Day 5 [EE] Girt By Sea (Closed)

[Desilijic Keyhote]

Looking suitably rejuvenated by the love on board the pleasure cruise (and after horrifying the staff at the buffet) Keyhote stands at the rail of the yacht as it slowly glides down to sea level bringing up a soft spray of sea water.

The knight slowly puffs on a cigar the size of a tree branch before turning at the sound of sando's feet on the deck.
"Ah, is it done?"
"Yes yer lordship, I delivered both the invitations myself."
"Good, good. And the wine?"
With a flourish his squire unveils a magnum bottle of the Veuve Ulgout
"Wonderful, wonderful."
He exhales a sizable cloud of smoke and turns back to the beautiful surrounds.

"Now we wait...but you should have a snifter Pantha, make sure the bottle is not corked."
The drall pours himself a small cup with visible glee and raises it.
"To your health yer lordship."
"And yours my friend."

[Niall Organa]

It was a mildly bewildered Niall that approached the rail of the descending yacht. Dressed in his finest formal uniform, and wearing his finest cape (so, his usual cape), he looked the very picture of a handsome young officer. Well, relatively young officer. Definitely young-ish.

His eyebrows went up, just a little, as he spotted the two familiar figures. "Ser Keyhote. Your squire was kind enough to deliver your invitation to me. How very kind." He gave a slight bow in the Alderaanian style.

Eyebrows went up a little further as he surveyed cigars and wine. One of those sorts of meetings, it seemed.

[Cynella Andrim]

Cynella, too, was pleased by the invitation. And though she'd known that these two had met before, it was still rather shocking to see them together in the same room.

She fluffed out her jacket and her hair as she joined them more properly. "What a fine evening it is," she said, doing her best to copy the man's bow. "Made even better with such pleasant company."

Keyhote's bow is a little slow and pained but none the less gracious.

"Ah! So wonderful to see the both of you here. Come, there are cigars if you smoke and wine if you drink! Pantha will serve."
The drall hurriedly sculls his wine glass and nods before stepping forward.

"I had thought that we could take the moment to drink and converse and simply enjoy the beauty around us. And I had wanted to witness the lady Cynella next to one of her heroes. I am told one should not meet them but the Captain-Major seems to be living up to high ideals thus far."

[Niall Organa]

"Ah..." Niall cleared his throat, then smiled. "As it happens, the Lady Cynella has done nothing but impress so far. I have every confidence that there are those who look up to her."

He frowned at Keyhote. "Ser, are you quite alright? Not seasick, I hope? Or spacesick? Some people get both; wouldn't that be unfortunate." He said, his smile somehow both why and concerned.

[Cynella Andrim]

"Is he not as marvelous as I'd implied before?" Cynella beamed in regards to the good Captain-Major. "Whatever amount of fans I have pales in comparison to his reputation." She looked back over to him and flushed; she had, after all, spoken of him as if he wasn't there.

"But yes! Ser Keyhote, are you quite alright?" Definitely better to focus on the Hutt's condition.

[Desilijic Keyhote]

"Ah..." Niall cleared his throat, then smiled. "As it happens, the Lady Cynella has done nothing but impress so far. I have every confidence that there are those who look up to her."

He frowned at Keyhote. "Ser, are you quite alright? Not seasick, I hope? Or spacesick? Some people get both; wouldn't that be unfortunate." He said, his smile somehow both why and concerned.

"Of course, the Prince Aurilie, for one."

"Is he not as marvelous as I'd implied before?" Cynella beamed in regards to the good Captain-Major. "Whatever amount of fans I have pales in comparison to his reputation." She looked back over to him and flushed; she had, after all, spoken of him as if he wasn't there.

"But yes! Ser Keyhote, are you quite alright?" Definitely better to focus on the Hutt's condition.

"He certainly appears to have good bone structure and posture, and he is of good character."
Keyhote nods in agreement.

As for his stiffness
"Nothing serious, just some battle wounds from yesterday. Even a noble knight can be savaged by a vicious beast from time to time. It was an epic combat though."
Eyes glowing
"Our heroes facing off against Black Tooth and his monstrous ilk. A circle of fire surrounding me as I traded blow after blow with the fiend, my blade, his fangs. Then finally he had me until the good Prince Aurilie slew him with a final shot. Pantha has been fretting ever since."
The drall nearly spills some wine as he shakes his head
"His lordship was very nearly slain! That Black Tooth was near the size of a star-freighter!"

[Niall Organa]

Niall gave Cynella a quick slightly awkward smile. Goodness, he was standing right here.

"My word." Niall murmured, eyebrows going up in real surprise. "What was this Black Tooth?" There was a brief pause. "And what sort of star-freighter?"

[Cynella Andrim]

Cynella smiled at the mention of the Prince of Joral. "She too has proven to be of good company. More-over, to hear she bested a beast... well, that's rather impressive!" Hopefully that'd get some heat off of her for her hero worship.

"But wait, yes, what's this about the Black Tooth? I highly doubt it was that big, though I don't wish to disparage you, dear squire."

[Desilijic Keyhote]

Niall gave Cynella a quick slightly awkward smile. Goodness, he was standing right here.

