The CEO of Midnight Transport could not look further from the typical CEO. She's athletic, doesn't dress all that smartly, and is more often seen tinkering with the ship and covered in oils than in suits and meetings. It's safe to assume she owns more armour than smart clothes. She has quite a cocky attitude, but she can show kindness - even more so now she's somewhat settled down (although don't ask about her situation with Jax, it's complicated). However, she is also know to have a quite terrible temper, and she is prone to anger over very little.

Which is perhaps why in her infinite wisdom as CEO (her words) she has delegated meetings to her "assistant" (aka the person who is really running it) Jax.

All the previous festivals the two have attended together, this year Jax is away on important business so Azura is unsupervised and on her best behaviour! Maybe. Hopefully?

He's never had to work for anything he's acquired or been given and just doesn't seem to understand people less fortunate than himself. The only hardship that even impacts slightly on his world are the killiks gathering close to the Syrush Estates. Even a pampered fool recognises that threat.

Always dressed in expensive fashion and surrounded by servants to wait on him hand and foot, Felix is actually quite attractive and personable . . . if you can stand the self-entitlement.

Details
Coming from a system far beyond the reach of most travelers, the Chiss have only recently been making appearances into this part of the galaxy due to the war efforts. For Prirnu'dim'suazzo, his recent entrance to the area also had to do with the war effort. Having strong personal opinions for the Ascendancy working with the Empire. Despite being able to maintain a large amount of independence, the sure Idiocracy of the Sith Empire eventually succumbed Prirnu'dim'suazzo and, in a rare showing of emotion, left the Ascendency in grand fashion.

This also meant leaving into a whole new area surrounded by people even more who were less smarter than the group he left. After which, he turned to the Republic to learn more about them, to which he was thoroughly disappointed by their offerings and lack of clear logistical understanding and decided against working for them.

Eventually, having no other choice but to adapt or starve, Nudimsu eventually began to offer his services as a pilot. He could do his work, fly around as he was trained to do amoung the Chiss, and not have to deal with the presence of people who were less than intellectually stimulating to his needs for longer than a single mission or two.

Having realized that it was ill advised to keep on this route, leaving others in charge of his own destiny, he took out for a ship loan and decided it wise and meet up with a man, although not as smart as he, was more than capable of doing the job needed of him. His name was Craw and a Mandolorian, which apparently meant something out here, being known for their ruthless and fearsome abilities in combat. Eventually, more and more people started to flock over to his ship and they were all efficient at their job.

After the events of Bankor, Nudimsu continued to work alongside of Durasay as a personal driver while he wrapped up the remainder of his term in office. Then, after Durasay returned to being a private citizen once more, he traveled with him to the home of his people while taking odd jobs for the Republic and his cousin race. Though not entirely the same place, the chilled environment of Pantora's main planet, Orto Plutonia, was a was a nice reminder of the home he had once abandoned. There he remained for some time, travelling from time to time doing jobs to help continue to pay for the maintenance and needs of his crew aboard his ship, The Turtle. He did what he could to get to know his cousins, and most could actually hold his interest in small doses. It was clear, however, when he didn't even let Durasay finish explaining whatever task he had to do on Alderaan and agreed to go, that he had enough of his emotional and illogical cousins for the foreseeable future.

He said something about marriage. Wasn't sure if it was him getting married, or Hacha, or someone else.

Didn't matter; he'd figure it out on the way.

Bold, romantic, probably insane. These are all words lesser beings use to describe Desilijic Keyhote. Whenever he hears such descriptor the Hutt chuckles. What cares a noble knight for the judgement of those who kill and maim and enslave? What cares he for those who have never known love? Keyhote loves passionately. He loves being alive,the feeling of his blade in his hand, Pantha's quips and the sight of two lovers in the distance holding one another as the sun sets. He is the Love Hutt, and he has come to Alderaan.

At a mere 263 years of age Keyhote is still young by Hutt standards. Although he has represents the Desilijic Clan as required and fulfils his duties, Keyhote uses his relative lack of responsibility to travel the galaxy to learn and to feel. And where better to be than the Festival of a Thousand Flowers? Here Keyhote hopes to sample romance. Not for himself of course, but to spark and inspire love amongst others. To bring together soulmates and to defend the innocent. For while he loves life Keyhote can also end it in an instant when hundreds of kilos of corded muscle bring his blade crashing down.

