[Day 6 - LA] Clean Up Aisle Five

Omandri had yet to miss an opportunity to give back or be part of one of the princesses projects. He was there along side his cousin and their guard Gil cleaning up around the shrine. He was also feeling a little worn down from last night's late night activities but he was powering through it with a smile as he picked up various bits of trash and discarded items.

Spotting a flash of crimson among some flowering bushes, Gil reached towards it but stopped after closer inspection and called over a droid. Apparently someone had been doing a bit of 'celebrating' nearby and forgot a piece of their attire. Or lost it admidst the passion more liek it. Either way, it wasn't somethign he was goign to touch without a pair of gloves.

Jameela busied herself with picking up litter and hummed to herself, it was to do good after all the silliness of the morning.

Galen approached, carrying a container to collect the refuse the volunteers have accumulated. He just smiled at Jameela as he took what she had.

The Jedi engineer was also present, doing what she could to help

[Blai Frayus]

Lana picked up some refuse and handed it off to a droid to dispose of.

This time it's not Jameela herself that Blai walks cloesr to while working, but her faithful shadow during the last few days.

"'s good to work to see things cleared up and fine again after all's done, isn't it, miss... Beniko, was it?", he says slowly, doing his best to put up a friendly smile.

Nudimsu did not like that.

Joking about a such a inquiry. "I see." His face did not change in his expression, but there was some judging going on, and he was already more focused on reading her heat signatures to not miss any other failed attempts at humor.

"Hit it and quit it? What a strange expression. Like doing surgical strikes, but with mating. Well, in any case, the fact you were joking does put me slightly at ease. I would rather not make things too strange if I were to approach the princess and Lana again."

He nodded. "The protesters are likely a distraction to a larger game at play. A game that I have little interest in taking part in, but you are not afforded that luxury. Relax at your own peril."

He noticed Galen and made a wave motion at him in greeting. All he could do was hope his wingman role was a success for him.

Jocasta was shocked into silence for a few moments after his mention of the Princess and Lana Beniko. Unsure of which was more startling, she watched the man he waved to continue on to said Princess.

"Well, if you are dealing with royalty and... diplomats, then it's a different situation entirely. I can't make any type of educated guess about Delegate Beniko's intentions, but I highly doubt Princess Jameela is looking for anything... so physical immediately." She floundered as she spoke.

"That is excellent, I feel that if her intentions were such it would only bring distress, as she was the target of the wingman operation for someone else, it would only be strange that her attention then turned to me." Though, there is the question of Lana. Maybe not push that one so quickly; not until he could get his head together, at least. "So, how should someone approach them, after having a date with them?"

"Ah, wingman. For your friend then?" She asked pointing towards Galen who was gathering trash with Jameela. "He seems to possibly need more wingmanning. Your task as a wingman is not to attract attention to yourself, but to focus the positive attention on your friend." Jocasta thinks a moment about Lana's attachment to the Princess. "And possibly to distract her friend so your friend can have a chance to connect with his date."

She ponders his primary question, "Considering who you are talking about, I would recommend sending them small gifts, as a thank you for the date. If you are trying to help your friend, you can say something nice about him with your gift to the Princess. Remember, a wingman puts the focus on his friend. As for Delegate Beniko, if you are interested in her, you could ask her out on another date when you send her your gift." Jocasta smiled satisfied with her matchmaker advice.

Gal explained it to me, and I have no doubt that I was successful in the task." He also looked at Lana and back at the Lt. "I suppose I am interested in her; she's rather intriguing. Quite the logical human, actually. A rare find when I find one of your kind who is able to not completely succumb to their emotions with every subject, if I must say." Nudimsu nodded, though he was not really sure what being interested in someone required a second date in such a setting. She was just enjoyable company, after all. "So, what kind of gifts would be traditional in a thank you? I assume flowers, since the romantic nature of this festival implies that flowers are rather important to the nature of love among humans."

"I would usually say flowers are a safe bet; however, if Ms. Beniko is a very logical woman and not very emotional, she may not like them. I never cared for flowers myself. They look good for a few days and then they're gone.

From how you have described her, I would recommend a practical gift of some sort. Maybe an article of clothing. Since she is in the Princess's company so often and the Princess is very fashionable, a nice accessory or new piece of clothing might be appreciated."

Well there was one subject he had never even learnt how to adapt to. Fashion was illogical to its core, a constant shifting scope of trends and emotions that did not interest him. Chiss wore tactical appropriate outfits on Csilla, save for the leaders of the Houses, who wore robes with their House colors during their meetings.

He couldn't even hide his emotional state about how much, if anything, he knew about this subject matter; his eyes were uncharacteristically wider than before. "I...suppose that is a good idea. Would you have any suggestions?"

He gives her a slightly awkward smile, perhaps a bit surprised by the laconic answer. After a slightly too long silence, he speaks again: "Are you enjoying the festival? I take it you hadn't been to one before?"

"It has been a positive experience, thank you, Lord Frayus. I hope you are enjoying your accelerated courtship," she responded.

Jocasta looked over at Lana, then at Jameela, and then back at Lana. She doubted Lana would be a fan of the Jedi-chic she'd been seeing around the Festival. Best to stick with a classic.

"Maybe something light and colorful, like a sundress. Yellow to match her eyes, maybe a floral print... But no reds though."

[Blai Frayus]

"It has been a positive experience, thank you, Lord Frayus. I hope you are enjoying your accelerated courtship," she responded.

Accelerated courtship. He lingered on the words for a while, and felt a grin forcing itself on his lips. She wasn't wrong...

"Oh, just Blai is fine!", He says waving his hands. "Ah...it has been fun and...interesting, I suppose?" A fond look at Jameela before turning his eyes to the woman again. "It's... well, I'm very happy for the chance to meet the princess more closely. And regardless of... how things turn out", he says, eyes looking towards the distance for a while, as if daydreaming or thinking about something for a while "ah... I mean, it's a cherished chance to build friendships as well, right?", he adds with a kind, if again somewhat awkward smile.

"That makes me wonder, though. Might I ask how it was that you and Jameela grew closer?"

He nodded and shrugged. "Sundress." Humans had outfits to wear for different weather situations. It would make sense for them to have one for the as well for the sun and their moons. "Of course. The sun here is not red, so I could see why it would not work."