"My word." Niall murmured, eyebrows going up in real surprise. "What was this Black Tooth?" There was a brief pause. "And what sort of star-freighter?"

Cynella smiled at the mention of the Prince of Joral. "She too has proven to be of good company. More-over, to hear she bested a beast... well, that's rather impressive!" Hopefully that'd get some heat off of her for her hero worship.

"But wait, yes, what's this about the Black Tooth? I highly doubt it was that big, though I don't wish to disparage you, dear squire."

"Truly it was! The size of a XS light freighter at least, it dwarfed even his lordship!"
Keyhote chuckles
"It certainly was my superior in size, but everything happened quickly enough that the beast's true size might be up for debate. That being said the Prince had rights to the head should you wish to see it, it will make a fine wall ornament. You should ask to see it if you pay her court, I will content myself with a claw perhaps, it could make a good necklace piece."

[Niall Organa]

"Perhaps I should see this." Niall said, eyebrows still up. After a moment, he shook his head. "Prince Aurilie? I don't believe I've met them. Perhaps I should?"

[Cynella Andrim]

"I thought I mentioned Aurilie to you before, C-Major Organa," she said. "Then again, I did barrage you with a list of potential suitors of mine. That being said, I for one am not so enthused to see the decapitated head of some creature, no matter how glad I am to hear of its demise."

She tilted her head. "In fact, there's quite a lot to talk about. It doesn't need to be now, per say, but I feel like a lot has happened lately. That or my office life is just so boring compared to your two's grand adventures. Sorry, three," she said, giving a wink to the dear squire.

[Desilijic Keyhote]

"Perhaps I should see this." Niall said, eyebrows still up. After a moment, he shook his head. "Prince Aurilie? I don't believe I've met them. Perhaps I should?"

"I thought I mentioned Aurilie to you before, C-Major Organa," she said. "Then again, I did barrage you with a list of potential suitors of mine. That being said, I for one am not so enthused to see the decapitated head of some creature, no matter how glad I am to hear of its demise."

She tilted her head. "In fact, there's quite a lot to talk about. It doesn't need to be now, per say, but I feel like a lot has happened lately. That or my office life is just so boring compared to your two's grand adventures. Sorry, three," she said, giving a wink to the dear squire.

"Yes, the Prince and I have hunted together from time to time. She is a human female...has hair."
He looks over to Sando who provides some actually relevant descriptors and returns Cynella's wink as he does so.

"A lot has happened recently? I confess I've heard some vague political rumblings but have been concerned with my own affairs. Don't tell me there are more villains at work in the shadows?"

[Niall Organa]

"Oh, of course." Was Niall responding to being reminded of her by Cynella? Or of the terribly unhelpful description from Keyhote. It wasn't quite clear.

He grimaced. "In fact, there are villains at work in the shadows. Challenging to fight." He sighed. "I rather wish I could tell you all about it, but I need to be discreet."

He smiled wryly. "That doesn't mean I can say nothing, though. And it certainly doesn't mean I can't share a pleasant drink with some friends." He stepped forward, accepting a glass.

[Cynella Andrim]

Cynella smoothed out her jacket more as she listened to the descriptions of Aurilie. All accurate, so to speak, but rather odd nonetheless. Talk of dark deeds, though, earned her attention much more (poor Aurilie!). "Oh? Yes, I suppose now is not the time to speak of such things." She certainly hoped he didn't mean to keep her in the dark. "I heard some news myself, though I imagine you already know all that I know too. But something seems off about what I know too..."

She shook her head. "But yes, yes, you're right. We should, well, drink?"

"A toast then! To the defeat of villains! And to pleasant drinks with friends."
He daintily sips the wine

"Know that this noble knight stands ever read to bring light to the shadows wherever it is needed. None shall be allowed to soil the love of this noble planet with their foulness!"

[Alysele Organa]

A well dressed figure familiar to Cynella and Niall approached the congregation.

"My apologies for the interruption all, I was hoping to find my errant husband." She smiled gently, and curtsied. "I just wanted to check up on him, but he seems to be in good company then."

[Niall Organa]

Smiling, Niall reached out and took Aly's hand, holding it in proper courtly manner.

"Lady Cynella, you remember my wife, Lady Alysele." He turned to Keyhote. "Alysele, this is Ser Keyhote, a brave knight." He gave her hand a tiny squeeze at that, probably to communicate something like right?!?!

He raised his wine glass. "We were just having a toast to defeating our enemies." He took a sip, then shook his head, grimacing. "Light to the shadows is quite right. We do seem to be facing shadows. Behind it all, and hard to nail down."

[Cynella Andrim]

"A pleasure to be in your company once again," Cynella said to the Jedi-wife-knight.

Though she didn't want to drink too much, she took it upon herself to at least partake in toasts. "I see. It makes this whole cruise feel a little excessive, and yet, perhaps necessary to keep the peace."

[Desilijic Keyhote]

A well dressed figure familiar to Cynella and Niall approached the congregation.

"My apologies for the interruption all, I was hoping to find my errant husband." She smiled gently, and curtsied. "I just wanted to check up on him, but he seems to be in good company then."

"Knight Alysele! So this is the woman Niall loves with all his heart."
The hutt's golden eyes look her up and down
"Fascinating."
