"Well, if I can help I will," he says. "Who is she?"

[Delmi Koor]

She chuckled slightly perhaps an internal mechanism that manifested itself when she thought back on the pain of the past.

"I'm not too sure actually. She left when I was pretty young. Only found out she was buried here a few years back. Don't really know how or why... Her grave is out by the lake near the estates. Just a simple pile of stones."

[Zeno Thul]

"No name?" he asked. "Just wondering if I'll recall her or if she was already gone before my time."

[Delmi Koor]

"I don't know when she died... but she left us when I was still a baby. So... twenty-something years ago? She went by the name Alluria back then..." She replied.

[Zeno Thul]

He thinks for a bit, concentrating to filter through the people he knew in Thul that had died. Alluria did not come to mind. "No... I don't recall anyone by that name. But if we have records of her, Xero will definitely be able to locate them. The family I've lost... it was a different experience, so I can't say that I understand. But I am not a stranger to loss. I know how important closure can be."

"Yeah.. thanks with whatever you can do. You and your wife have been more than accommodating." She replied with a smile.

[Zeno Thul]

He nods at that. "I'm honestly glad to help. Trust has to start somewhere. We're just trying to lay the first bricks for you so you feel welcome here."

[Delmi Koor]

She turns her head left and right for emphasis and smiles, "Mission accomplished."

[Zeno Thul]

"Did you get a chance to see any of the fair grounds this morning?" he asks.

[Delmi Koor]

"A bit, yeah. Beautiful place here. Lots going for it." She replied with a nod.

[Zeno Thul]

"I'm glad to hear it. This is a festival, so do try to take time and enjoy it. Out of curiosity, do you plan on seeking Joran's hand as a suitor, or maybe another here during the festival?" he seemed truly interested, and not opposed to either idea.

[Delmi Koor]

She nodded, “Never been much for romance… but maybe because of all of this talk of my parents and stuff… Realized I’m not such a spring chicken anymore.”

She smiled, “Figured I would throw my name in the hat… see if it gets pulled out. I hear he’s a decent guy… Gives me a chance to see if something clicks or not inside me.”

[Zeno Thul]

"Well, I'm not the courting type. I never met Ziandra before agreeing to marry," he said with a smirk. "It was a leap of faith for me, but I do hope it works out for you. There is one Thul who is seeking Joran's hand, but I'd be just as pleased if a friend of the house were to get his hand and affection. Though the Ulgo woman that Gaul snubbed... she's become very intense in pursuing Joran, so you might want to watch out. She might hip check you out of the way just to have a conversation with him."

“That’s cool and all. It probably means more to her than me.” She shrugged.

“They tell me this festival is all about love. Taking my first stab at seeing if such a thing exists for me.”

[Zeno Thul]

"I'm sure it does. I found it even with the world I came from when I wasn't even looking. I can't say it would be easy, but if a jerk like me can find it, anyone should be able to," he says with a shrug.

[Delmi Koor]

“We’ll see. I hear good reviews. Also some pretty terrible ones too.” She replied with a laugh.

[Zeno Thul]

"I've given both types of reviews," he says with a nod. "The first one may not end up being the right one, but its worth the effort."

[Delmi Koor]

She smiled a spunky smile and gave a thumbs up, “Well then I’ll give it my best shot.”

[Zeno Thul]

Zeno smiles at that. "I hope to hear good news then. I have no doubt that a capable and beautiful young woman like yourself will have plenty of options to choose from."

She chuckled, “You’re too kind.”

She took a drink to open up space for that particular strand of conversation to end.

This romance stuff is such a bore…

“So… look forward to workin’ with you on the bug killin’. I got one guy lined up. A vet I met this morning. I’ll let you know when I get the team filled out. Should be aiming for the operation tomorrow evening.”
