Meanwhile outside the Palace

The Queen steps off the shuttle having donned battle armor as more and more shuttle land from Organa and other houses of Alderaan even some from Rist and Ulgo that have chosen the right side though people look at them with suspicion.

The bulk of the forces are made up of House Thul, Organa, and Panteer.

“Alderaan will not bow to tyranny, not today, and Maker willing, not ever. We are the shining light of the Republic, even if it has dimmed let us feed it this day and return it to blazing glory. Inside is a false King, let us stand united and show him that we are a nation of laws and democracy and not tyranny,” she commanded and entered the palace.

[Omandri Rist]

"Hey Duke!" Came the doctor's voice as he walked back out of the hole in the wall "I'm not done with you yet." He said walking toward the armor clad juggernaut throwing away a stim pack as he healed some of his Wounds.

Jerri stood straight and said, “Ahem, yes, and I am not done either, Duke Ulgo! I am not as skilled in rambunctious brawling, but I was fourth place in the Organa Featherweight Boxing division, good sir.”

“I may be but one son of Alderaan but I stand with justice and democracy, you can’t fight us all!”

OOC: Jerri squares up and maneuvers to walk closer, and maneuver again to within Short.

[Yulastranza Ulgo]

Yulastranza put her hand to her ear and then said sadly, "Father, it's over. I know you have never known defeat, but for the good of Alderaan, lay down your arms."

[Solara Panteer]

“Duke Bouris Ulgo, we are disappointed in you,” was all the Queen had to say as all of Alderaan stood behind her.

OOC: Feel free to be here or not, open to all. You wins.

[Delmi Koor]

Delmi was near the Queen with pistols drawn and readied for battle.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

Bouris' niece, Jedi Knight Katarzyna, was quick to stand near the queen. Her green lightsaber ignited and held in a defensive position, her eyes focused on her uncle. Sorrowful eyes. "Uncle, please stop. Surrender."

"No more death today."

[Layne Hoshin]

Layne was laying on the ground. Looking very much like she was dead. She wasn't, but *she looked as if she was.*

Tyche was also there. On the ground. Not looking quite as dead but not seeming far off.

[Cynella Andrim]

Cynella stormed on in, clad in the best attire a woman could bring to a battle: her ballgown. She glanced at the fallen and the man himself. While there were plenty of words on her mind, she let it be for people with more authority and ties to the matter.

[Jocasta Teraan]

Seeing the rightful Queen of Alderaan enter the throne room, Jocasta turns to face her and kneels.

[Kellen Rist]

Kellen stood beside the Queen with his rifle leveled at the remaining Ulgo forces. He was representing House Rist and all of the shared history of Alderaan (which could now fit into a small drawer).

[Omandri Rist]

Seeing reinforcements show up Omandri let out a breath he hadn't known he was holding oh thank the force he had been prepared to go toe to toe with Bouris but certainly not looking forward to it.

[Galen Sol]

Galen was beside Kellen, watching the Duke carefully, his borrowed rifle at the ready.

[Dapper Dog]

Bouris removed his helmet and let if fall to the ground. He frowned and said, “The Sith will return, this war they have started is not over. Alderaan needs strength to survive.”

He stabbed his sword into the floor and let the shield fall and said, “But, you have proven that my way was not the best for Alderaan, your grace. For the sake of my daughter and my servants Duke Bouris Ulgo submits to the authority of the Crown, I only ask you spare those that are blameless.”

At least he knelt, “I am just an old man now, my daughter shall carry the burden of ruling House Ulgo, my Queen.”

The Queen gave a slight nod and the fierce warrior is taken away and those that are injured are taken to emergency services including Prince Joran who was still clinging to life. The Coup was at an end.

But was it the end of their troubles?

Delmi was near the Queen with pistols drawn and readied for battle.

Gets a text message from <Null> that said, "As test runs go, that was better than expected. I'll be in touch, you owe me."

[Omandri Rist]

Kellen stood beside the Queen with his rifle leveled at the remaining Ulgo forces. He was representing House Rist and all of the shared history of Alderaan (which could now fit into a small drawer).

Omandri dropped his shield and limped over to his cousin "Hope your day wasn't as exciting as mine." He said with a pained smile."

[Riss]

Riss had come in as well, near enough to those of her friends that were present as she could in a little grouping. One hand on Kat's shoulder for support, Cynella hopefully near her side. Not ready for battle, tired as hell, but she did have her super cool blaster she could rest her free hand on at her hip. Kinda looked like something of a space-cowboy, run down and ragged.

All supported by the relief she found in seeing more people she cared about, Omandri for one, still alive and standing.
