"Like I said, it seems like a dance." he answered. "Some approach directly, others have proxies bring them together. But, everyone keeps moving. If you want to be noticed, you have to dance."

"There are plenty of reasons for us all to get along. When it comes down to it, we're all on the same team. I'm not all that great with hidden agendas and subterfuge... Bein' straightforward is the way to go."

Upon the entrance of the Sith, Joran frowned and then said, "Well I need to check in with my sister, but it has been incredible meeting both of you."

He then started his way towards his sister.

Lunael made sure to stay visible in the crowd after stepping aside from her brief audience with the queen, taking pains to keep projecting that confidence. Any loss of face here would hurt her more than most.

And while she was at it, keeping an ear out for that hot goss is always useful.

She placed a hand on Jameela's shoulder and leaned in for a quiet word before leaving the two siblings alone to... talk or bicker.

Seeing an opportunity to take the bull by the horns, Garth excused himself from Zeno and Layne - it seemed they had much to catch up on anyway - and headed over to the now alone Lana.

"Miss Beniko, innit?" Garth enquired as he drew close. "Princess Jameela spoke highly of yer this mornin, and ah were hopin' t' bend yer ear fer a minute or two, if y' have the time?"

"Ah'm not sure if Princess Panteer tol' ya, but she had a run in wi' a crowd that seemed t' take her...association wi yerself as a slight after what the Sith did t' the people of Alderaan recently." Garth took a slow calming breath as he continued.

"I mebbe reachin' beyond mah station, or interferin' where ah ain't needed nor wanted, but ah thought mebbe there maht be some way t' present a diff'rent side of ye to 'em. Show 'em the goodness in ya th't the Princess sees?"

Her brow raised at the mention of goodness. She didn’t smile or frown and simply replied, “I am Sith, there is no other side of me.”

“What Princes Jameela endured this afternoon was unfortunate and I know that my presence here is contentious. I cannot change what has occurred, I can only hope to forge new futures through collaboration. But if you wish to see who I am then join us tomorrow morning as we feed the people.”

"Ah'm sure that th' people in need'll appreciate it, and ah'd be honored t' assist. Such works'll go far towards showin' that small minority of citizens that th' Princess isn't sellin' out her people to th' Imperials ah'm certain."

“Princess Jameela is not selling anything to the Empire, though I can see how one could come to that conclusion.”

Garth raised his glass in small toast of salute to the potential heir.

She was without a glass momentarily, until she pulled a full glass from the table to her hand with the Force. She then followed Garth’s motion.

“As an Imperial, suspicion is high that I am a vanguard for Imperial invasion. I have no such mandate, I am here at the behest of House Thuul who we admittedly invested a great deal of resources in to rectify an old wrong. I am at best a glorified accountant, keeping stock on a sound investment.”
