(D5 MM) The Truth is Out There

[Cynella Andrim]

Cynella led the way forward, willing to redirect the backwards jog so that it wouldn't collide into or trample over anything. "Colors isn't what's important, honestly. It's just... one of those little things, you know? Of course, there's also the big stuff, but all of it still comprises who we are as people."

She sighed. "If I ever have to do something like this for my kids, I'm going to have a much bigger questionnaire time."

[Riss]

Riss finally pivoted on her heel, mid-jog, and sped up a bit to catch up with original pace and a little bit more. Giving her some time to think, and just feel the morning a bit, "How many questions do you think you'd out on your questionnaire? Think.. think I'd have someone write one up for me, mm?"

"Get that questionnaire looking real spiffy.. hundred questions at least with some of them doubled up to make sure folk are being honest. Or just to trip them up with a few.. that'd be funny," she remarks, glancing up and blowing air out. Feeling the jog a little, the ache to just want to crawl back into bed, the loss of motivation.

"How many questions? Huh, I haven't really thought about that. This is, after all, something that I thought about only recently." Perhaps the why didn't occur to her because she'd become accustomed to other people telling her what was and wasn't possible.

"I suppose I wouldn't want it to be so boring with like a hundred questions. But certain themes and the like, something to test them, yes. Something to, you know, get them energized," she said with a wink.

[Riss]

"You're going to be an interesting mom someday," she laughs, shaking her head as they continue to jog. Glancing up toward the sky a moment she thinks. "What kinda questions? Lay one one me.. let's see if it gets me energized," she teases with a brightness to her.

[Cynella Andrim]

"Am I? I figured most mothers care about what their children's potential spouses are like in hopes for a suitable match." Cynella kept her eyes on the path, choosing their route based on prior familiarity. "Here's one to throw you in a loop: if you were an animal instead of a person, what would you hope to be?"

[Riss]

"Okay.. well, you are right on the cred there cause it definitely through me for a loop," she laughs, a touch of the strain from their jogging working it's way into her voice.

"Maybe.. uh.. Kriff, I dunno. What's the most damn clever and charming animal you can think of? I'm coming up blank.. unless, maybe one of them little cat-things, Kriff I don't remember the name," she says, brows furrowing in thought.

"See? It's supposed to tell you a lot about a person, like how you see yourself or perhaps what you'd like to be. In your case, I think I'd say that's your own perception." Cynella shook her head. "Unfortunately, I couldn't help you on the name." Animals weren't her strongest field of knowledge... nor were most things besides chairs, apparently.

[Riss]

"What do you think then?" a huff, "What do I seem like to you, mm? Or you- you do you or something," she says, the strain catching up with her even more she takes to focusing a bit, keeping the jog going.

Cynella recognized that her turn of speaking would help this jogging thing go along more smoothly. "Ah, well, I'd want to be a krayt dragon. They're massive creatures, the stuff of legends, really, though I suppose I wouldn't really appreciate getting hunted." She shook her head. "Just about everything I'd choose would be a prime hunting target. A difficult one but still I think compared to, say, your little cat-thing... I'd make many more enemies. Hm!"

[Riss]

"Making more enemies?" she laughs between huffs of breath. Taking her time with getting it out as the strain continues to increase in salience. "Maybe that should be me," another laugh, more huffs. "I'm real good at making enemies.. friends, you name it. Though.. prime hunting target for the big game folk, like Cynella, it's still dangerous. Krayts are not creatures that are hunted to easily, mm?"

[Cynella Andrim]

"Are you going to roam around and roar?" Cynella asked, laughing. "Dangerous, though... I think krayt dragons are known for being good to their brood, though I couldn't be sure. Perhaps there's a friendlier animal of similar prowess that I'd prefer over it."

[Riss]

Giving up on the jogging for a quick display, she takes those last few jogging steps and moves up to stand on a bench. One foot on the seat, another on the armrest, from there she places a hand to her chest, "Roar," was all she said, a half-chuckle, "Kriff I don't got the energy for it," she bursts into a bit of laughter, climbing down from the bench she sits on it instead and looks to Cynella.

[Cynella Andrim]

"Tsk, tsk. How are you supposed to ever improve if you give up so soon?" Cynella asked. She remained by the bench, shaking out her limbs in an attempt to remain limber. "I'm not entirely sure how energetic krayt dragons are though, come to think of it. They might conserve it all for those massive moments, you know?"

[Riss]

"I'm starting to think that I really am the one who should be the Krayt in this dynamic," she chuckles, putting a hand to her chest for a moment to just feel it there as she caught her breath a bit. Laughter taking over for the chuckle when she'd felt she'd had enough time to breath, "Here I am- ready at a moments notice to get real active but kriff me if you wanna see me jog all morning," she looks to Cynella with a teasing smile.

"Maybe, maybe," Cynella said, shaking her head. "Though I don't think they'd be so ready to give up when the situation demands otherwise. After all, if there's a looming threat lingering by, then any animal best be wary." She grinned before lifting her arms to a mighty flex, turning into a terrible menace!

[Riss]

"You're-" she holds the sound as she rises from her seat. Having caught a bit of her breath she steps forward into Cynella's personal space, leans in a bit so she was just a few inches off nose-to-nose and smiles- "a dork," she chuckles, laughing and shaking her head.

"C'mon, let's get some more running in before we call it a morning, mm? If I'm gonna do this.. kriff, let's do it.." she leans back, eyes flashing open a bit more surprised at what she'd actually said.

Cynella bit her lip, refusing to back down from Riss' invasion tactics. She narrowed her eyes in this totally serious manner. "Is it really that dorky to have a bit of fun sometimes?"

She leaned back and stretched out her neck. "But yes, I do think we need to make this a more regular thing. Come on, let's get you moving."
