One-stop Bar Hop [Day 2, EN]

[Nudimsu]

Nudimsu could definitely see the red becoming more predominant in Riss' as he looked at her face thru the infrared, as a small crack of a smile crossed over his face. "Indeed. The barkeep could earn her high favor every few minutes."

He looked at Omandri Rist and nods. "Normally, depending on the missions, we take on additional people to help cover our needs and the needs of the client. When we fought at Bankor, we took on several others to fill in additional needs We actually need a dedicated gunner since our last one is currently dealing with his consistent need of Tihaar. Never really had a doctor there before, though." He said, thinking about it. "Beyond Hacha losing his arm that one time, never really had a need for it, either." He nodded, though his thoughts really did not make him any happier about that experience.

[Omandri Rist]

"Kriff man you've been through the wringer for sure. Buddy lost an arm on top of everything else? And you've been. To Bankor? A lot of you Bankor vets around here. I've talked to....four? Maybe five I think." He said as he took a long drink from his glass "My man you are built from some tough stuff."

"I saw one or two that I recognized. One was wearing a shirt this time." He nodded. "I didn't really get to know many of them, though, so I have no former comrades to potentially get to see again. Met a Panteer there that I was expecting to be here for all of this celebration, though, but she was busy with academic duties or something. Other than her, not much to talk about with them." He shrugged. "We fought hard for them, got paid, and then we left. Only fought there because the job paid well and someone I trusted needed the help with it. I have no romanticisms about my war stories, really."

Omandri had finished and replenished his drink while Nudismu spoke and nodded along with the story "Well that is a rather cold interpretation of your services to the Republic but hey man you know what youre about and that's more than a lot of people can say." He said taking a drink of the new glass. "So did you say what brought you here for the festival then? It's certainly not for romance." He said chuckling a little his Composure degrading a little under the effects of the alcohol.

"It's much like Bankor; favor for a friend and to get paid." He said with a smile. "Though I am learning much about conception of love and romance while I am here. So I suppose you could say this is a work-study."

"I sincerely doubt I'll find a mate here by the time the festival ends, but understanding you humans a little more is quite helpful, especially in a regard you put too much thought and effort into."
