[Day 3 - LA] Huttball Exhibition Games Observation

[Azura Mora]

After finishing her match Delmi took a quick trip to the refresher and cleaned herself up before finding her way into the stands.

Matches continued on as she caught her breath and ordered a drink.

"Ey, good job out there" Azura offered from her position, feet up on the chairs in front of her and some snacks in her hands

"Like Shah-tezh? I played that a few times with the man who raised me." he said. "I've always liked games of skill, like the ones on the fair grounds, even the ones you can't win. It's like I get to be a kid."

"I am not familiar wit that game," she responded.

[Delmi Koor]

"Ey, good job out there" Azura offered from her position, feet up on the chairs in front of her and some snacks in her hands

“Thanks. It was a bit hard playing a woman down… but we had some fun.”

She looked back at Azura, “You not takin’ part?”

"Shah-tezh? It's a very old form of chess or dejarik." he explained. "Janus said it was a purer form of strategy."

"He was the man who raised me." he answered, with brief hesitation. "I learned how to hunt from him."

"He was not your father then, or birth parent?" she asked.

"No." he shook his head. There was a longer pause. "He owned me."

Jameela frowned and said excitedly, "A slaver! What a bastard!"

"He's no longer a threat to anyone princess." He assured her. "And, I've grown beyond what I was."

[Azura Mora]

“Thanks. It was a bit hard playing a woman down… but we had some fun.”

She looked back at Azura, “You not takin’ part?”

"Nah, had my action earlier saving prince whateverhisnameis" Azura chuckled "an' I don't fancy playin' a game that might make me want to kill someone again. Still, it's fun to watch at least. No idea who the pink princess was on yer team but she needs a bit o'muscle to go into a game like huttball right? Recken' she'll be bedbound rest of the day, maybe even the festival."

She had no real reply for that implication and just sat there a bit stunned.

Finally she said, "What happened to him?"

She had no real reply for that implication and just sat there a bit stunned.

Finally she said, "What happened to him?"

"That story will require a larger explanation of my childhood." he replied. "One that would likely be better told in another place. I don't mind sharing it with you, but I would prefer it if we were somewhere else."

After wrapping up Team Disaster's thrilling match, Kat sat down with a bottle of water to hydrate herself. She looked a bit flustered and sweaty from the game, but otherwise seemed to be in a good mood.

OOC: Marking for Affection all male suitors who participated in the Actual Huttball, Jameela really didn't like that. Joran liked that for female suitors.

“She gave it her best shot I guess. And got a lesson in ‘Love is a battlefield’ class.” She said with a chuckle.

“How’s your day today… after yesterday? Not too worse for wear I hope?”

"Might not be so pretty after this battlefield either" Azura said with a nod, although she began to frown.

"Eh, I'm ok. Problem though, there was a Jedi pokin' around in the aftermath this morning who wanted to save all the bugs and calling it Jedi business now. Even trying to declare Thul and Syrushs dealings void an' completed an' stuff with no authority. Suspect she's gonna make a big stink about the whole thing, I'd almost think she was a joiner herself. That thing you guys set up really did a number on them bugs though, basically tortured all of 'em. It was a pretty awful sight to see."

She didn't press and said, "Of course Galen, I understand."

Delmi nodded, “Some Jedi talk a big game and think themselves self-important enough to claim authority over stuff they don’t… All sorts of shapes and sizes of Jedi in the galaxy.”

She shrugged, “Wasn’t meaning to fry their brains, but it got the job done. People are safe. That hive won’t be bodysnatching any time soon. I take that as a win personally.”
