"I wouldn't be surprised if they've rebuilt the senator offices fairly quickly to get things moving again... I haven't been there since the attack." Coruscant did always prioritise bureaucracy over anything else. "But yeah, I can relate to the feeling of not having enough time to do all that needs to be done. I was supposed to be here on leave, on Alderaan, but I've been dragged into all sorts of things instead."

Kat shook her head with an amused chuckle. "Even on my vacation I'm working. But I've you to thank for some moments like this, where I get to have the chance to just enjoy myself and the Festival.

"What work are you doing?" he asked.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"Helping take out that Black Tooth creature in the desert, keeping the peace, uncovering intrigues? All in a week's work for someone who is supposed to be on leave," she said with a dry chuckle.

"I'm not sure if you want me to turn this conversation serious for a minute, but... there is a lot going on."

[Dapper Dog]

"It's your vacation, master Jedi, I mean Kat, so I won't press," he responded.

Kat was obviously thinking it through. In the end, the duty to do what was right was more important than her own needs.

"Would you believe me if I told you that there are outside influences who are trying to push Alderaan into a civil war? And that these outside influences have agents in the noble Houses to work as instigators?"

[Dapper Dog]

"I would though there are constant outside influences on Alderaan, politically, socially, economic... it's one of the most influential worlds in the Republic. But you know that, so this seems like a more specific thing?" he responded.

"More specific, yes."

Well, here it goes, she thought. Confident that Gaul was someone she could trust as he would want to protect Alderaan and his family too.

"I do not have any solid proof of what I am saying, but there is a group currently active on Alderaan and the rest of its system right now that wishes to push Alderaan into a civil war. And weaken the Republic and the Jedi Order in the process. They are the ones behind manipulating and riling up the protesters, and are spreading misinformation to them and among the Houses to further drive a wedge between them, fanning the flames that's already there."

"As I said, I have no proof to prove it, but many others can confirn what I've said, including Major Niall Organa, and Major Delmi Koor of Havoc Squad. She from what I understand has been in direct contact with this group recently, hence the... video that was leaked this morning."

“Well… that’s a lot to consider. I mean that makes anything shared between the Houses suspect,” he said closing his eyes.

“How do we know if anything is true? This is not good, if it’s true. We are already dealing with the fallout from the attempted plot… or not attempted by Thul... maybe Rist?”

“Kriff, this is a bad situation, and you have faith in your sources?”

"I do, your highness," she said, defaulting to formality with the seriousness of the conversation.

"It does make it hard to know what and who to trust, but one of the ways we can defeat this is for the houses to work closer together and begin to trust eacho more."

She fully sympathised that it was a lot to take in. "If you wish, I can compile all the information we currently have and have it delivered to you in person tomorrow."

[Dapper Dog]

"That would be good, because... I don't know it gives me some caution, the current strained relations between us and our allies in Thul could be part of this or it could be genuine," he said with a frown.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"It's certainly looking that way. I know Riss was asked to pass on something to your family, which she did on behalf of someone else who would save her and her brother from an assassination-contract."

Kat sighed. "And then House Thul was put in house arrest the following day. So I assume that was done because of the information she gave."

It was all a lot.

"I will speak more with the others to get as much of a clear report put together. I want you and your family to be safe, and for Alderaan to be safe too... so I'm at your service to see that happen."

[Dapper Dog]

"Yes she did, she gave it to me and I brought it to Joran... and from there well, you know," he responded.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"Yeah..." Kat realised she would have to talk to Riss. Before she got too involved in this very dangerous man, and possibly ended up in danger.

"Sorry. I completely derailed this conversation... I had hoped to relax with you and enjoy this wine, but I suppose it's true what some say about me that I have a hard time not focusing on other matters, and just... enjoy myself."

[Dapper Dog]

"It comes with our jobs, business and pleasure are too close together." He shrugged and said, "It's been good thus far at least."

He relaxed but was distracted with that information before they parted ways.
