Having not seen Thy show up for the meeting earlier, Katarzyna had reached out with a message to her fellow Knight, saying she wished to talk and suggested the quiet parts of the large garden of the Spring Palace.

Thy arrived with her hood up and said, "Greetings Kat."

"Thy, good afternoon," she smiled with some relief, and gave a short bow to the other woman.

"Are you enjoying Alderaan so far? I'm afraid it's not at its best these days, but... still lots of lovely sights to see. Here in the palace, or out in the wilds."

[Dapper Dog]

"I consider it beautiful. Alderaan is just a microcosm of the galaxy at large, and many of the problems are due to external competing interests," she said.

"And Gaul Panteer."

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"And Gaul Panteer," she agreed with a sigh. "I used to think quite highly of him before." Yet she didn't sound like she hated him for having caused all of this trouble. More like she was... disappointed. Let down even.

"All around the galaxy, there seems to be so many..." Kat lifted her hand slightly, and made a gentle grabbing motion, as if she was hoping she'd find an answer to the things on her mind in the air around them, "problems. Difficulties. Not even the Order is without it these days, no doubt from all these years of strife..."

[Dapper Dog]

"It's in times like these when we are uncertain of the path forward that we find ourselves. Or we find ourselves' lost, but even when lost you still find a destination," she responded.

"The Order is the same."

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"Believe me, I am trying..." she said, holding back another sigh. "I had hoped spending some time here on Alderaan would help me see the path ahead more clearly, still, I haven't seen it yet. In moments like this, I really miss Master Syo's wisdom."

That was another heavy thought. "... You say the Order is the same? How do you mean, Thy?"

"The Order is trying to find it's way, it's why I just allow the Force to guide me," she said honestly.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"I wish I could do it as easily as you do, Thy," she said with a wistful tone and looked at the garden around them.

"... What does the Force show you, or tell you, these days? After Coruscant, I mean. It's been... a difficult period for myself since then." Kat, who usually had this calm confidence to her words now let her own insecurities show. "And I don't have Master Syo to look to for guidance either... wherever he is."

"It tells me that the Temple has been destroyed a thousand times before and will be destroyed a thousand times again. The Republic rises and falls, all we can do is our best to be beacons of truth and light in the darkness. Stars do not stop shining even though the void and darkness seem infinite. I am glad I make it look easy, it does not feel so," Thy responded warmly.

"That sounds a bit fatalistic," Kat remarked, chuckling gently. "But... beacons of light in the dark. This might sound very strange, but Coruscant, despite being a terrible tragedy and a display of the ruthlessness of the Sith - I saw something I never thought I'd see, and it has given me many difficult thoughts later."

She took a deep breath.

"A Sith saved my life on Coruscant. I don't know if this is something that makes him good, or a beacon of light, but... it's been on my mind a lot. How much can they be redeemed, to turn to the Light? How much of it is hopeless?"

[Dapper Dog]

"It makes him a person, Sith are people," she responded.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"I'm quite aware of this. I just don't see the reason to... take part in an attack that hurt so many people, including so many members of our Order, only to cut down one's own people to save a single Jedi. Perhaps my own views are affected by having only encountered Sith before on the other side of a lightsaber." Kat shook her head to clear her thoughts for a moment.

"You were at Nar Shaddaa for the peace treaty, right? Did you get the chance to speak much with any of them there? Apologies if this is too many questions, Thy. I'm just... trying to understand, to consider all viewpoints, as my Master taught me."

[Dapper Dog]

"I can't speak to the motives of that specific Sith, but it is an incredibly self-destructive philosophy as you well know and they hate each other as much if not more than they hate the Jedi. As for knowing Sith, yes, I have had a few encounters. When I thought I knew everything I had some very close encounters but... in the end, they always reveal who they are inside. Or not."

"It's not an easy subject to simply explain."

Kat listened, and nodded. At the same time, she was trying to get a feel for Thy's feelings on the matter. She had given her word to keep an eye on her, after all.

"You're right. It's not something that's easy to answer," she smiled a little, to assure Thy she wasn't disappointed by the answer. "But thank you... it has given me some food for thought."

Kat listened, and nodded. At the same time, she was trying to get a feel for Thy's feelings on the matter. She had given her word to keep an eye on her, after all.

"You're right. It's not something that's easy to answer," she smiled a little, to assure Thy she wasn't disappointed by the answer. "But thank you... it has given me some food for thought."

"I do... so I'm glad I have my fellow Knights to confide in, even if my path is one I must find myself," she said, smiling warmly to Thy. "It is the strength of the Jedi, no? That we have one another? We are not alone, even if it might feel like it sometimes."

"No Jedi stands alone," she echoed.

"Even when we turn against each other, the truth reveals itself and we find our way."
