Alderaan - Love and Intrigue

The Huttball fields are setup to be a one big mud pit, it’s unclear how this tradition got started but local Alderaanians love it, especially the common folk because you get to throw mud and wrestle with nobility who are obliged to join and have a muddy good time.

Some people wrestle, others slide around on the slick mud, while others engage in battles of mudslinging!

OOC: Free form role play in the mud, the mud provides a setback due to slippery nature; one can engage in a Brawl (Brawn) at Average to wrestle with someone, Ranged Light (Agility) to mud sling, or Coordination (Agility) or Athletics (Brawn) to do fun tricks or slide around on the slick mud.

Galen wasn't sure what this was all about. But, it seemed like it might be fun.

Kat made sure to take part. Not only because it would be fun to engage in something silly as mud-wrestling, but because she felt it important to show that she as a Jedi wasn't above this either.

No one was above the almighty mud.

Using Light Pip to cancel Threat. Kat's just all around trying to make things as fun as possible for her opponents.

Aurilie was here to engaged in some mud wrestling and make a mess of things. There wasn't exactly a fashion made for this sort of sport but she did wear something similar to a short-leg wetsuit that she probably had reserved for aquatic-based hunts. It didn't see much actual use in her hunts, seeing that it limited her choice of weaponry, but it would make great use here at least.

She did find herself perhaps unwilling to sling mud, perhaps some concern that it might lead to doing so in a verbal sense. Instead, she merely stuck to slipping and sliding, dodging out of the way of some attacks. Boldly, she charged forward in between two assailants and did a small tumble to earn some mud on her hair before making her getaway.

Just out of frame, Layne took a running leap... the vibe changed... and she entered frame in a pose that seemed impossible to hold as she slid a seemingly impossible seeming distance. Once she slid out of frame, she did the same thing again... different impossible pose. And another. And so on.

She looked totally badass... but more importantly she looked to be having fun.

"Oh dear! Are you alright?" Kat, being Kat, of course stopped to check that the princess was aright and help her back up. Which would give her or anyone else a free opportunity at dirtying the Jedi further with mud.

Layne has many onlookers awed by her performance, though she has stiff competition from the Prince.

Well, if that was the case, she might have to *fight* the Prince. Sliding across the mud like she was an olympic figure skater, she adopted a 'fighting' pose when she slid into his field of view. As if to give him the opportunity to rise to or decline the challenge.

The Count decided to honour local customs, in his beachwear. Alas, the details of how to do it right were muddy for him.

Niall was perfectly happy with playing in the mud for the entertainment of others. Unfortunately, for him, this involved a lot of falling, and the Major was quickly muddy from head to toe.

Still, he fell with good (social) grace, and his cheerful smile kept everyone having a good time.

Breela had been looking forward to this since she read about it a few days ago. But today she wasn't feeling herself, and the force wasn't with her. Still she managed to stay upright which was more than most.

Threats go to boosts for next player that targets her with brawl or ranged.

It was a Museum double whammy as Professor Kellen Rist took on Dr Pimbo Boxy and the general public piled in. All it needed was some amusing cartoon sound effects. Kellen took great delight in suplexing the gungan into the mud, receiving a face full of dirt for his efforts. He was calling himself the Sandwich Avenger, while Pimbo had gamely taken on the persona of The Breakroom Bandit. Round 2 was a touch more civilized with Kellen having gotten the killing out of his system the night before. By the end everyone was laughing and clearly having a great time.

Gil was getting the worse of it in his mud wrestling match, Having been slammed into the mud by his opponent. It true wrestling fashion though he was playing it up and planing to come for a rematch. Or maybe just change tactics? It was hard to say with how chaotic things were.

"Ah, Captain Alderaan! You need to do it like... this!" Cynella spun around one time to be sure she had the space to not kick anyone with her actual foot or mud. Then, she kicked up high, landing backwards into a handstand before doing a softened landing in the pit.

Keyhote gracefully slides through the mud on his back, eyes closed and humming quietly as a bow wave of the stuff seems to break all around him. Sando runs on the Hutt's belly reading a book, the two seem quite content in a slug person's natural habitat.

A scholar and his loyal wolfie show up fashionably late for the party in the mud, and start.... moving?

It looks almost like it was supposed to be a dance... But out of synch, slushing mud all around, both getting mired down at times, going even more off-rhythm. And off-balance. At one point, Blai tries to spin around with the wolf, stumbles, falls head first with a splosh, a dizzy Elur soon tripping on his head and diving into the mud as well, ending up above him.

Very unacademic, not especially alluring... but the easy laugh on both man and beast's faces left no doubt that they were both having fun!

A barrel-roll, that'd be a good trick! Wearing a flight training bodysuit in House Girard red, she made a run for it to jump out and hopefully land on her feet as well. She'd spin past the attractive woman in the wetsuit to impress her and maybe get an in with her!

She didn't launch as far out of the mud as she would have liked though and ended up sliding past face down in front of the woman instead. Though there were two fortunate side effects of this, neither of which Arsele realized;
1) Her hair stayed out of the mud and looked impeccable, definitely a win.
and
2) She caught ahold of Aurlie's wetsuit to keep from sliding into the wall at such speed on the slippery mud, even if it meant giving the woman a bit of a wedgie.
