[Day 8 - MA] Dueling Hydrobanjos

[Dapper Dog]

The was rather sudden and more then a little unexpected, and gil blinked his cheeks going a bit pink but otherwise his expression remained rather even. Still as the woman finished he clapped, and dipped his head in thanks at the masterly crafted song.

"As you wish, Lady Panteer." Was his simple reply to her words.

"The compact is sealed, I expect a crown of flowers, Master Corren. If it is satisfactory, then you may share my bed," she said astutely. Then she departed.

[Omandri Rist]

Omandri was there as well, his expression pleasant enough but he had traded his suit coat for his secretly armored one though he was still in black silk shirt with emerald green shimmer silk tie and dress pants, the jacket didn't quite go with it but the look wasn't terrible. He also obviously had something hanging over his head as he wasn't quite able to focus on the playing though he tried to have a good time with it anyway.

Perhaps Aurilie's fabricated inner doubts over her dancing skills prevented her from getting lost in the festivities and focused on who was there exactly. She raised her brows when she saw a headful of pink hair. Making her way over to Riss, she would hook and arm with her and take her for a spin as if she was her dancing partner, tapping her feet to the instrument.

She would muster a false smile while whispering through her teeth. "Riss!"

You look like hell. Aurilie gaze said very much to Riss what she was thinking.

"Really?" she asks, mid-spin and nearly missing the step as she comes out of some kind of reverie in the moment. She takes a moment, glancing down at her wrist which raises a bit to get a good look at the cascader resting there. "Kriffing thing must be malfunctioning, mm?" she chuckles, near mirthlessly but there's a brightness to her smile which nearly distracts from how put on it is.

"I just- I wanna dance right now Aurie," she says, there's a slight plead to her tone as they move into the next step.

Aurilie blinked at Riss's attempt to shrug it off and it doesn't seem to ease her concern in the slightest. First, she disappeared from the bar last night and then she reappeared as she had gone through hell. There were so many questions. The prince seemed to wrestle with herself before she could muster a small smile and she nodded in agreement, if that was where Riss wanted to go at the moment.

"Sure," Aurilie said as she would let go of her arm as they exchanged hooks, moving back toward the direction of the gathering in general.

Walking past Gil she did her best to hide her amusement but that roll was just to daunting. Without incident though she made her way over to Omandri Bandzul in hand. Then bowing in a mock-courtly manner she says, "Sir Omandri, my earlier playing is a dedication to your genuine awesomeness. And I declare you the sweetest man in all the land." Then resuming normal speech she says, "Sorry about the other day. I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to feelings and stuff."

That was easy to understand, though more then a little quick. The woman recieved a nod from Gil before she departed, but he didn't bother to say much more.

Omandri gave her a smile as she approached though she'd likely be able to tell his nerves were certainly on edge, he did put up a good front though "Well I am flattered and would dedicate my playing to you in return but that might be more insult than complement at this point."

As she spoke his smile softened "Thats OK. Feelings are never easy, you have nothing to apologize for."

[Breela Po]

She laughed at his joke.

"Thank you." She smiled softly. "You're definitely somewhere else right now. But I just wanted to clear the air, free up some of that radiant mind of yours." She continues cheerfully, "I just recently had a chance to get away from everything and reconcile my feelings, my desires... even my grief. With the help of an old friend." He really is worried about something. She thought. "I'm even going to rejoin the order as an active Jedi as soon as the festival is over." She places an encouraging hand on his arm and addresses his anxiety, "Maybe when we get a chance, get away from the crowd in a little while. We can touch base and I can provide council on your current problems." I hope it's nothing serious.

Having had her go at playing, Kat put aside the instrument and joined the others in dancing as others took their turn at strumming up some tunes to dance to.

She wasn't a trained dancer, but she did her best and did so with spirit if not skill. (not gonna roll xD)

Omandri listened with a small smile the nervous energy softening a little while he did "I'm really glad to hear that Breela, glad to hear you're doing better and feel better. Does your rejoining the order mean you'll head back to the temple when the festival ends?"

"Ohhh yes," she nodded, "and how long that'll take nobody knows." The council has always done things on their own time. She turns and watches the silly displays of the musicians nearby. When the woman and Gil parted ways, "She's a real firebrand..." Breela laughs. "But yeah I'm not sure what'll happen afterwards. I want to help people, and I want to keep my skills sharp." She shrugs, "So I guess we'll see."

[Omandri Rist]

"Ah so no dojo after all eh? Shame, thought it gave Organa a bit of flair." he said with a wry smile "Well I hope that works out for you, I haven't been back to Coruscant in many years. At least if I make it back out that way I'll know someone to visit."

[Breela Po]

She smiles, "No, no, not Coruscant," she sighs, "unfortunately the temple there is in ruin. And last I checked not a priority to rebuild. I'm afraid the academy on Tython is where I'll be heading to." She grins, "But the same rule applies. Ever been to Tython before?"

Omandri nods with a small smile "Ah yes sorry I forgot. Pretty big event and all." He said shaking his head "but um no never made it to Tython, have you been there before?"

[Breela Po]

"Once," she laughs, "and there you go. Now you have a reason to come visit. I believe access is highly restricted but I'm sure I could find you a day pass." She smiles warmly. "Are... you going to be at the ball tonight?"

Joran played a song for Riss, it's not great but at least he is having a good time.

"Once," she laughs, "and there you go. Now you have a reason to come visit. I believe access is highly restricted but I'm sure I could find you a day pass." She smiles warmly. "Are... you going to be at the ball tonight?"

"Uh..." He paused a little "probably. I had planned to be, but we'll see how the rest of the day unfolds." This wasn't the place to talk about possible coups that he didn't even know when it was going to happen. Could cause a panic for no reason "but hey, Breela, just uh stay safe out there. Keep your head on a swivel you know? I have a feeling something will go down soon."

[Breela Po]

You too? She sighs, "Nothing we can do about it now." She rubs his shoulder, "Just go about your day like normal, and stay close to the people that need our protection." She pulls him into a hug and whispers, "I know we failed. But we'll get through this. Let's meet before the ball and talk." When she pulls away she says, "I'm going to get going. I've got a lesson to get ready for." See you around.
