Aurilie knew that the museum had seen drastic improvements since she visited but the interactive assassination simulation exhibit wasn't exactly part of the brochure. She was very sure of that.

Unther and his Honor Guard rush to aid the Princess but most are cut down as he dives to protect his family! Thank goodness he trusted Joran and was in full armor for this!

OOC: Unther is rushing towards them and will once per round take a hit for either Jameela or Solara, Honor Guard grants a boost die to rolls. Kellen gritted his teeth. "Thanks but I don't think I will." It was a bad day to be a Rist. Swiftly he reached for the wall and put his code into a security panel. "The museum has been breached. Activate Security protocols." He input the various assassins and wannabes as threats then logged out.

That done he moved towards safety then took cover behind his least favourite exhibit. It was a sculpture of some Panteer or other that could quite frankly do with being shot up. "There's a safe room that way. I suggest we make an expeditious retreat."

Action to activate Security protocols.
Maneuver to move away from Baroness Disruptor. Maneuver to take cover (2 strain).

"Suit yourself, Professor," she took aim and fired again but this time Unther was there to take the shot even if it meant his life he would protect his family! The other two assassins light the Queen up but Unther is never scared...

OOC: Hit for 13 wounds with soak reduced to 7 wounds! 2 to Critical Injury and 1 to boost next ally. Unther is hit! Honor Guard grants a boost die to rolls. The next two assassins fire on the Queen and hit again! for 11 and 11, Unther takes those hits. He has taken 17 total!

Lana was angry and she channeled that anger as she tried to rip a pillar and throw it but she was too overzealous and it went wide over the assassin's head and brought down much of the second floor smashing several priceless relics and pinning Jameela under some rubble.

She shouted with genuine concern, "Jameela!"

OOC: Incidental to ignite after Maneuver to draw her weapon. Used Move it was not as expected. Jameela is now pinned and prone. Despair used.

Well, this certainly set the tone in a matter of a few seconds. Aurilie endured the shattering of the glass around her with the dash of ceramic shrapnel that bounced of her clothes for additional effect as the blasters made short work of the items in the museum. That was centuries of history collected by her House! Never mind that she took some bolts directly to the side. She gritted her teeth and quickly ducked down to find herself some cover and drew the cutlass at her side. It wasn't her trusty rifle but it would have to do for now.

Solara picked up the pillar pinning her daughter and once free rushed towards the safe room!

Jameela rushed after her mother ducking all the blaster fire! Unther brought up the rear! Jameela was able to cut through the jamming and sent out an SOS that the Queen was alive and needed aid!

"Oh dear, that might come out of non-existent pay."

OOC: It hit the minions for 11 wounds taking out one of them! But destroyed a priceless painting in the process.

The Master Assassin stimmed herself and then drew a second pistol and fired but missed, though she took a moment to blow the door panel off, closing the door behind Galen. Now it was stuck closed.

OOC: She stimmed herself as an incidental due to her kit and then drew a second blaster and fired on Galen! Use Advantage to shoot the door lock on the safe room it closes behind Galen! Wounds at 4.

The soldiers unhook grenades and chuck them at the shut door, one exploding with force and rattling the people in the room! Unther is blown from the door into the wall and is out.

OOC: It explodes uselessly, give a boost die to the next ally! The other grenade is much more effective! Blast is activated for 6 damage to everyone inside the Safe Room! Unther is knocked out from the impact!

Lana was angry she reached out with the Force and could only find the Light but her rage poisoned it into the seething inky darkness she knew and utilized. Her power blasts any debris from her as she rips two pillars and slams them into the two assassins nearly crushing them out right!

OOC: Destiny flipped to use Light, 1 to activate, 1 to increase to Silhouette 1, 1 to hit 2 targets! takes 2 strain. She deals 14 wounds to each, they soak and suffer 10 apiece.

Aurilie emerged from cover and made her way toward the assassin that Lana had very fearsomely taken care of with all the pillars. However, Aurilie planned to not give them a break and attack back, hoping to make short of them as she raised her cutlass for a decisive attack! While her attack might have used a bit more fitness, she supposed the results showed that she didn't entirely sleep in on her fencing lessons.

Just most of them.
