Loved the low-key Tenjou Utena-vibes of Aurilie! As always, a pleasure to read your characters.

What was Aurilie expecting from the festival? Did she expect to find love?

Hm! Good question, I suppose she was really taking the Festival as a social occasion where she could potentially build some contacts for allies or potential ventures at Mount Joral. She was expecting some trouble makers to be around, well, mostly from outside than inside. There were also the marriage arrangements going on but she didn't want to take part in that, at least directly. It did kind of work out that she wasn't involved in the proceedings, outside of the events that were open to the public. That said, with the idea of marriage floating around, she was considering her own marriage and open to some prospects if they presented themselves. She didn't expect any but it was a possibility.

Aurilie met Cynella at the maze and both floated the idea, then the rest was history!

I'm curious: I got a bit of butch/tomboy vibes from Aurilie, which worked with the very feminine Cynella. I'm wondering how it'd come into play with a male partner instead!

Thank you! And it's fine, I can be patient! I suppose we had a few scenes in the beginning and then maybe I realized the game was ending soon and layered a few scenes at once at certain points thanks to current events. We can play that double date idea in our heads.

And a very good question! Lots to think about. Aurilie was open to the prospect of picking up a husband potentially, which would potentially ask the couple about certain roles they would take as a family. I suppose she would be adamant about staying Prince and would hope that her husband would agree to marry into her family, maybe even as a Prince and Prince couple? There were a few potential candidates floating in my head in a maybeworld scenario. If she becomes a mother, she would be putting the huntress aspect in a backseat a bit but she'd like to get back to it eventually, sharing the role of raising the family equally.

Although, there's also the idea that they could be more of a profession-focused couple with their careers. That likely wouldn't please her family but she might rebel anyway. Well, she might choose to have children eventually down the line with that path when she becomes a full-time ruler of Mount Joral.

A bit nebulous in possibilities but I hope that answers it!