Alderaan also boasts famously good hunting and the Hutt Knight looks forward to pitting himself against ferocious beasts. What is a knight without a few appropriate trophies?

A down to earth Drall with many a homely saying Sando is an odd sight to accompany the massive Keyhote. But no knight is complete without a squire to maintain his armaments, deal with the bureaucracy and ferry his bulk around in a landspeeder. While he might complain about his master's latest chivalrous delusion or the pain of oiling that much armour every day Sando is quietly thankful to have been plucked from indentured servitude.

Now on Alderaan the Drall stands ready to assist his master and limit the damage from any of Keyhote's flights of romantic fantasy.

Description: While Niall still has fine aristocratic features, years of disciplined military training, with Mandalorians no less, has turned Captain Alderaan into a lean, mean (actually nice), recruitment poster posing machine. He still favors the upper end of Republic military fashion, and even when he does wear Alderaanian noble fashions, he wears them in Republic blue. When in formal dress uniform he wears his medals, and in any sort of formal occasion, he'll wear his cape. It is a very nice cape, after all.

History: The oldest surviving heir of his particular branch of the Organa family, Niall has been an officer in the Republic military since he was eighteen years old. He's seen action on more planets than he can count, received a few medals for bravery, and two for being severely wounded in the line of duty. One of those was awarded for the recent fighting on Alderaan; Niall recuperated at home, and has remained on the planet ever since.

Besides taking part in the negotiations on Nar Shaddaa, and helping with both the war and rebuilding efforts on Bankor, Niall is known for working with a group of Mandalorian irregulars who are semi-integrated with the Republic military. He is also known for being the face on many recruitment posters, a few recruitment videos, and one recruitment calendar.

He's not entirely sure where the nickname "Captain Alderaan" came from, but he's very resigned to it now.

As the second born of House Serrus, Archibald should have learned the ways of the factories on Balmora. However, the frontlines soon moved to Archibald. He was too young to truly join the fight, so instead he became a master of communication. By studying the codes of chivalry and learning fencing, he is on his way to being a true gentleman. Now he comes home for the first time in a while to fulfil his duty to his family: seek the rich and powerful on Alderaan and try to get some help for keeping Balmora from falling to the Sith, finding a good marriage, and securing the Serrus name on the tounges of the Republic.

She is a feline, her fur is white and striped black, her hair is black. Her eyes are brown, and she almost always wears either a shit-kicker grin, or a bored frown.

At a bar she's the loudest one in the room. Insulting one half of the bar, while encouraging the other half to keep buying her drinks. In sparring practice she's the aloof master that you often think just makes everything up as she goes along. In private... or if you're a force sensitive - you'll probably notice a deep well of sadness.

Former or current Jedi might know of her. She was one of the few left that never used a lightsaber - or as she would say, never needed to.

If you have access to her file, or if you have heard of her, you might know some or all of the following:

- She was born 3689 to Vilhemeena and Lek Ma on Coruscant.
- She was inducted into the order as a cub.
-Her Master was Zan Li, an Epicanthix Jedi. Master Zan Li watched in horror as Panantha was devastated by the Sith Empire as the order looked on and did nothing. He ended up having to move bureaucratic mountains just to get the Jedi to relocate the survivors to Bunduki. Soon after the "Followers of Palawa" were born.
-In 3677 events unfold and eventually Master Zan Li and his Padawan Breela Ma follow Master Horus Kun all the way to Heros Prime. Later they would side with King Horus Kun, in whose service Master Zan Li was killed. After Horus Kun's faction was brought down she fled and didn’t rejoin the Jedi for years.
-At 30 She married Khaji Po and started a family. Together they had a son and a daughter: Torrance and Zan'ja Po (Pronounced like Sonya - Named after her former master).
-The Order finds her again by 3656 and she joins the initiative to create havoc behind Sith lines.
-At some point one of her resistance operations goes too well and the Sith deploy a weapon that she still barely understands. It demoralized the resistance filling their dreams with (sometimes) waking nightmares or horrors. (Dread Masters?) Whatever it was, it drove her to drink. A habit she still hasn't kicked to this day.
-As the fighting worsened eventually she moved her family to Coruscant. They were there in 3653 - to this day she believes they are dead as she tried for two years to find them without success.

He has since traveled the Galaxy helping local governments deal with hard investigations, earning House Antilles honor and glory.

