Delmi would move quickly to eliminate the bodyguards before they collected themselves…

[Layne Hoshin]

Layne ignored the screams she heard through the force for the time being, and would ignite her darksaber, and, seeing Delmi focus on the guard, would rush toward the woman instead...

[Dapper Dog]

"You have resolve, you win this round," she said submitting.

[Layne Hoshin]

She made sure to keep the saber aimed at the woman in case she tried anything.

"I am placing you under arrest," she said, "Now, if you could please tell me where to find Vidara too, that'd be great. Her future will look a lot less bleak if you help us bring her in, rather than letting her carry through with whatever idiotic nonsense you and your Star Cabal buddies put her up to."

"You good over there?" She asked Delmi.

[Dapper Dog]

The woman stayed silent.

[Delmi Koor]

Delmi's blaster remained fixed on her mother for a moment... the urge to end her that had always resided somewhere in her since she was a small girl came boiling up to the surface.

This is it... this is the moment...

The muscles tensed in her index finger... pulling on the trigger as far as it would go before firing.

It would feel so good...

Her muscles loosed and she flipped a switch on the gun to set it to stun.

A pew issued forth from the blaster and the circular blast of a stun laser traveled to hit Delmi's mother.

"Let's take that speeder and get out of here..." She reached down and hefted her mother onto her shoulder.

[Layne Hoshin]

"That was... on stun... right?" Layne said, after watching Delmi's mom drop to the floor. It was mostly a rhetorical question, letting some of the tension out in the process. She assumed Delmi was smart and pragmatic enough to not let personal feelings get the better of her in this moment.

So, she then turned on her communicator, dialing local emergency services to report that the power outage caused issues, people might be trapped in elevator shafts and suffering from failing life support issues. It was the best she could do right now. Hopefully it'd do someone some good.

At the same time, as she was informing emergency services of the situation, she went over to the Hutt's desk and started rummaging through it. The hutt himself too, and anything else in the room that might look like it might contain anything relevant to the case. They obviously didn't kill the slug for nothing; he *knew* things. Maybe some of the things he knew weren't just contained in his brain.

Nothing incriminating for their "case" just basic casino stuff from what she can see.

[Layne Hoshin]

"Alright, I'm not seeing anything useful at a glance here," she yelled back to Delmi as she headed over to one of the guards to pick him up; assuming he was actually alive instead of dead. They might need more than just the mom for interrogation purposes.

"Emergency services should be on the way to deal with the people trapped in elevator shafts and what not," she said; possibly revealing information about her actions that Delmi hadn't known, "Maybe once we're clear you can call up your trustworthy contacts and get them to bark some orders at local authorities, get them to do a more thorough sweep of the place. The hutt's computers might have intel."

[Delmi Koor]

Delmi placed her mother down in the speeder and nodded towards Layne.

The guards were most likely dead... as Delmi tended to be rather efficient in eliminating people.

She tapped her communicator, "Theron... gonna need a safe place back on Alderaan in a couple of hours. Also maybe a bit of cleanup at the Royal Casino... scrub the computers for evidence and whatnot."

[Dapper Dog]

No answer.

[Delmi Koor]

Fuuuck...

Damn... what was the name of his superior? Agent Wren or something...

She tried to circle through her comm connections to see if she had Agent Wren's number.

[Dapper Dog]

Wren answered via voice, "This is Agent Wren Yuris, a bit busy so please be quick."

[Delmi Koor]

"I was trying to get a hold of Theron... but no answer. This is Delmi Koor. We've apprehended an agent of the Cunning Man. The one who goes by Wyrmtongue76 online. We're going to need a safe house prepared in the next couple of hours. Also... Might need a tech crew to sweep some computer systems for additional evidence. The target killed a known associate of the Cunning Man, Tabasa the Hutt." She replied.

[Dapper Dog]

“Agent Shan,” she said idly and then responded, “Last I got from him was he was looking into something for an asset in House Thul, been about sixteen hours since last check in. Did you say Cunning Man? Yeah we can get that set up for you.”

“Nice work.”

[Delmi Koor]

"Sixteen hours?" Delmi asked with a hint of concern.

That could be troubling...

"Tell him to contact me if he checks in..."

[Dapper Dog]

"Will do," she responded. "Hrrm, he isn't responding to a priority call... that's not good. I am going to have to call you back. We'll handle the rest, Agent Yuris out."

[Delmi Koor]

Delmi turned to Layne as soon as she was finished.

"SIS know. They're sending people out. We need to get back to Alderaan with the package."

[Layne Hoshin]

"Why does that name sound familiar?" She asked idly.

Of course, Theron Shan had travelled on the Sunset Dawn once before, many years back when it was travelling to Bankor. But that was not something Layne would probably remember right this very instant.

"Anyway, sounds like trouble?"

[Delmi Koor]

She nodded and got into the driver’s seat of the speeder.

“The agent I work with is missing… That’s never a good thing in this world. Just like things aren’t good for our passenger right now.”
