Kat! I guess Aurilie only had that quick chat with her at the shooting range but I had a feeling the two could get along more with more scenes, especially having similar sentiments (I feel at least).
For the uninitiated, what are the differences between playing a Sith and Jedi you've found, both as an experience and mechanically?
Yeah I wish we had more scenes too!

Kat liked what she saw of Aurilie.
And that's a very good question, which is why I had to take some time to think about this (hence why I didn't answer this right away

).
Mechanically I wouldn't say there is too much difference (apart from using Dark Side as a Sith). Jedi and Sith aren't that restricted build-wise to what they can be, though personally I feel like some work better for Sith (Aggressor, Executioner for example) and some work better for Jedi (Protector and Healer) simply because of some flavours and vibes with certain specs.
As an experience I would say it was very different! As a Sith, I cared a lot less about upsetting folks IC, and did a lot more "might makes right" and "this lightsaber means I'm in charge and you do what I say". As a Jedi, it was a lot more being respectful of other people and being aware of others and your own place in the galaxy. Sith and Jedi both have a great deal of privilege in their societies, but whereas Sith take advantage of that as much as they can for the sake of power, a Jedi acts with more caution to not take that privilege for granted. Jedi are allowed a lot of freedoms and leeway in the Republic and the galaxy because people respect them and think they are wise, but that privilege can be lost if you're insulting people and trampling over local customs and laws.
So playing Kat, I felt much more aware of thinking how her actions would affect others, and how that would reflect on the Jedi Order. My Sith character by comparison cared a lot less about that.
