Black Tie Prison [D5, EE]

[Nudimsu]

It was mostly a boring night for Nudimsu. Lots to eat, drink, and watch. Lots to see, lots to enjoy. He hated it, really. Lots of people wandering around here, lots to enjoy. Wearing another human suit to meet the demand. His people wore robes for these events, decorated with their House colors and pride in it. Now here he was, standing out on the water, watching the waves. HIs hand was on a whiskey, drinking; it helped keep him strong when being surrounded by lots of people. Too many faces, lots of heat to read and to understand.

Just could never get used to it, even after all these years being surrounded by the other species. So, best bet was to get outside and get some air; just breathe a little and look upon the water and the moon above before going back out there.

Rather serene, actually; could paint a picture of it.

The serenity was soon broken.

"Nudismu? The table's ready." Galen said. "I appreciate you're accompanying me. I owe you a favor."

[Nudimsu]

Nudimsu looked at Galen and nodded a bit. He met him a long while back and, after yesterday with it was clear he needed more practice with interacting with humans. Oh sure, what was about to happen would be the equilievent to throwing a toddler into the deep end of a pool to teach it how to swim, but this offered him a chance to better understand this species with it's needs and desires.

Which were, of course, incredibly infantile and emotionally driven.

But, still, a favor is a favor. "Quite alright to do this. Hopefully your efforts will be successful with my assistance." He did mention that he was to be a "wingman". To be honest, the reason he first agreed to it was because he thought it had to do with flying something. Still, this was educational and important. "Lead on, Galen."

Galen still a little nervous. The opera had seemed to go well. Better than he had thought it would when he received the invitation. But, he wanted to see more of the princess, especially after the incident in the morning.

The staff had set up a small, private dinning room with an expansive view . Once he explained who he intended to dine with, they had insisted on arranging everything.

"They should be here shortly." he said to the chiss.

Lana arrived wearing a beautiful green gown, with edges that shift between different shades of green as she moves. She gestured, the chairs for her and the princess pulling out. She sat after the Princess was seated.

Jameela arrived with a more sedate white dress, a change from her ensemble earlier.

"Good evening, thank you for the invitation," she said.

"Thank you both, for accepting." Galen said as he sat down. "Have you met Captain Nudimsu?"

[Lana Beniko]

"Pilot of the Turtle, his reputation precedes him," Lana said calmly.

[Nudimsu]

Nudimsu stood at attention as they sat down to eat before sitting down before sitting down himself. "I am pleased to have been invited this evening to dine with you." A rehearsed line, of course, but he did try to do his best with it. "You both look visually appealing in your outfits." Very important to compliment appearances, he was told. Good of him to remember that.

And with a sudden realization, he was paired with the woman with the scantily clad swimsuit. There was something amusing about coincidence, even if he never trusted them. She even heard about him before. Could be something. Could be she did research prior to this. Best to be smart about it.

"I have heard a few stories about you as well, Lana Beniko." Layne's story was rather interesting, maybe he could find out more about her and, well, if she even cared she was here. "Hopefully my reputation is also as complimentary."

[Lana Beniko]

"You are considered competent," she said in reply.

[Nudimsu]

"Excellent to hear." He nodded his head, not showing any level of pleasure from the compliment.

[Lana Beniko]

"What brings you so far from the Chiss Ascendency?" she asked.

[Jameela Panteer]

"I have never met your species before, Nudimsu, was it?" she asked. "Chiss? Is that the proper name?"

[Nudimsu]

He turned his head to the princess and nodded. "Yes, you are correct. I would imagine not, princess. We do not venture out into these areas too frequently, save for our exiled and those in service to the alliance with Empire."

He nodded and looked at Lana. "I happen to be the former. I left the Ascendency when I was 14."

[Lana Beniko]

She said nothing at the reveal.

He turned his head to the princess and nodded. "Yes, you are correct. I would imagine not, princess. We do not venture out into these areas too frequently, save for our exiled and those in service to the alliance with Empire."

He nodded and looked at Lana. "I happen to be the former. I left the Ascendency when I was 14."

"Why did you leave?" she asked the Chiss. Jameela then said to Galen, "How did you two meet?"

"Why did you leave?" she asked the Chiss. Jameela then said to Galen, "How did you two meet?"

"We have an acquaintance in common, Durasay Mixo." he explained. "As such, we've crossed paths a few times, including on Bankor."

He turned to look at the Sith, as if just realizing something. "Actually, I believe I met Durasay when I first met you, Lana."

[Lana Beniko]

"Durasay... he's a senator last I heard. Do refresh my memory, Galen," she said focusing her yellow eyes on the man.

"It was in passing." he gave a dismissive wave. "On Nar Shadda, you asked me to step aside, so you could see someone. It was a brief interaction, but you did leave an impression. I met Durasay a moment later. Moyr, as well."

[Lana Beniko]
