[D2 ME] Ya Boi Kenobi, you're our only hope

[Alysele Organa]

Aly waited for Niall and Daz to arrive. Of course she set out refreshments, all the latest hip things, like hydro-cola and stuff.

[Niall Organa]

Niall showed up promptly, as usual. "Goodness, hydro-cola? I haven't had that in ages. It would probably make me twitchy now."

He was dressed in his less formal uniform. With cape, of course.

[Dapper Dog]

Daz arrived and said, "Hello Major Organa and Jedi Organa, I was kind of surprised to get a request thought you wanted Baesal. Uhh how can I help you?"

[Alysele Organa]

"Padawan Daz, please, come take some refreshments."

She smiled widely, in a motherly way. She was dressed in white, as usual, and offered him some...Hydro-cola. That is what the youth likes, no?

"So, I saw your hololog the other day, and it was pretty good." She glanced at Niall. "You seem to have a talent for that, and well...I think we could use your help."

[Niall Organa]

Smiling, Niall let his wife take the lead. Although he did wave at Daz.

[Dapper Dog]

"Whizz, did you subscribe?" he asked as he cracked open a cola.

[Alysele Organa]

"Of course! That was deep." She raised a hand to her hair, mussing it into something proper.

"So...have you heard of Tuvi Krims?"

[Dapper Dog]

“The local peaceful protestor guy? He’s kind of lame and seems anti-Crown but pro-Ulgo right? I don’t really get his thing but he’s small time. Why?” he said with excitement as he sips cola.

[Alysele Organa]

"Well...even his protests would be fine, but he's paddling some views, that are not what one would consider core to the Republic or Alderaan. Like pushing all nonhumans away, to outer planets. They can stay and work, but shouldn't be seen." She frowned at the thought.

"And she's not big on Panteer or Organa, thinking they are Imperial aligned. It's all very..." she shrugged. "Silly, but the people need something to listen to, I guess. What we were thinking of." She gestured to Niall and herself. "Is to present an alternative vision of Alderaan."

She now waved to Niall. "Dear, would you tell Daz your views on Alderaan?"

[Niall Organa]

"What makes Alderaan great is its people." Niall said. "Not just our courage, and our tenacity, but our hearts. Our spirits. We're glad to share what we have not just with each other, but with the rest of the galaxy. Sometimes that means our art. Sometimes that means food. And sometimes that just means welcoming them with open arms. Because that's what it means to be Alderaanian."

After a moment, Niall smiled. "Was something like that what you had in mind, dear?" He flashed her a smile.

[Dapper Dog]

"Oh sweet want me to do an interview?" he asked.

[Alysele Organa]

"Yeah, something like that. Basically, we want to make sure people don't feel shoehorned into following his vision." She put air quotes on.

"But we've got a war hero here. Let's make sure his voice is heard."

[Dapper Dog]

“Okay give me a few minutes, Layne has Selfie-3000 but I can use my communicator and selfie light, and just got to get the right framing. Okay we are good.”

“It’s ya boi, Daz, the padawan with the most swagger on Alderaan! Coming to you live from House Organa, we blowing up Alderaan like it stole something! Now I know the padawan family is not going to believe this but we have Captain Alderaan right here, right now and this dude is whizz!”

He then asked, “So tell the padawans out there, a bit about yourself Captain! Why do you pop, and all the others just drop.”

[Niall Organa]

Whoops. Apparently this was happening. Niall cleared his throat, adopting his usual interview posture.

"Well Daz, it's like this. You've got to have the right attitude, you've got to be willing to do what it takes." Niall shrugged. "And then you've just got to be in the right place at the right time."

He went on. "When I earned my medals on Tattooine, Bankor, and right here on Alderaan, I was fighting alongside men, women, and other who were fighting just as hard as me. And some of them have gone on to be as decorated, or even more. Alderaan has no shortage of heroes, and neither does the Republic. So if you see the chance to do some good, that's you in the right place at the right time. Take it."

[Dapper Dog]

Daz replied, “So right place at the right time, but not everyone can serve in the military like you. Not all padawans want or can heft a rifle, how can they make a difference? More importantly what do you think is the biggest issue facing Alderaan that an every day person can help with?”

[Niall Organa]

"Do your part. Whatever that is. Say hello to your neighbor. Donate to the Republic Refugee Fund." Niall said, his tone confident. "Just today, the royal family served soup to people who needed it. Don't be too proud to do something, take pride in what you can do."

Niall leaned forward. "And that leads me into what every Alderaanian can do. Alderaan has become too divided, from itself, and from the Republic. Remember that while we may sometimes let each other down, we're all on the same side. And when your friend falls, you don't blame them for slowing you down. You help them back up."

[Dapper Dog]

“Now that is whizz, thanks Captain and I got one more question for you courtesy of chat. If you had to pick who was hotter, would you say it was Princess Jameela or Jedi Kataryzna Ulgo… or… this is gross chat… you are banned from picking choices ever again but somehow we have the gross Layne Hoshin, who I guess is a Jedi,” Daz asked with a wide grin.

“Padawan chat wants them deetz!”

[Alysele Organa]

Aly was quite proud of the whole idea and interview and everything.

Until the last bit.

Where she politely coughed.

She was here after all.

[Niall Organa]

Niall didn't really need a reminder. "So... you're asking me which of two Jedi and the Royal Princess is the most attractive. In front of my wife." Niall sighed.

After a moment, he smiled. "Perhaps I'll just say that confidence is a very attractive feature, whether in a person or a partner. I don't think I can speak more on the subject than that, I'm afraid."

[Dapper Dog]

"So the wife wins by default, whizz."

Daz turned the camera to grab a shot of Alysele, "I can see it... and chat Approves... and now Chat is in lewd jail. And we are out. Smash that like Button like it stole something and remember," he said waving his hand like a Jedi, "this is ya boi you're looking for!"

He relaxed and said, "That was great! Add some filters, sound effects, hey you want to do my dance?"
