[Niall Organa]

Niall laughed softly. "All of them? That's a tall order." He pursed his lips even as his own hands teased up and down her flanks. "I'm not sure whether to hope that you surprise me, or that you wear that white number again. That was..." he breathed, "-a very nice outfit indeed." He kissed her again...

Still, while Niall was definitely waking up, the mention of the twins made him frown thoughtfully. "Yes. I would very much like that as well." He grimaced. "If only Gaul had done what he was supposed to. Keeping everyone happy is likely to be a challenge. A chance for us to play diplomat, I suppose."

Still, while Niall was definitely waking up, the mention of the twins made him frown thoughtfully. "Yes. I would very much like that as well." He grimaced. "If only Gaul had done what he was supposed to. Keeping everyone happy is likely to be a challenge. A chance for us to play diplomat, I suppose."

"Oh? Which one?" she leaned in, whispering into his ear. "Perhaps you can describe it so I'll remember next time."

She nibbled on his ear, the talk of politics forgotten for a moment.

Niall's arms tightened around his wife's waist, his pleased murmur almost a growl. "Oh, you know the one. Boots. Gloves. A bit more cloth around your shoulders."

His lips went to her ear, then. "And besides that... very, very little. It made quite the impression, love. I remember that night very well." His hands slid down to rest warmly on her thighs. Politics was rather not on his mind any longer, either.

She turned sideways, her lips meeting his.

"Oh, that old thing?" She responded coyly.

Niall grinned, even as he kissed her deeply, with growing urgency. "Yes, that old thing." He murmured, a mix of intense and teasing as he kissed his way down her neck. "Seeing you wearing that was a fine reminder of just what a lucky man I am."

He kissed her again, even as his fingers found the hem of the oversized t-shirt. "Of course, I'm reminded of that when I see you wearing this, too." Slowly, he began to ease it up...

"Oh, you charmer you." She started wriggling out of his t-shirt, her eyes smiling before her lips assaulted his...

/some time later...

Grinning, Niall stretched, arms and legs extending as far towards each end of the bed as he could. "Oh, Aly, love..." He murmured, nuzzling into her blonde hair, his arm around her shoulders. "It's strange, waking up here. But waking up with you, well," he grinned, squeezing her in a surfeit of cheerfulness, "-that's something I'll never get tired of."

Contentedly, he sighed. "I suppose we can't spend all day in bed." He paused, looking at her with a playful smile. "Although we could try. Perhaps we should have prepared."

Aly smiled, beaming next to him. "It's certainly an experience I cherish."

She fell silent, enjoying the peace and quiet. "You're right. We can't stay in bed all day long." Her long eyelashes batted at him. "We should get some breakfast after all."

[Niall Organa]

Niall grinned at her, spirits still very high indeed. "Mmm..." He leaned in for one more kiss, leisurely but tender. "Let me see what can be done about that."

Prudently wrapping a sheet around his lower half, he padded quietly to the door. Opening it partway, he slipped out. Instead of shutting the door behind him, he returned moments later, carrying a tray. It had a modest breakfast for two in the Alderaanian style, along with two mugs of kaf.

"I think the kaf is still warm, at least. Looks like it's been here for a little while." Niall said, slightly sheepishly. "Breakfast in bed?"

Aly let out a disappointed sigh as her husband put something on over Alderaan's ass. Oh well.

"What, no plankton juice? You know Tethys always sends me recipes for that plankton juicer thing." She let out a low laugh.

"You know, even in my youth, I didn't often get up early." Her eyes sparkled. "Of course, the reasons have changed now."

"Not this time." Niall said, smiling. "That was one of the stranger wedding presents we got. Still, very nice, I suppose."

He set the tray down on the bed between them, finding a comfortable sitting position of his own. "I remember." Niall said, smiling. "When you'd sleepover, I'd sit nearby and read while you slept." He nodded to a nearby chair, still there. "Now..." His smile became a grin. "Well, I like to be in the bed, too."

Niall picked up his mug of kaf, his grey eyes fond as he looked at his wife.

"Oh, and you don't have time to read, eh?" She smiled and started pecking from the tray, one hand holding the cup of kaf.

"So, we're old, wrinkly and boring now. Aaanyway." She let out a low laugh. "What do you think of this whole festival? It seems a lot of people are interested in the twins, understandably."

Niall looked at Aly, eyebrows going up. "I just checked you very thoroughly for wrinkles, love." He smiled. "I assure you, you are neither old nor wrinkly, and certainly not boring."

He idly selected a piece of fruit. "Hmmm. I expect the Festival to be enjoyable. I expect the politicking around it to be very much less so." Chasing a bite with a sip of kaf, he shook his head. "Ulgo has their pride, and it was injured. But the other houses have pride as well. I suspect Ulgo may not be adapt at assuaging the others. That will likely be where we come in."

"Oh, have you now?" She blew a kiss at him. "I know I know, you live to serve darling."

She eyed his fruit. Not the fruit on the tray. His. Specifically. "I can understand where Ulgo are coming from, but...it's not worth losing our place in the Republic. The Empire would love to just swoop in on and take ownership, I am sure. It would be good to come to a compromise, some way. Just not sure what way."

[Niall Organa]

"Yes..." Niall murmured, frowning thoughtfully. "Swooping is bad."

He shook his head. "Diplomatically, I hope. I see some value in letting Ulgo have what they want. Just... hopefully without being such pratts about it. That's the real challenge."

Noticing Aly's eyes on his fruit, he smiled. Leaning forward, he brought it playfully to her lips. "For you, my dear."
