Different Kinds of Home [Day 5, EE]

[Riss]

Walking along the edge of the outside of the ship, now that they were once more planet-side and coasting through the waters Riss runs her hand along the edge. Smelling the ocean air, taking it in. She'd had her fair share of drinks already so right now she was without. Simply walking the less traveled areas of the ship. Wearing the elegant dress she'd selected for the evening. Riss stops at a point, turns more fully toward the side and leans out a bit to look over the side of the ship at the rushing waves.

[Dapper Dog]

Bryson was seated with other members of House Rist and Yulastranza Ulgo in discussion. He spotted her and waved.

[Riss]

Catching sight of him she smiles. Raising an arm for a wave as she turns to face him. Resting herself against the outside there for a moment, wondering. With a bit of an inspired desire she starts pointing to herself and then over by him. Making the pointing a bit of a question as she tilts her head.

Something to add to the clarity, is that she then gives the other option: she points to him and then a spot beside her. Watching across the way to see if he was interested by either.

[Dapper Dog]

He gestured for her to join them.

[Riss]

A smile, she leans off the side where she was positioned and moves along to find her way to him. As she approached she gave a good glance across all of the assorted faces, noting on Yulastranza more directly for a moment. Casting a brief smile, a wave, and then moving along over toward Bryson's side. Riss had crashed her number of parties and a discussion she wasn't originally invited to wasn't much different than that. Making the approach feel far less awkward than perhaps it otherwise should have.

Laying a hand down on his shoulder as she gets there she leans down nearer his ear. Speaking softly for a touch more private greeting amid the discussion going on, "Hey you."

[Dapper Dog]

He chuckled and said to the others, “This is Lady Lanar, Baz, Veks and Yulastranza Ulgo. We were just enjoying a drink. Been a busy, busy pleasure cruise.”

[Yulastranza Ulgo]

"Pleasure, Lady Lanar," Yulastranza said before sipping her whiskey.

[Riss]

There was a slight shudder, like two timestreams crossing hearing Yulastranza refer to her as such. A smile to distract from it, "It's been a while, Lady Ulgo. Well, since we've talked last at least.. seen you around plenty," she offers with an easy smile. A gentle hand reassuring herself with a soft grip of Bryson's shoulder. Looking to the other two she offered a similar smile to both, "Pleasure, Baz, Veks," she gives a quick nod following the introductions.

"Mind if I join you then? Didn't expect to see you here at all considering, but that you were working lessens the surprise a bit. Can tell me all about whatever interesting things you've been up to," she says with a brief laugh, there's a warmth to it.

[Dapper Dog]

"Well as a member of House Rist you have to get used to wild accusations, so just telling them about the possible terrorist Lady Koor of House Thul. The ones that actually have a Sith in their ranks, who destroyed House Lanar. It's all politics but you get used to it," he said with a shrug.

The other nodded knowing what he is saying.

[Yulastranza Ulgo]

“I have never known her to be a crazy woman, but then again I have only just met the woman so I really can’t say much about her. As my father likes to say, no one is ever a traitor until they are,” she said.

[Riss]

Finding herself the seat nearest Bryson she scoots it over a bit as they chat, if needed. Close enough that she can lean her forearm on his shoulder, and her chin on her forearm. Looking over toward Yulastranza as she seemed to be the other main speaker, as they talk. Shifting her attention to Bryson their faces are close and she speaks a bit softer given her proximity to his ear, "Who's wildly accusing you of things? Seems.." she chuckles, shaking her head a little. "Well, you're probably one of the few Rist I'd actually suspect about anything shady."

[Dapper Dog]

“Lady Koor from House Thul,” he repeated. “I don’t even do field work, but it’s moot. If something goes wrong blame House Rist, even when you’re an Imperial lackey, blame House Rist.”

[Riss]

"Huh.. the one from that holo-video that was getting spread around? Saw her just last night at the dance with Prince Joran.." she smirks, shaking her head. "It was day in the video right? Sounds kinda like a holodrama. Commit heinous acts and then go dance with one of the princes of Alderaan.." she rolls her neck a little, shifting the hair that was falling in front of her face out of the way.

"Doesn't really seem the trustworthy sort after all that. Maybe they're just trying to come up with a story that gets the spotlight off them? Thrashing about looking for the lowest hanging fruit. Would make it rough on them considering some of their seeming intentions on the prince.. whatever those really are," she says, a little more thoughtfully than the rest.

[Yulastranza Ulgo]

Yulastranza rubbed the bridge of her nose, “There is just… so much going on. It’s giving me a headache.”

[Riss]

"It's.. surprisingly not the busiest I've been in my life," she adds with a intentionally softer laugh. "Though being back on Alderaan does have all those little reminders of how complicated it all is back here. Kinda loving it a bit? Some of it at least, everything's a bit exciting," she says, glancing back to Bryson.

[Dapper Dog]

"Really? Must be nice," he teased. "My whole trip was meeting after meeting... then accusation then more meetings."

"I kind of just want to drink until tomorrow. But it's movie night back at the homestead."

[Riss]

"Now that's almost never a bad idea," she says with a brighter laugh, still kept soft given the proximity. Bringing her other hand across her chest to lay on his arm gently, fingers splayed across it. "Well, at least they've been on this way too fancy cruise mm?" she teases a little, leaning in a bit more and on a whisper, "Shame I've got plans tonight, movie night would have been cute to see," she says and then leans back looking around the table.

"Plenty of chance to do a few good things too. Yours truly was one of the quick defenders at that little protest a couple days ago. Course then there were the dances, and all the other stuff. Helluva more wild vacation than the one I'd originally planned," she laughs again, a slight shake of her head. "Even getting introduced as Lady lanar again. Which has been.." she doesn't finish that thought.

[Dapper Dog]

“Well if you are planning to stay long term, even with out the Prince you might want to get used to it. Maybe talk to House Organa and see if they can sponsor a reinstatement. Just throwing ideas out there,” he offered.

[Riss]

"I'm.. uncertain," she says, voice even a bit softer as to be unsure. "Not sure what reinstatement would even mean when it's just me and Bo right now. Neas out there in university and the rest in the wind.. if they're even alive. Though," she laughs lightly, shaking her head, "would be quite the sight to see them come home to Alderaan only to find me being the one back here. That.. that would be something," another soft laugh.

"Hypothetically, lets say this idea has a chance to stick. Who in House Organa would I even go to? Could probably start from Niall but, that's just pulling at the folk I know," she shrugs. "Never had to much learn that whole.. process, before."

[Dapper Dog]

"Nobles value friendships and connection, Major Organa is a great start," he said.
