"Far smaller than it seems." he nodded. Galen returned his attention to Jameela with a smile. "I confess, I don't know what dinner is. I asked them to prepare your favorite."

He turned his head to the princess and nodded. "Yes, you are correct. I would imagine not, princess. We do not venture out into these areas too frequently, save for our exiled and those in service to the alliance with Empire."

He nodded and looked at Lana. "I happen to be the former. I left the Ascendency when I was 14."

"Why did you leave?" she asked the Chiss. Jameela then said to Galen, "How did you two meet?"

He looked at the princess. "I had some hesitancy on the alliance between the Empire and the Ascendency. I decided, based upon this hesitancy I would best serve the Ascendency well by not being around while the alliance remains in place. It was agreed upon and I left, unable to return." Looking over to Lana, he stared at her, looking her over. "That is not to say that I do not respect the Empire, of course. Your effectiveness and efficiency, in many regards, comes close to our own. It is a trait worthy of a ally of the Ascendency. My objection is merely our involvement within it."

"It was in passing." he gave a dismissive wave. "On Nar Shadda, you asked me to step aside, so you could see someone. It was a brief interaction, but you did leave an impression. I met Durasay a moment later. Moyr, as well."

"That was you, small galaxy," she said with no amusement.

"Ahh, so that is how you met him." He looks over at Galen. "Coincidences upon coincidences with this meeting. For instance, I know...I believe it she is to be your cousin, perhaps? Lyseil Panteer? I am unfamiliar with the ranks of which your human relations work, mostly giving titles of cousins to family relations and close friends, as I understand it."

“Yes Lyseil, she is wonderful, I am surprised you know her… but she is so adventurous I shouldn’t be surprised,” she said.

"She served with us on Bankor." Galen said. "So many of us from that time are here on Alderaan, now. It makes me feel certain that I was meant to be here."

“I don’t believe in fate or destiny, but it is… intriguing that so many of us from Bankor have arrived on Alderaan,” Lana added.

He turned to Lana and stared at her with a long look. "I would concur with you." He nodded. "Merely a interesting set of coincidences, nothing more to take from it. "

She was remarkably agreeable, this one. "The setting of this festival is rather important, and many of the people of importance were there had connections or interests to come to this festival and see it thru to the end. Even myself, thru Durasay, who came here thru business of Pantoran. Fate had little decision in my arrival, merely my duty. Nor his, in his planet's decisions to bring him here."

"Maybe it's just me, then." Galen said, eyes locked on Jameela. "Perhaps, I'm the one here to meet his future."

"To marry a Panteer Princess?" Lana asked focusing her eyes on him.

Jameela blushed and said, "I am sure he means like... you know, starting a new business or something."

He also focused his eyes on Gal as well, looking for a response from his comment. This is what a wingman meant, after all; being there to assist him. Surely, he was helping with getting everyone focused on his answer.

"Of course." he nodded, smiling. "Maybe a bakery, or something like that."

"Of course." he nodded, smiling. "Maybe a bakery, or something like that."

"Really? Like with cookies and cakes... and all the sweets... and chocolate drizzled chocolate cookies death by chocolate... goodness?" she said.

"And I guess bread."

"I did tell the staff to make sure there was desert." he assured her, as appetizers were set down and wine glasses filled.

Lana pulled a wine glass to her hand and began drinking, it was going to be one of those nights.

"Everyone did seem really interested with your baking today, from what I saw. Perhaps, though it could be used a good hobby instead of a complete career shift?" He looked at him curiously. "Not much of a profession to go with, to be honest. Seems rather seasonal and dependent on moods and interests to make a consistent profit." The princess did seem interested in such a move, though. Still, he had to provide backup from him.

Wingmen had to make sure the pilot was on the correct flight path.

He turned to Lana. "I suppose you have hobbies as well?"

"Technically." He new Nudismu liked technicalities. "It wasn't baked."

“You are going to be terrible for my dress size, but I hear Nar Shaddaa big hips are all the rage… and also twi’leks… over sexualized female twi’leks… ugh Hutts are so disgusting. And don’t even get me started on those gross slave dancing outfits… it’s just awful,” she said now frowning at upsetting herself.

A number of thoughts regarding Nar Shadda, hutts and twi’leks passed through Galen's mind. None of them were particularly good for this conversation.

He took a generous sip of wine, before saying anything.

"I won't give you any more sweets than necessary, I promise."

[Nudimsu]

"Technically." He new Nudismu liked technicalities. "It wasn't baked."

"Oh?" He said with a genuine interest. "Well, I would suppose such recipes would save on power costs for such a establishment." He nodded his head and smiled. Showing that he was both economical and efficient with resources was a genius move to show his value to the princess. Very impressive for a human to come up with such a response on the fly.

He gave him a look of approval for it.

He looked to the princess and shook his head. "Yes, I was discussing with someone yesterday about that topic, so I took it upon myself to research more about humans and their enjoyment of exposed skin. Apparently, from my research on the holonet, there seems to be more of a interest in exposed Twi’leks than other humans, it seems. Rather confusing. Making them slaves, naturally, I can understand. Base human urges and all that. Still a contemptable act, of course; The Ascendency never practiced it. But why Twi’leks specifically? Maybe there's something about their...what's their tentacle called again? Lekke? Lepi?"

“Humans are a dominant species in the galaxy and in form, twi’leks have similar body shapes, no body hair and often comely features especially among the women. Fetishization of the species was inevitable especially in areas neighboring Hutt space,” Lana replied.
