The stadium seating around the mud pit has some observers including the Prince who shakes his head at the silliness while enjoying his kaff. Others are observing but the majority are down in the mud pits fighting the greatest mud war this world has ever seen, until the next Festival.

Surprised to see the Prince in the stands observing rather than down in the mud, Jocasta made her way to his seat, dressed in old BDUs she didn't mind getting muddy and her hair up in a ponytail. She wouldn't win any fashion contests this morning.

"Prince Joran, I'm surprised to see you as a bystander for the festivities, I thought this would be your kind of thing."

"Not at all, why would I care to get muddy unless I am in the field or hunting," he said disdainfully.

"This is just silliness."

"So you'll only get involved for higher stakes, fair enough. Although, I do find that a little bit of silliness is good for troop morale.

I heard you had a bit of excitement last night at the parade."

“I agree, but I am a Panteer, we are expected to hold a certain level of dignity at all times. Not all of us agree, but I take that seriously. I would expect the same of any future wife,” he said confidently.

“Separatist zealots hatched a foolish plot which was dismantled by local Jedi and security forces. I would not call it excitement, that gives it too much credence.”

"Of course, the public image is a very important for the Royal Family."

Jocasta looked around to make sure no one was listening in to their conversation. "About last night, it does seem rather convenient that two prominent members of House Ulgo were there to thwart the haphazard plan of another Ulgo. I don't know this Jedi, Katarzyna, but I spoke with Senator Brannis a few days ago and he was defending the same protestors that attacked you. I asked him point blank if he thought Duke Ulgo needed to replace the Queen and he dodged the question."

"I am not surprised that an Ulgo would find that a hard question to answer," he said in agreement.

"Well, I wouldn't want such a man getting so close to my sister."

She looked around again and lowered her voice. "I don't want to lie to you. I've been working with Maj. Koor to try and stop these separatists. One of them was a trooper who used to serve under me, the Ulgo that was arrested last night.

We're still trying to get all the information, but it's obvious people are being manipulated. I have to look at who benefits. Maybe the young Senator who's vying for the Princess's hand in marriage and comes to the rescue?

And I find it odd that only one person was injured. Surely the separatists desperate enough to stage such a public attack with serious weaponry fought back. How exactly did the Ulgos subdue them? They didn't just scold them into surrendering did they?"

“I don’t know, maybe they were scared of facing a Jedi Knight,” he responded.

"The man I've been investigating, Julio Ulgo, he was ready to face down a Sith, he fought against the Empire. I doubt they just laid down their guns because a Jedi showed up. All I'm saying is there's more going on than we can see and that I don't trust any of the Ulgos right now, especially that one." She points onto the field where Brannis has just thrown mud at Jameela, was tackled by her in return, and then tried to return the tackle but failed. "What kind of a man goes onto a field of play and pits himself physically against a woman like that?"

Joran chuckled and said, "Jameela hates being coddled, all the men trying to protect her are probably just annoying her."

"Really, she didn't seem the type to... Oh wow, she is really getting into it!" Jocasta exclaims as Princess Jameela declares herself the Mud Queen.

"I apologize if I'm being overly aggressive about certain people's loyalties. I've been worrying about these protestors and my trooper's involvement with them and everything going on. Let me make it up to you. How about we go on a hunt tomorrow. We can do it for dinner after the race, cook what we kill?"

"Sure that sounds fine," he said agreeably.

OOC: Jocasta, Joran liked that. Brannis, Jameela really did not like that.