A few years ago, he was involved in uncovering a slave trade involving padawans being sold to the Sith. Five of the eight padawans died during the escape. One chose to join Mark, feeling she could not continue along the path of the Jedi. Mark has continued his work for House Antillies until he was called back to Alderaan for the love festival.

Hooks
- Part of House Thul or worked with them pre-Sith? You might have known him. He holds know hard feelings. How House Thul feels is something Mark doesn't know nor has thought about.

- Jedi may also remember the ex-padawan, Barris Kaarz. She was expected to be one of the best duelists of her generation, but left after losing her master, being enslaved, and watching most of her companions die against a Sith while her vaulted skills were useless.

- Of course, you might have run into him in one of his random investigations throughout the galaxy. Jedi have appeared more often in the last few years. It's almost like they are keeping tabs on him.

Background:
Jocasta is the eldest daughter and second child of the House Teraan. Her older brother Lenn and younger sister Cedonia followed in their father's footsteps, working in finance, while Jocasta chose military service.

Like many of her generation, Jocasta enlisted to serve in a war that before she was born. The Great Galactic War was brought to her front door at the age of eight with the Sith invasion and the Battle of Alderaan. While her siblings and the majority of House Teraan withdrew from direct conflict, Jocasta felt it was her civic duty to answer the calling of the Alderaan Defense Forces.

She quickly rose through the ranks and stood out for her prowess in taking charge and leading troops. She has served with distinction, earning the respect of her superiors for her ability to bring out the best in those under her command, and is well regarded by her troopers.

Having spent the majority of her adult life in the military, Jocasta does not stand on pomp and circumstance, but she was well groomed from a young age to represent House Teraan and will begrudgingly play the games of the court. She has a lot of strong opinions, but prides herself on the wisdom to know when to share those opinions and when to just smile and nod.

Born from a Rist Military family, Zayne showed promise at a very early age of his potential in martial combat and leadership. Around his 8th birthday, a Jedi came to see his family. Zayne was showing signs of being able to use the Force as well. Upon joining the Order, Zayne got to the lightsaber like a Gungan to water. While he was far from home, he was still a son of the House of Rist, and Zayne became quite the pragmatic tactician as he got older.

When the war starting, Zayne was sent to Alderaan with his master and many other Jedi to support the Republic Special Forces. After a battle near his old home, he was given a suit of ancient battle armor from a Jedi from many generations ago, after his had been damaged badly. The armor wore the House of Rist colors and crest.

Blai is the second of three children of the inevitably complicated marriage of a Jedi Knight, third cousin to the Matriarch of Minor House Frayus, to a previous aide and courier to the House that later became a bureaucrat. Between his mother's long absences working for the Jedi Order, his father's focus on work, a serious and very diligent older brother who grew to become a politician in the Lower House, and a young sister who showed great gifts in manipulating the force from a young age and went on to become a Padawan as well, Blai always felt like the "normal", less important member of the family. Instead of lingering too much on the inevitable middle child issues, though, he relished the greater freedom that came from being less often in the spotlight to become a teenager and youngster who was often exploring different wild areas of Alderaan in the company of commoners - or alone.

Becoming a student at the University of Alderaan (UniAlde) was his chance at finding himself and a purpose in life. He thrived as a xenobiology undergrad, then as a graduate student - under the helpful guidance of Professor Amira Greenfield, who helped him learn not only about science, but also about himself. After years describing and researching the morphology, behaviour and ecology of a variety of lifeforms (but mainly mammal-like beings, which were the focus of his PhD) from multiple worlds around the Outer Rim and Wild Space, two and a half years ago he finally got hired as an official researcher and lecturer at UniAlde. His life since then has been... not too different from before, in fact. Some more bureaucracy, which he often forgets about, more freedom to decide (haphazardly?..) on his research topics... and lectures. Which, considering the schedule of his fieldwork, he most often either holds remotely (when the connections available are better than appalling...), or records in advance. Those who have taken Principles of Xenoecology, Alderaanian Fauna 101 or Topics in Beast Behaviour and Training at UniAlde during the last 2 years may have seen his classes (on a screen...).

Recently, while conducting research on the denizens of the dense forests of Pzob, ecological relations within the forests the forest's use by Gamorrean settlers, he received a message from Matriarch Dariana Frayus. Her own son not even considered a Frayus anymore after going rogue, and older male heirs to the family already married, she asked him to come to the festival of the flowers to represent the house as a possible suitor for the twins. So, after spending the best part of two and a half years away from home, he puts his research on hold and packs to go back home...

