[Day 10 - LE] Flower Crowning

[Layne Hoshin]

"My muse has arrived, the Champion of Alderaan, slayer of injustice, madam you have a most brusque manner but I am charmed all the same, will you accept this crown as a sign of my devotion to you," Jerri said once he saw his muse.

"Wait... what?" She looked behind her to find the weird guy who had called her names, ran through the fire after her, then held her hand when she woke up and... oh. Oooh.

"...wait, *you* sent the note? What... what is this?"

[Jerri Organa]

"Aha, I did, and now you are here enjoying this moment of my crowning of thee," he said warmly.

[Layne Hoshin]

"Okay," she really thought she'd nailed the confusion part, but apparently had not expressed it clearly enough. Time to try again.

"But... *what is this* about?"

[Dapper Dog]

After the royals had taken centre stage, as was their right, Garth approached Miyi with a crown in hand.

Sturdy gingerbells made up the foundation of the architectural extravaganza, with trumpeting t'iil blossoms standing tall and proud entwined with bright, red ladalumswhile strands of rainbow oro lichen dangled down from the edges to frame a delicate and perfect face.

"Baroness Miyi Thul, this mega dork would be honored if ye would accept this crown, mah hand and mah heart. For this day an' all the days that follow."

Miyi smiled and then was quiet and then took his hand and the crown and said, “You really are in love with me, that’s good because I love you too.”

She hopped in his arms and enjoyed a passionate kiss.

"It's a flower crown, like in the legends, madam, surely you know of it? I am offering it to you because I find you to be, while albeit a bit odd, very endearing and if you accept it, then we show our affections. I know it's not proper for a Jedi to have such attachments but I am something of a bad boy, so," he said with a cultured smile.

"But you don't even know..." she stopped herself because she could already see that wasn't going to do anything.

There was a sigh, as she tried to get some semblance of sanity back.

"...okay so... tell me how you imagine things proceeding from here."

He placed a crown on her head and said, "Whatever happens we have tonight, Jedi Knight Hoshin. We can decide what it means later!"

And then I write my masterpiece he considered.

[Garth Wayne Ulgo]

Miyi smiled and then was quiet and then took his hand and the crown and said, “You really are in love with me, that’s good because I love you too.”

She hopped in his arms and enjoyed a passionate kiss.

Garth kissed Miyi back as he held her body to his own. "Yes, it's very good." He agreed as he let his emotions be bared on this most appropriate of occasions.

She stared at him incredulously for a long while. To any on-lookers it might possibly seem like she was deciding whether or not to punch him or just walk away.

Instead, she eventually shrugged and shook her head.

"...Sure. Why not."

One night couldn't hurt... right?

Mighty Jerri was elated and if the Jedi was willing scooped her up in his arms as if he was carrying across the threshold, "Huzzah! I'm the King of the Festival!"

Whether she was willing or not was a bit of a question. But she was still recovering from her grievous injuries so her reactions weren't fast enough to do anything about it, and by the time it was too late she just decided to go with it.

...this has better not come back to haunt me...

[Dapper Dog]

Daz just smiled, that was going on the holonet for sure. Daz said to his viewers, "Love is in the air my dudes, even for the Jedi. Love is in the air. There is no loneliness, there is only the LOVE."

[Nudimsu]

There was a long, pointed stare at the whole affair. Lots of flowers, lots of kissing.

It was all rather uncomfortable to be around. Even Layne and that...really odd Organa from that annoying twit on the Holonet's broadcast seem to be hitting it off. Which, well, could be anyone's guess who would see the appeal in that emotionally driven human. At least the change of mood was welcome, after everything that had occurred. The wounded healing, the dead gathered. Construction would soon begin at this area and soon, it will be another thing that this planet hold's on their backs. Time would heal the wounds of this event, and those around for many.

For him, it was just another day. One last day of this wonderful, but still somewhat pointless romance festival.

"At least the population will be increased by this chain of events", he said to nobody in particular.

[Baesal Zyn]

Daz just smiled, that was going on the holonet for sure. Daz said to his viewers, "Love is in the air my dudes, even for the Jedi. Love is in the air. There is no loneliness, there is only the LOVE."

Baesal came up behind the camera, smiling. She did not say much and simply enjoyed the moment.

[Blai Frayus]

A certain scholar noticed he was actually happy about how things turned out. He had had his heart touched, that much was clear. But as he thought about it now, as the last few days went by... he somehow felt this was to be.

He'd seen the great couple they made. He'd made two very good friends. In a way... he felt he was almost hoping they ended up together.

That all said, it was still somewhat bittersweet.

But today was not a day for the bitter part of that. So he put on not noble regalia, but his comfortable cargo clothes, and made his way to the gardens, a flower crown around his neck, one on his hands, the trusty Elur following him happily.

As he got there, he knew he'd done the right thing. Couples and friends around gifting flower crowns to each other, cheering and kissing.

He knelt down close to the Icewolf, who was looking at him curiously as he took her attention away from all the movement around. He petted her head, then her neck, with a grin that gradually became a wide smile. Then, happily, he took the flower crown in both hands and, carefully so as not to ruin it in the process, he placed it around the Icewolf's neck.

She felt it curiously, sniffed it, moved around as if trying to shake it off for a while. Then, moving her head around some more as he patted her back and said some soothing words, she actually seemed to get more or less comfortable with it. He got her large head in his hands, touched his forehead to her muzzle with a large grin, then finally got up, and off they went.

A man and a wolf with flower crowns around their necks frolicking about happily.

It was surprisingly fitting.
