[Day 1 - EN] Monday Night Huttball

She glanced over and saw the Ulgo woman and the Sith talking a short distance away.

So that's probably that Thraxxian... Thraxxan... whatever Bear and the Thul Duke. Seems uhh... tense.

She raised her hand for some refreshments from the vendor and started snacking.

Welp... probably the first time someone lookin' like him hasn't been running at me with a matching lightsaber trying to cut my head off. Definitely an improvement...

He smirks, "Like I said, gotta show my loyalty to the Monkey Lizards. It's not a long record, but I did sub in on the Monkey Lizards and played with the Valkyries. Been a while, but you can probably find holos of the games."

“Then I am expecting you to excel,” she said finishing her drink.

“Joran could learn a thing or two from you probably, needs all the help he can get… he’s all glamour muscles. No core.”

"Well, if that's something he's interested I could work out with him," he says with a nod. "Getting in some calisthenics and running. I had a training course set up on our grounds for just that purpose."

"My education covered the art of swordsmanship," he said proudly. "On Alderaan one should always be ready to duel."

"What have you tried your hand at then?"

"Ah, it wasn't a requirement, per say, for the Kuati." She neglected to mention the alternative of starship design since she was absolutely atrocious at it besides her job of choosing comfy chairs. "In terms of martial prowess? I've gotten the hang of using a pistol. Easier to carry around where I go instead of a rifle. I like to think I'm a decent shot, though I'm no markswoman.

"That being said, I have other talents outside of that," she added with a wink.

She ordered another beer and just nodded before looking at the game.

"One of my many pleasant qualities, I imagine," Cynella said, resisting the urge to wink again. She really did wink a lot...

"Target practice sounds lovely! I'd be honored to join you and the rest of your party." While curious, she decided not to pry on exactly who else was to be present. "And yes, I fully intend on being in your mother's good graces. I imagine you're an expert when it comes to that so... do you have any tips?" she asked, her eyes remaining open as she smiled instead. Damn winking!

Zeno watched too, and let out an excited cheer after a strong play from the Monkey Lizards. The blood spray from one of the Frog Dogs faces was censored, being a particularly gruesome injury. "That's how it's done!" he stated confidently.

“Mom is old fashioned, but she really respects a woman who knows what she wants and can act calm under pressure. Oh and if you can bake, she has a total sweet tooth just no nuts. Also and this is very important, you have to love my Huttball team,” he said with a smile.

"Well our arena weren't as nice, and our hazards were more mud pits th'n fire. The brass din' want their pilots reportin' f'r duty wi' third degree burns...or worse. But wi'out over boasting ah were a fine downfield receiver. Not sure ah'll get a chance t' prove m' skills though."

"Third degree burns aren't a problem if no one can touch you... or you know a good doctor with some bacta. All I'll say to that is that if you want to prove your skills, you'd probably need to decide between that and piloting. Not many leagues on Alderaan taking amatuers off the streetwhen they're drafting out of the universities. But if you were to get a shot, it'd be through a lot of repetition and persistence."

Garth shrugs, not overly concerned. "Y'mean they don' just recruit out the stands?" He asks in mock surprise. "Nah ah'm happy enough wi' my amateur status, even moreso than..." he can't help but wince as -

Garth answers without any bravado in his tone. His CV speaks for itself, in his mind at least.

"What 've yerself? Ah think ah saw ya at the meet n greet earlier?"

Riss claps at something on the screen and in the motion of it casually and skillfully shifts one seat over to be sitting beside Cynella. Trying to leave the other woman to her moment she keeps her presence directed toward the screen for the moment. A sip of the beer let her hide putting the elbow against Cynella's side, not forcefully but enough to drag her attention, "You're doing amazing on your own," she says quietly, something meant to not be heard by others.

He had only been able to visit Bar Shaddaa a couple of times while he was on leave during his military days. The place seemed to be roughly the same up scale but not too upscale. Fancy enough to remind yourself that your rich but not too fancy to make you feel like you have to behave too much.

Omandri had traded in his plain clothes for something a bit flashier but not too over the top. Simple but well fitted white shirt and black pants with a carefully tailored jacket over top.

He walked in and saw a plethora of notable people, the Prince, plenty of nobles,His eyebrows rose slightly but he quickly adjusted and straightened his jacket not approaching anyone just yet and instead heading to the bar and ordering a drink. Tonight promised to at least be a little eventful.

Since the prince seemed unphased by her confession, Cynella spoke nothing more of it. "Oh, well, I think that's the least bad habit of mine you could pick up. That or exercising regularly, though it seems like you've gotten to that before meeting me."

Breela managed to find a vacant spot at the bar and flagged down a tender. "Two ales, and I'll make your night if you manage a Sarlacc Kicker!"

Both ales slid over and she went to work on them.

Omandri looked over at the sizeable order for the feline dame and arched an eyebrow. He slid A little down the bar hearing her question he glanced at the view screen "Well based on the scoreboard I'd guess monkey lizards on account of them having more points." He said in a slightly teasing voice but with a good natured tone to it.

He glanced at the two drinks with the third on the way "meeting someone?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
