She smiles, "You're fighting for a species that few would fight for willingly. That empathy is laudable. But you're likely going to collect enemies by the dozen. Be careful."

Now that I think about it. "What is your interest in the Killiks? Is it purely fascination, or is there something you want to get from them?"

''Mmmh''

The togruta thought for a second

''At first I was mostly interested at their hive's architecture and general structure but the more I studied the more I became aware of the situation...I always thought of them as any other sentients but I was worried they might get used as pawns in the conflict between the houses.''

She sips

''At this point I just want to help create a better environment for both Killiks and Humans. Once we are underway we can begin forging proper relations and customs with them.''

[Breela Po]

She turns the computer back off and begins dismantling it. "What like diplomatically? I wasn't aware that was an option. But then I don't really know that much about them beyond the fact that they are hive minded and sentient." She starts coiling the wires. "I suppose that's a good thing. Killik's might prove useful allies when the Sith break the peace."

''And against unseen threats'' she adds ''When I got my vision about the Star Cabal...I...think I understood that there was something else out there.''

She put down her cup

''I want to be ready should it come to pass''

"Then we will keep fostering good relations." Breela agrees absently, all the while moving equipment into boxes. "Just be careful. The order needs out of the box thinkers more so than the Killik's do." She jokes, knowing that Baesal is taking every necessary precaution in her pursuits.

She stops for a moment and sighs, "When I was your age I'd already lived my entire life at war. I want this peace to last, but I know it won't. And unless we learn to avert our eyes from the atrocities on the other side of the curtain - it can't." She tapes up another box. "So for now, we'll be vigilant, and we'll be cunning. We'll continue to gain unexpected allies, and shore up our skills and our defenses. And we'll be ready." She moves the box over with the others then smiles, "In short, I believe in you."