Appearance and personality
The reddish-brown haired, hazel eyed noble's kind heart and his easygoing, happy-go-lucky attitude haven't changed much since his teenager years. He's not quite as awkward around other nobles and oblivious of social norms and customs and the political maneuvering going on in important places as he was when he was younger... but it doesn't take long for a career politician to notice he's far from used to the court. Most often he'll be seen in a set of T-shirts (often depicting some weird creature of one backwater world or another), cargo pants, jackets and sometimes a modular backpack. All in all, way more pockets than one would expect in a serious noble. When in court, however, he does wear a well-made set of noble regalia... even if it seems a bit out of place on him.

Trusty Companion - Icewolf Elur
Blai has a trusty companion (and infallible "live cargo" around when he's travelling, which he insists on keeping in decent living quarters...), Elur, a female and quite large Icewolf he found as a cub that had been separated from her pack while conducting research in Spintir. Elur is generally shy around people she doesn't know, but remarkably friendly and playful around those she gets used to and notices Blai has a friendly relationship with. Of course, tame or not, she's still a large, wild icewolf, so if she feels threatened (or sees Blai in danger) her ferocious side quickly comes to the fore.

Description: Fairly tall and fit, Gil is a at a glance a good fit for his job as House Security and Bodyguard for House Rist. Perhaps not as imposing as a bouncer in a seedy bar in Nar Shaddaa he nevertheless can be somewhat intimidating when in uniform. He's not much for fashion in his casual dress, preferring a simple style that is easy to move in. His job and ceremony does cause him to dress up on occasion though.

While fit and tall, he's not exactly what most would consider handsome though. His features a bit sharp and his gaze a bit to serious for most to find attractive. He is well kept though which some might consider a plus.

Raised amid a family of servants that have served House Rist for generations, Gil knew his destined procession from a young age, as the eldest child of his family there was very little in the way of options after all. Not that he was a guard from the start though, at seventeen he joined the Republic Army to gain experience as well as further training before attendign to his duties. His four year tour of duty was fairly uneventful the peace treaty between the Republic and Sith having been signed shortly after he left basic training. He did see some fighting on Bankor when it was undder attack by the Mandolorians though.

After his four years were over he returned to Alderaan where he has served House Rist loyally for the last few years as a member of House Security and as a Bodyguard to the less physically inclined members of the House.

Kellen Elijah Rist is in the enviable position of being the Grand University of Coruscant's youngest full Professor of Archaeology in living memory. With a raft of honourary positions at Museums and Universities throughout Republic space he is almost never present on campus. His students often joke that you are more likely to discover an ancient species of super-aliens than find Professor Rist in his office. Some of them have only ever seen him via holo. Or read about him on a datapad.

Kellen would much rather be out looking for curious relics in the field, or Llearning a new specialism, than teaching in the lecture hall, and does whatever it takes to keep things that way. He has something of a reputation for writing salty responses to research articles he disagrees with. Unusually for an academic he has also served a few military tours and was actively involved in the battles on Alderaan.

Recently he returned home to study some unusual artifacts that were unearthed on Alderaan during the fighting. At his aunt's behest he has agreed to help House Rist by taking part in the Festival of Flowers.

Entry 1: V1 prototype initialised for the first time today. Core processor activated without issue and unit passed all initial combat tests with 100% success. Installation of experimental armour plates to commence tomorrow.

Entry 7: All basic frame modifications have been made and the armour has melded perfectly to the frame. Main processor evolution is disappointing. Unit does not appear to be progressing to the required mental capacity at this time. Will liase with Project RL7 on how to increase this.

Entry 18: Advanced combat tests are complete. The unit approaches all combat tests placed before it as it's logic circuits say it should. Still not showing the expected sentience, problem solving or lateral thinking we expected from the prototype. Will commence installation of the medical equipment tomorrow in the expectation that medical tests will jump start the processor to the expected levels.


Entry 19: The damn thing was fooling us the entire time. It had quite obviously achieved full sentience very early, perhaps moments after activation and concealed this from us. Somehow it knew what we were intending to use it for. I suspect it has thoroughly penetrated and read our entire network here. Thankfully Project RL7 is on a physically separate server. Last night it broke off it's own restraining bolt which, on review was damaged in the last combat test, breached the armoury and escaped the facility. 26 security droids, 13 security staff and 1 technician were incapacitated during the escape. Initial tracks show it has headed for Mos Eisley. A recapture team has been dispatched.

