[Day 8 - LA] Party Preperations

[Nudimsu]

There is a long pause as he listens to the comms and looking at him. Yes, it was never much of a surprise that a coup was going to happen. Only the open and direct manner in which it was implemented was the only shocking aspect. "I honestly was expecting more subtlety in their attempt, to be honest. Such amateurs. Oh well, just as well, it allowed them to be foiled." He shrugged and looked to the prince. "It is good to hear your family is alive still." Loss of life aside, whoever responsible deserved to fail.

He shook his head as he continued to listen to Daz. "Must that child talk like that, even in this situation?" He otherwise let the others figure out the best move. He plopped himself down next to Riss, just waiting for the next step.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

The hug was returned, firmly but briefly, as Riss could tell Kat was still alert for more attacks, and was... very worried. She followed Gaul and the others, a hand on her saber to stay alert in case there were more dangers. Her military-like posture helped keep the others on edge too for any possible ambushes.

With communications back up it was a relief to hear that the queen and the princess was alive. As well as prince Unther.

"... We need to find out where Bouris Ulgo is. Prince Joran might be in grave danger." While she was focused, there was a deep concern in her voice. Concern not only for the others, but also for her family.

[Riss]

"Information said there would be an attack on the palace.. if I were the Duke? Military man like that trying to seize power? I'm guessing he's there. Someone needs to sit on the throne when everyone else shoulda been dead," she comments, but there's some distance to it. Joran not being confirmed on his status meant he might have gone to the palace too. Which could mean that if he's hurt, it would be her fault partially. Shaking her head she tossed out the thoughts.

Leaning down to the side she rests her head against Nudie's shoulder, speaking more privately, "You're weird. I like you, a good guy. But you're weird."

[Cynella Andrim]

Cynella, a bit awkward with two swords and her ballgown, simply accepted the hug. "Good to see you too," she said, also giving Nudimsu a wave with one of the looted vibroweapons. Was a bit odd to receive her full name now of all times but the gesture was appreciated nonetheless.

"So it is Bouris Ulgo responsible for this? I hope his daughter isn't caught up in all of this." Despite their clashes, she wanted to believe that that woman didn't abide by treason. And then, to face one's own father...

"I still can't believe they stabbed me," she said, shaking her head. "But okay, enough, enough about that. Should we bring His Highness with us to search for Prince Joran or find a safe place first?"

[Riss]

Realization does hit, a mild panic, and she leans off of Nudimsu again. Scooting forward she pushes herself off the crate they were sitting on and flashes a hand up to ask for a second. Pulling that earpiece out Nudie gave her earlier she shoves it in a pocket, and with dexterous hands flips the comlink pieces into place instead. Popping the earpiece in she quickly fiddles with the fob until she can get a connection out to her brother.

All she needed was to hear the voice, and so she called, waiting for the connection she mutters to herself as she walks away from the group and into a more private corner as to not disturb anyone around too much. Though her muttering was still easy enough to tune into, "C'mon, c'mon," there's an unease to it.

[Dapper Dog]

One of the House technicians comes bakc and says, "The Queen is on her way to the main palace, she has ordered all forces converge. Prince Unther and Princess Jameela are on route to here, no word on Prince Joran, your highness."

Gaul nodded and said, "If anyone can help please head to the Panteer palace, I will remain here to oversee global operations."

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

Kat looked at him with some concern. "Will you be safe here, your highness?"

[Cynella Andrim]

"Yeah, I'm with the Jedi on this one. Are you sure you don't need our protection?" Cynella looked at her newly-acquired weapons and sighed. "But we should get moving otherwise."

[Riss]

Riss held onto the call, but would look toward the group with the asking for aid. Offering her nod, she'd be ready to go when it was time to. Regardless if she got through or not.

[Dapper Dog]

Kat looked at him with some concern. "Will you be safe here, your highness?"

"Safe is relative, master Jedi, but may the Force be with you," he said and then planted a kiss on her lips.

"For luck, of course."

[Riss]

Riss squealed in the background at the sight.

Stunned was the first reaction.

Then Kat felt very ready to go take on army. Or swing across a chasm with a royal on her arm, fleeing Imperial troopers. Or something.

She held his hand for a moment, looking at him with both affection and worry for him. "... May the Force be with you." Then, she forced herself to let go, and focus on what needed to be done. If his siblings were coming here, she'd have faith that he'd be safe.

"Let's go. Alderaan needs us." Head held high, Katarzyna strode forward, ready for them to go and support the queen to reclaim the castle.

[Cynella Andrim]

"Huh."

Cynella glanced around on the floor, hoping to find some sort of blaster she could use instead of these damn swords. Regardless, afterwards she pressed forward with the group. "Keeping the planet together is one hell of a wedding gift to my future spouse," she said, lifting her arms up in premature victory.

[Nudimsu]

"Would like to stop by my ship to gather some equipment first. Have some nonlethal grenades and some other things I picked up yesterday, just in case." And his highly advanced stealth suit that he took from the Ascendency, but no need to bring that up. "Assuming, of course, they haven't taken that over too. Exit points would be a key move to overtake the area, but it was too early to tell. I don't think that would be too far out of from it."

He didn't protest Riss leaning on him. She had a rough day and it was too much going on to do so. Though, he wasn't really all that weird. He was a regular Chiss, as far as he was concerned. Still, it was nice to be liked for who he was.

"Oh good, so this would count as a gift, then?" He turned to Cynella. "Excellent. I would rather like to avoid having to go shopping for one again. After what I've been thru, I don't even want to think what customs are involved for wedding gifts." There was a grunt as he pulled out his pistol.

[Desilijic Keyhote]

Keyhote picks up Ser Monstrous, signals for Sando to jump up on his shoulder. And leaves.
