Early Bird Gets the Drama [Day 1, MM]

[Riss]

"Shut up," she says, a brief chuckle as she squeezes him right. Holding him steady for about eight seconds before she says anything. Voice softer, "I'm glad you're okay," there's that sincere warmth to it.

Leaning back she tousles his hair, smirking, and nods toward the door, "Let's go."

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

Yep. Those two were absolutely related. Kat was already guessing that what Bo meant by 'girlfriend' is what Riss also meant when she said 'girlfriend' or 'boyfriend', which would be whoever their previous or current fling was, and they were just long-term loaning this ship. Or money. Or anything of value.

She sighed, wondering how she now ended up with two Riss to look after.

"You two going to be alright? I would prefer to report this incident to the local security here, to avoid this too being pinned on either of you." Riss didn't need yet another fine on top of the other ones for causing a mess.

[Riss]

"We've got five days to come up with the creds.. or figure out some other way to get the price off our heads," she says, turning to Kat but glancing around the room. A sigh, she shakes her head, "I'm.. not sure what the authorities would do, unless you just wanna let them know 'hey, noble business' blah blah," she grimaces a little at the thought.

"But.. I won't stop you. Got nothing I need to hide from anyone. Assuming my brother here hasn't gotten himself into any other trouble," she casts an eye at him, "but.. better continue this at the ship? Unless.. you wanted to part ways for that now," she brings one of her hands up, holds onto the others bicep as she glances away, ".. feel s bit better if you came with though."

"Just to report what happened, so that the Organas are aware of what happened in that shop. I would prefer they do not suspect either of you for something wrongful... it should be quick, if you wish to give your statement to them." Being the Lawful Good Paladin, Kat wasn't the type to just let an incident like this go unreported to the authorities.

Especially since she wanted to foster good relations between Ulgo and Organa.

"And if you two would consider Organa's protection or help, it could also be a good start."

"Seduce an Organa, get them to loan us the money... never pay the loan back... profit," Bo added.

[Riss]

Riss listens to Kat, paused in consideration of what she said when Bo spoke. Which only earned him a quick side-eye, a groan, and her hand raising up to make a closed mouth shape with it, "Talking privileges' revoked, two minutes," she says with an even tone. Focusing onto Kat with a swing of her gaze she nods, "Okay, we'll tell them what's up. But.. I think you're getting your hopes up too much if you think Organa's gonna come and save the day," she says, glancing to Bo briefly, shrugging.

Riss listens to Kat, paused in consideration of what she said when Bo spoke. Which only earned him a quick side-eye, a groan, and her hand raising up to make a closed mouth shape with it, "Talking privileges' revoked, two minutes," she says with an even tone. Focusing onto Kat with a swing of her gaze she nods, "Okay, we'll tell them what's up. But.. I think you're getting your hopes up too much if you think Organa's gonna come and save the day," she says, glancing to Bo briefly, shrugging.

"I got this, sis."

"I think what she means, is this. You're a hot Ulgo, I'm a hot Lanar, let's go back in the Freezer and I show you why they call me the fastest ship this side of the Kessel Run," he said smirking with unearned confidence.

"You get this hot bod and we get Ulgo protection, fair?"

[Riss]

"Please tell me I never sound like that ever," she says, muttering the words to herself as she focuses on her brother. Hand raising, finger pointed toward the sky she looks at him and then sighs. Hand coming to the bridge of her nose she massages it for a few seconds, maybe five. Opening her eyes again she focuses on Bo, "Bo, buddy.. I gotta tell you something and I- I really don't want to be the one to have to do this."

"You do realize being the 'fastest anything' in that context is.. bad right? Just.. yikes dude, yikes. I'm really starting to wonder if we're related if-" she shakes her head- "never-mind."

Kat glanced from Bo to Riss, holding back a laugh. "Oh you two are definitely related."

Then she looked back to Bo. "And no, that's not a very smart plan." She gestured to her Jedi garb and lightsaber. "A jedi is not exactly wealthy. But I can get you an audience with Duke Bouris Ulgo if that is what you want to do... I wouldn't recommend offering him a good time in the freezer though."

[Dapper Dog]

Bo shrugged and said, "Well I am out of ideas, I say we run... I know this nice bar on Makeb got a friend that owes me. Disappear for like four months bang-boom, profit."

[Riss]

"First off-" she glances to Kat, "Kriff off," a small smirk betrays her, but it fades as she looks to Bo. Hands coming onto her hip, shaking her head, "I'd really like to live past four months, thanks. So, we're gonna keep thinking of.. better plans. One's that don't end in it'd be cool if I died like.." she grimaces a bit, though the look in her eye suggests she's actually considering a few of those. Guns drawn, blaze of glory, it looks cool but probably doesn't feel as cool as she imagines it.

"Well I know a guy... he's a sort of last resort, ever heard of the Cunning Man?" he asked on the way to their destination.

OOC: Underworld at Daunting with a setback. Otherwise what is known without the roll, a shadowy figure that can provide services or jobs at great cost but often great rewards.

[Riss]

"Kriff me- someone's starting to be useful all of a sudden," she says, putting a closed fist against his shoulder with a jab that's a little too much to be considered soft but not really a hard punch. A smirk, shaking her head, "Well, this is kind of a last resort situation. What's the worst that could happen, huh? We die?"

Kat was frowning without hiding it. She knew something and she didn't like it.

Some things you just stumbled across as you travelled the galaxy. And some of those things you wished you hadn't found out.

"I am full of great ideas," he responded.

"I would advise that to be a last resort. The Cunning Man from what I hear is even worse than the noble houses when it comes to collecting their debt."

Kat had her very Serious Jedi Face on as she looked to Riss. "Don't rush in desperation to this decision, but my advise is still to take a chance with one of the great houses..." she stopped herself from swearing as she had an idea she normally never would, but it seemed up Riss' alley. "... or you could seduce the prince to convince mother dearest that you two are to be left alone, as long as you aren't laying claim to the Lanar name. I can't believe I am suggesting this to you. Kriff, you're a bad influence sometimes."

At least she knew the name wasn't something Riss was overly attached to.

"Or the princess," Bo added.

"Or the kriffin' Queen, King Bo has a nice ring to it."

[Riss]

Riss looks pensive for a moment, arms crossing over her chest, "I.. kinda hate that idea," she admits, inhaling deep she blows the air out slow and controlled. "Look.. I know I don't normally have a problem with it.. at least, not much of one. Don't like playing with hearts to get something out of folk intentionally," she raises a finger, "unless they're nerf-heads."

"Anyway.. he probably gets enough people looking to win his heart to get something out of him. Not keen on doing it myself.. hated it every time it came up when I was younger. It's the reason I ran away from this kriff-hole in the first place."

Riss glances over toward Bo, half a mind to tell him how dumb the idea is when a smile breaks through her sour mood, "Ya know what little bro? You should go for it. King Bo, shoot your shot my liege," she says, putting on a show she even mimes him a good and proper Alderaanie curtsy.

"He's a rich boy Prince, who cares," Bo responded. He added in a mock crying voice, "Oh no some space girl broke my heart, guess I will console myself with all my trillions of creds and castles and limitless women. How awful for me. Give me a break, you're doing Alderaan a favor, I say."

[Riss]

Settling from the little display she glances away, arms crossing over her chest again, "Not about him.." her voice drifts a moment. Hand coming up to the bridge of her nose, holding it there she looks almost like she's in pain for a moment before her face relaxes, and she sighs, "Kriff me. This is what I used to sound like, isn't it. Is this how you feel when you're talking to me?" she asks, glancing to Kat. Chuckling as she shakes her head a little.
