Niall shook his head. "We came to you because we trust you." Perhaps she would remember their earlier conversation about trust.

Nial straightened, his chin tilting upwards. "Our enemies' strategy is much the same as the Sith. Encourage us to fear, encourage us to hate. Therefore, our strategy must be the same as when dealing with the Empire. We must stand against them, united and resolute."

He smiled. "Sometimes, all that's needed to defeat evil is for good people to tell it no. This is one of those times. And you are one of those people." Captain Alderaan had a habit of speechifying sometimes.

Yulastranza sighed heavily and then said, “Alderaan comes first, in times of crisis we have to band together even if we hate each other. What’s the plan to counter this shadow threat?”

"While we do our investigation, give us time." Niall said, his tone confident. "And if you see an opportunity to cool tensions rather than inflame them, take it."

He smiled. "That may mean your father. But Yulastranza Ulgo is more than just her father's daughter. You command the respect of many Alderaanians. If you speak, people will listen."

Kat had been mostly silent during the exchange, nodding occassionally to Niall's words. It seemed he had a good overview of the situation as it seemed many people answered to him, and he was quite skilled at speaking as well.

Guess that was why he was Captain Alderaan and on all the recruitment posters.

"Cooler heads will be the key in the days ahead, as we try to pull apart this web that's been cast. And keeping your eyes open on suspicious behaviour as well."

Niall let out a puff of breath. "I can give you what I have. It's not much. But perhaps the most significant piece is that the man behind the violence in the protests is one Julio Ulgo, who left your House under bad terms."

He spoke quietly. "It seems that the more peaceful protestor, Tuvi, was killed by this group. We've identified a few of the members, and linked them to holonet incidents. It's just a matter of tying the conspiracy together."
