Trust Issues [Day 5, LN]

[Riss]

"Yea, I.. understand that. Better reason than I got," she chuckles, shaking her head a little. Pushing herself up again she shifts around, swinging a leg over and straddles him. Laying her hands down on his chest for support, "See, I'm just a girl who figured out she had a conscience when she almost helped sell some folk to the Empire. Ran away, saved them, and has been figuring out what that means ever since. Home feels, felt? Feels like a good place to start with everything going on," she leans in, kissing him once before leaning back up again. "Didn't believe it at first but.. I think I can do good things here. Better things than I've done."

"We're just a couple of folk trying hard to do the right thing, you and me, mm?" she smiles, a soft laugh as she reaches up with one of her hands and brushes hair from his forehead.

[Dapper Dog]

“I am sorry you got dragged into this, if it’s any consolation everything between us is real, at least I’m real,” he admitted.

[Riss]

"It's.. okay," she says, the slight hesitation not being uncertainty but really cementing in the thought. "I could explain why in a few ways, but it doesn't really matter mm? It's okay. You're.." she laughs, putting her hand brushing his forehead to his cheek. "You're real, and I trust you. I believe you. I.." she stops. Staring down at him for ten seconds and then leans in, kissing him again. This time more affectionate, slower, she took her time with it.

Breaking the kiss she leans back, not moving far away from him, "I'm.. not sure what I should do now. Well," she chuckles softly, "I know what I'm going to do now, but.. Kat confided in me about everything. She believes you're part of the problem. I'm not sure what to do about it. I'm not sure I can.. she can be.." she shakes her head.

[Dapper Dog]

"Do what you think is best," he said honestly.

[Riss]

Riss starts leaning in toward him again, "I'll probably have more questions," she leans in a bit more. "Answers I'll need," she says, less a question and more a warning. Eyes glancing down toward his lips briefly before looking back to his in the close space.

He gave her a reassuring nod that he could do that.

[Riss]

Smiling brightly she leans up until their lips are almost touching, "Thank you," sealing the kiss. Once more she had no intention of stopping. Not until the sun would threaten to rise again.
