Day 5 [LA] Convalescence From The Good Airs (Closed)

"Well, we're still somewhere in the early stages of the relationship and we did have a date, maybe some unofficial ones before that." She admitted, probably in her defence. "But, yes, this simping thing sounds like a purgatory of sorts. I suppose it's unavoidable in some cases as relationships are complex things. People are allowed to have opinions of their own and sometimes even the relationship takes a life of its own. It's probably best to be aware, at least."

"A purgatory! Ha! Well said, I will use that I think. An unenviable place to be trapped no doubt."
Keyhote ponders simp purgatory for a few moments before shaking his head to clear it.
"But enough of simping! Perhaps we can talk politics? I can confess I have been so focused on my quest I have paid little attention to any of the happenings behind the scenes. Is there anything new?"

Keyhote ponders simp purgatory for a few moments before shaking his head to clear it.
"But enough of simping! Perhaps we can talk politics? I can confess I have been so focused on my quest I have paid little attention to any of the happenings behind the scenes. Is there anything new?"

Aurilie looked up for a moment in consideration and sighed softly. "That is a very good question, my friend. I confess that I've found myself perhaps consumed with a lot of the hunt and casual socializing that I might have missed the larger picture when it comes to what is happening behind the scenes, even the politics of it all. Suddenly, the analogy of the haggard huntress returning to society seems more apt than ever."

She scoffed and shook her head, not wanting to dwell on it too long. "I know the twins might be starting to see suitors more privately, well in a gather of suitors only, so that must only mean that they are closing in on their choices. I'm sure that later they might be seeing them on an individual basis, hopefully without the hawk-like supervision of all of their family."

Aurilie looked up for a moment in consideration and sighed softly. "That is a very good question, my friend. I confess that I've found myself perhaps consumed with a lot of the hunt and casual socializing that I might have missed the larger picture when it comes to what is happening behind the scenes, even the politics of it all. Nodding seriously
"I am sure if the the scheming ever reaches a crescendo we will be informed and ready to act! Perhaps it will be when the twins choose? Although I will say, of all the royal children, Prince Gaul has impressed me most so far."

"I have never heard of 'black-tie haggard', so we have been busy, so what? I doubt many others on this trip have rid the planet of a fell beast recently! You should take pride in that, as a noble knight I certainly do."

Nodding seriously
"I am sure if the the scheming ever reaches a crescendo we will be informed and ready to act! Perhaps it will be when the twins choose? Although I will say, of all the royal children, Prince Gaul has impressed me most so far."

There was a faint smile that appeared on her lips at that. "Of course, Ser Keyhote, my mistake. We have done what few could have done and had to pay our own price by sacrificing our time than wedging ourselves in an intrigue! It's a difficult choice and perhaps eventually, our efforts will be repaid in some way or form. Then again, good work is a reward in itself, I say!"

"Really, now?" She said, sounding absolutely incredulous by his choice. "Like impressive in what way? I am very curious."

There was a faint smile that appeared on her lips at that. "Of course, Ser Keyhote, my mistake. We have done what few could have done and had to pay our own price by sacrificing our time than wedging ourselves in an intrigue! It's a difficult choice and perhaps eventually, our efforts will be repaid in some way or form. Then again, good work is a reward in itself, I say!"

"Really, now?" She said, sounding absolutely incredulous by his choice. "Like impressive in what way? I am very curious."

Aurilie blinked at that before straightening her tux jacket where she could. "I take it that you've managed to wrangle some in-depth conversation with him or caught him when he was in the mood to talk philosophy. Here I was under the impression that he was only around to drink and quip. Of course, not saying that he is only capable of that. He is a prince, after all. I just had the feeling that he was enjoying himself to an entirely different party."

Aurilie gave a small chuckle with a raised hand. "I didn't mean to say that he was a scoundrel, not outright, merely that he doesn't seem to enjoy things like the rest of us. Of course, many nobles have their...public image..." she said without being entirely sure about that in regards to Gaul.

"That seems like a facet that you've discovered about him. Leave it to a romantic Hutt to get through to him and perhaps a side of Gaul people should know more, if he would allow it in between drinks and partying. Of course, would the universe be ready for House Panteer's best-kept secret?" She laughed in good humour.
