Day 6 EM: One Hive Inspection please!

It had been a few days since she had last come here with Breela and the team and it still felt wrong despite the human element taking over once more.

Perhaps they would learn more now with access to all the hive and, let's hope, not too much interruptions.

Now only to wait for Baron Pozi and the expedition members

[Count Serenno]

The Count answered the summons, arriving on some rented transport. He was dressed in Serennian field uniform without distinctions, though he kept a cape. Upon alighting, he stopped silent, and gazed toward the horizon with a pensive expression, then he shook his head sighing and moved to greet the Togruta.

[Dapper Dog]

The Baron waiting with about six Syresh guardsmen led by a gungan soldier. He seemed cheerful.

The hive itself had several workers already dismantling or demolishing parts of with people glad to get these bugs off their land.

Baesal moved towards the count with a smile

''Good morning Count Serenno. You arrived just in time! Our hosts are already waiting for us''

[Count Serenno]

"Good morning, Knight Zyn. Are you familiar with our hosts here?" He returned the courtesy by smiling charmingly.

[Baesal Zyn]

''I have met the baron but once.'' she explains ''He allowed our access to the hive remnants but wanted to come with us for precaution''

She nodded towards the other group

''Shall we go?''

[Count Serenno]

"Of course." The Count nodded, following the Jedi forth.

''Good morning Baron Pozi. Thank you once again for allowing us to inspect your reclaimed lands...this is Count Serenno. He wished to accompany us, I hope it will not be a problem?''

[Dapper Dog]

"Not familiar with the Serenno house, but welcome. I don't mind, not much going on really just tearing down them damn hives and reclaiming what's ours," he said.

[Baesal Zyn]

''Good to know.'' she said with a neutral smile ''Shall we begin the tour then?''

[Dapper Dog]

The Baron showed them the grounds around the hive and heavy equipment they had brought out to knock down the hive and excavate the lost structures of House Syresh. He was pleased with the progress and made sure to explain that he feels within a year they will have the hive completely gone and these areas ready for people to live and do house business.

Baesal takes interest in what id going on: the hive structure, the material used and keeps an eye for any thing out of the ordinary

''Do you know why the killiks began to move here Baron?''

[Dapper Dog]

“If I knew that, I would tell you. We have been at conflict with the bugs for decades. They keep encroaching and we have to keep pushing them back. You would think the stupid things would realize this is our land,” he said honestly.

[Baesal Zyn]

''When did the conflict begin?'' she inquired ''Do you recall the circumstances?''

[Dapper Dog]

“Before my time, just know they always come back, persistent little bugs,” he said bitterly. “We are not the only ones, sometimes they even swarm and then it takes a joint offensive to handle the pests.”

[Baesal Zyn]

''Mmmmh'' she frowns ''Could you send us maps and a registry of the encounters when you are able. I am curious to know if they have any underlying reasons to strike here''

[Dapper Dog]

"I will see if we can get that information, master Jedi," he said curiously. "Is there something you are looking for specifically?"

[Baesal Zyn]

''Since our knowledge of the killiks is limited it is hard to search for something specific'' she replied honestly

[Dapper Dog]

"Why do we care about those bugs?" he countered.

[Count Serenno]

For now, beyond the initial pleasantries and explaining that Serenno is a planet, the Count merely listened and studied the hive, letting the Jedi carry the conversation.
