"When it comes to slaves, there's always a buyer, for one purpose or another." he finally said. "But, some are easier to both acquire and sell in specific markets. I wish I had the means to stop it. All of it."

“Humans are a dominant species in the galaxy and in form, twi’leks have similar body shapes, no body hair and often comely features especially among the women. Fetishization of the species was inevitable especially in areas neighboring Hutt space,” Lana replied.

Nudimsu stared at Lana, thinking thoughfully about her statement for a few moments. "Yes, I suppose that would make sense. They're something familiar, but at the same time, different. Humans do enjoy trying new and different things, yet often do not cross over too far beyond what is norm. It's interesting, I must say." He gave the idea a long thought before looking over at Lana and nodded. "Though, to the previous mention, I must say your outfit at the beach yesterday was quite wonderful; thought it was rather genius to wear it, personally."

"I take no pleasure in thinking of any creature in such condition, Twi’lek or otherwise. Hindering someone from their potential in forced labor only takes away their potential they have to give to the collective good of their species in a meaningful way. I would assume many Twi’leks could be doing other things to improve themselves and their species other than dancing. Not that there is anything wrong with dancing, of course. I rather enjoy it, myself."

Galen said something to the waiter as they came by. With a nod, they departed. He watched Jameela as the conversation continued.

At the mention of her swimwear she responded, "It seemed fitting for the setting."

"You did go to Gaul's party! I was wondering. What swimwear? I can't imagine Lana at a beach," Jameela questioned.

[Nudimsu]

There was a nod. "Indeed it was." As Layne seemed to be upset over discussing the tactical advantages of such swimwear, he thought it best not to proceed with that line of questioning further what more information.

Although the princess did ask, so something should be said.

"It showcased much of her physical strengths as a human woman, bringing attention to her chest area as well as her inner thighs and midriff, while showcasing much of her skin. Thus, it was a move to establish herself in a position of strength among the other females by gathering attention to the men interested in such a thing."

He nodded while looking at her. "And it was white."

“Wow that sounds very daring, I have had too much sweets in the last week to even dare wear something like that,” she admitted.

Lana said, “Nonsense, you would look fine, Jameela.” She then focused her yellow eyes on the Chiss and said, “That is an astute observation, though the eyes of the men or women was irrelevant. I knew it looked good, and that was enough.”

"I have no doubt you would be striking, princess." Galen assured her. "I'll admit, it is a sight I'd like to see. But, I think your beauty is most obvious when you're comfortable and enjoying yourself, like when I saw you reading or during the opera."

Jameela looks embarrassed and said, "It's... thank you Galen, it is appreciated."

[Lana Beniko]

"I have no doubt you would be striking, princess." Galen assured her. "I'll admit, it is a sight I'd like to see. But, I think your beauty is most obvious when you're comfortable and enjoying yourself, like when I saw you reading or during the opera."

"So what did you get up to on the Smuggler's Moon, Galen, that was a rather eventful time if I recall," she responded.

"Like many there, I had debts to work off. The price of freeing myself from my past." he said. "I did a lot of questionable things. A was a hired gun, a thief, a smuggler and, sometimes, a hunter. Of course, those jobs just led to other debts and other costs. But, I made some friends and found my way, eventually."

[Nudimsu]

"I would agree as well, it would look good on you." He nodded his heads going along with the crowd.

Okay, so he can say that someone would look good in one and her thermals go wild. I tell Layne the same thing, and she seems upset over the suggestion of it.

"I see..so not only is it a display for others, it can also be used as a display of ones own self-confidence." Nudimsu nodded. "Almost 10 years into it and I am still learning new things about humans." Granted, now it seemed less interesting to him since it was all about ego, rather than a logic game. That didn't make the thought of either of the three women wearing it any less appealing to him on a persona-- Nope... not going there. Got to focus on the task at hand..

He took a deep breath and reached for some water to get his mind back on track, looking at Lana again before quickly dashing his eyes back on Galen.

"One does what one can to survive out here in the Core Worlds and beyond, I have noticed. I would not look down upon Galen for his past decisions, princess; life outside of this beautiful area is different. If it were not for Durasay taking a chance on me and taking me in, I would have likely have done many unscrupulous things to survive, myself, and done so without having lost a minute of sleep." He placed down his glass and nodded once more.

"The point, to put it within the context of a game, is that you should always consider the moves one has done previously. To not do so would be foolish. However, one must also consider the moves thrown against them, and try to see the pattern they are going for with their future steps."

He stood there quiet for a few moments before speaking again.. "I do hope I am being understood with this; allegory just seems like such a waste of time, personally, but it seems to work well with you humans. That and idioms."

As the main course arrived, the light ambient music that had been quietly playing changed to a soft, smooth jazz.

Jameela vibed with the music while she listened.

"Struggle is a natural aspect of the universe, resources are finite, from a galactic scale to a personal one. All things move to entropy, complexity broken down to simplicity," Lana replied. "A hired gun? Any stories you care to share, Galen?"

"Not tonight." he shook his head. "I'd rather dance. Princess? May I have the honor?"

Jameela is surprised and said, "Umm... yes, okay! I am so nervous, sorry I am not the best dancer." While a graceful woman, Jameela is not a dancer by any means but she isn't terrible either.

"I'm not either." he said as he took her aside. "But, I felt we needed a break from the conversation. And, a moment to ourselves."

Galen is light on his feet, but is still favoring his right arm.
