Andrim]

"Why in the stars is it called Team Disaster?" Cynella asked. In the meantime, she began to stretch out in long, deep holds. "Best to do this before imbibing in anything. Don't want to forget!"

As she settled into the splits, she glanced over to Keyhote. "Would this Loveball have a different rule set then?" No pulling back now.

Tilting her head, she looked over to Ser Keyhote. "Loveball?" She probably shouldn't have asked.

"It would require teams whose members truly loved and cared for one another. The competition would have to be fierce, perhaps even more so, but think of the love rising to meet it! And of course they could play to raise money for worthy causes...maybe make the ball I giant heart..."

[Riss]

"That sounds like an entirely different activity big guy," she laughs through the bit of pain. Finally coming out of her little moment a bit.

[Aurilie Alde]

"It does sound like a strange avenue for a lot of different emotions to be funnelled into a competition. But if it's for a good cause, I don't think anyone can really fault it. I'm getting the bitting feeling that this has been done in a movie or holonet show somewhere as a premise..." she murmured in thought.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"Playing for charity? I like the sound of that." Kat had gotten some water to go with the celebration wine, and was hydrating herself properly.

She gave Cynella a nod. "Quite the play, my lady. Have you played the game before?"

[Cynella Andrim]

Team Disaster... we have a Jedi among us! Certainly not suitable in the least.

"I'm inclined to agree with Riss here, crude as her thoughts often are," Cynella said with a wink. "I think the bonds between players are enough to not require an entirely separate game." As she leaned forward into her splits, she grunted from the exertion. "Ah! Maybe the ball could have the heart on it, though!"

When she released the hold, she glanced up at the Jedi. "Oh, hello. I wasn't sure if you wanted to speak to me, to be honest." A small smile. "You got distracted yesterday, though I admit, the bodyguard is indeed quite handsome. Ah but I didn't answer your question: no, actually. I think other forms of exercise gave me transferrable skills. I didn't perform anything nearly as impressive as your swooping though."

She was inclined to agree with that crowd member who'd said such things were... bad.

Oh, she had messed up during that social event yesterday? Kriff-biscuits.

"My apologies. I admit I was a bit overwhelmed with all that was going on, but I should have given more attention to you, my lady." Kat crossed her arm over her chest, so that her hand lightly touched the shoulder as she bowed.

"As for the team name... Not my idea, though Riss mispelled it on the form she gave to me to hand in, so I corrected it." She chuckled lightly. "I find the name amusing, since you can intepret it as either us being a disaster of a team, or us bringing the disaster to the opposing team."

[Cynella Andrim]

Cynella eased herself to her feet so she could return the bow, the Captain Alderaan way. "It's no trouble. I had assumed it was because I'm a rival of your cousin to wed the royal prince."

She resumed stretching afterwards. "Oh? I suppose it could be like Havoc Squad... No, that's not quite right either. We could have been, like, Team Hurricane instead!"

"More certainly bringing the disaster to the opposing them." Aurilie was quick to comment on the interpretation of their team name, taking a sip of wine afterwards. "Team Hurricane does have a nice ring to it but Team Disaster does invite more questions as a conversation starter. It does have that slight mystique about it."
