Standing up, Jocasta faces the woman in charge and addresses her in a stern and angered voice, "Look around you, don’t you see what you’re doing. Look at these frightened people. This is no different from the Sith attacks. Your leaders have been manipulated, these actions will weaken Alderaan and open the window for another invasion. This is not the way!"

The Baroness raised her hand and said, “You have no idea what is going on, we are securing Alderaan’s future under a strong king. No more infighting, no more putting up with Thul. This is for the greater good!”

OOC: Brief interlude, if a player wish to continue acting they can but the Soldiers are holding for a moment. They can take a non-combat action if they like on their turns. She holds but does not trust easily.

Jerri stumbled around and exclaimed, "My eyes... I can't see!"

Omandri frowned and turned to answer the call

Layne would yell out. "And I should point out that this is almost certainly an unlawful action under republic law, so maybe don't make things even worse on yourselves! Right now you can still surrender, and the blame will fall on your superiors."

As she did so, the Force flowed inward, strengthening her muscles. Tyche, meanwhile, would stimpack herself during the interlude.

Seeing that she may be getting through to the Baroness, Jocasta continues on. “I don’t know everything that’s going on, but what I do know is this will only bring more suffering to the people of Alderaan. You can’t bring strength and unity and stop infighting by starting a rebellion. Have you spoken to a Thul? They want to free themselves of Imperial influence too. They are a House of Alderaan as well.

If this continues, House Ulgo might suffer the same fate as House Thul, exile from Alderaan and Republic space, having to do what they must to survive because of the poor decisions of a few. Or... you can stop this now and we can work together for a secure Alderaan.”

Omandri frowned and turned to answer the call

A holo image of his sister, a scare on her cheek blood… she has been hurt but obviously still in the fight. She said quickly, “Where are you… so, maybe… just maybe... kriff,” he sees her pulls someone onto to screen and viciously stab them three time.

“Okay, maybe you were right…” she said throwing a knife out of the holo. “Bouris wants the throne… I am not sure where you are but steer clear of Panteer Palace!”

In the background he can hear Olak, “You attack the Duchess! Olak will kill you!”

She added, “Olak says hi, now get to safety!”

From behind cover, Layne would take out her lightsaber; just in case things got dicey again. It was not yet ignited.

Omandri's eyes widened a little "Well sister your timing is impeccable. Things haven't gotten violent yet but Ulgo troops are here trying to take the Castle. We are trying to talk them down. Focus on you all get safe. I'm not losing more family today." He said

She glanced up as Bouris’ command ship approached the palace and said, “My uncle is a hero, he would never steer into exile, he wants what is best for Alderaan!”

"He may want what is best for Alderaan, but that doesn't mean he knows what is best for Alderaan. When has House Ulgo ever attack Alderaanians? Are you not becoming exactly what you are trying to fight? This isn't Imperial space, we don't resolve our issues by launching surprise attacks on our political opponents." She says desperately.

"These peoples," she gestures to the civilians cowering nearby, "have been through enough. We don't need to put them through this to secure Alderaan's Future."

Seeing that the Baroness is wavering, Jocasta becomes hopeful.

She frowned and said, “Go… he is headed to the palace!” She didn’t like this as she lowered her weapon. “Forgive me Uncle… please forgive me,” she muttered to herself.

The Command ship barraged the courtyard and send debris flying as it touched down on top of the palace.

OOC: Threat used to create a barrier of fire and debris between them and the palace.

She would get up from behind cover, look toward the command ship; the fire and debris in between them and where the ship was presumably going to land; then looked to her padawan and the others.

"Alright... time to go be heroes, I guess."

She would start sprinting in the appropriate direction.