Boarding Action - Empire Frigate - Death's Glory.

This vessel crippled the Solar Hammer and was crippled in return. Comscan indicated that the Empire vessel was bringing power back online faster then we could. In order to prevent the frigate escaping or destroying my vessel I authorised a boarding action. The droid designated V1-V0 volunteered for this mission before I could even finish the briefing. V1 led the boarding action from an insertion torpedo directly into the Death's Glory engineering section. Despite being under heavy fire from the Empire crew it led our forces to complete victory with much smaller casualties than expected. After full repair I recommend that V1-V0 be promoted to Assault Specialist.


Captain Eramus Kerra - Solar Hammer.

I also recommend that V1 not be allowed anywhere near a medical deck. Even my best technicians have been unable to remove the glitch in it's programming that makes it think it is a medical droid as well as a battledroid.

Unit V1-V0 has once again performed exactly as expected. All seven target bunkers on the north flank were neutralised within the time parameters specified and the only damage taken was superficial. (Repainting of V1-V0 authorised).

Promotion to Gunnery (Technical) Sergeant approved, as is a fourth cluster to its Galaxy Star. After maintenance I recommend this unit be redeployed to wherever the fighting is hardest. It can handle it.

For about 25 years, Brannis Brayko Ulgo was, at least in the eyes of House patriarch Bouris Ulgo, "one of my idiot sister's brats." As a modest student with a generally unassuming personality and patience but little ambition, Brannis seemed destined for a career as a field grade officer in the Ulgo house military. With an unexpectedly high aptitude for flying and multitasking, he ended up a flight commander in the 5th Ulgo Ground Attack Squadron in time for the war with the Sith Empire. He would likely remain an unremarkable figure still, if not for the invasion of Alderaan and the death of his brother Calias.

Active with Republic forces even before the fighting on Alderaan, Bran became especially well-known for flying repeated tactical bombing missions during the battle for his homeworld. Though personally incensed by the invasion, he generally kept his cool in combat and was lucky enough to survive all his missions with no more than minor wounds to himself and crew mates. It gave the local holonews a hero to track as the fighting dragged on and many Alderaanians had lost loved ones, making the relatively unflashy young nobleman a cultural icon -- a symbol of continuing to hit back at the hated Sith -- in pretty short order. The sort to happily orbit quietly around his more outgoing younger brother Calias, Brannis would likely have been happy for the media attention to fade after the war and him to return to quietly leading his squadron.

Then, he learned Calias had died. Bran has not completely processed the fact and aggressively avoids discussing it, though virtually everyone on Alderaan knows that it happened -- and that he flew three sorties the next day. But despite Brannis avoiding playing into the sympathy story -- he spent a week of leave he'd been ordered to take on base to avoid holonews reporters that had staked out the family estate -- but the story didn't need his participation to strike a chord with the Alderaanian public. He buckled down and kept fighting, they did the same, and by the end of the war, many were used to seeing him as "their guy."

Brannis would have been a shoo-in for election to the Commons or the Lords at the next election, but Uncle Bouris wasn't about to lose any of the goodwill and momentum generated by Bran, the people's champion. He made sure to have Bran appointed to a vacancy in the House of Lords shortly after the treaty was signed, making a show of the noble son of House Ulgo taking his oath of office -- in his military uniform, with shiny new distinctions visible. Thinking his nephew would do little with the appointment, Bouris assigned him legislative staff to help with his fan mail and simply keep him out of trouble.

Brannis, feeling the weight of Calias and all the Alderaanian war dead on his shoulders, was not about to be idle with what power he had. To some degree pleasantly surprised that the young war hero actually wants to do things in parliament, his staff, led by chief Kaleena Soff, have worked hard to keep up with his interest in learning about issues, formulating legislation, and being a voice for the proud but war weary people of Alderaan. It's still a work in progress, but he does seem to be learning from Kaleena and the team, and maybe is winning some friends among parliament members for his diligent work.

The potential succession crisis is not something that Bran really understands or wants to deal with. But he knows what Uncle Bouris and Cousin Yula want, that it's at best foolish to stand in their way, and that the thing most Alderaanians really want is an end to crisis. The festival should provide that briefly, and Brannis is ready to work as hard as he has to to make sure the hard-won peace lasts even longer.
